Hadrian's in Bournemouth

Lovely English breakfast for £4.95. Waitress was lovely. I know this place lost its identity but it's great to see it back to how it should be. Good food at great prices.

I went to Hadrian's for a work get together. The food was very basic. I had garlic bread, chips, and aubergine pieces. Some of my colleagues had some chicken pieces. There are not many seats so most people in our group ended up standing. The decor was also very basic. The place is only good if you just want cheap drinks and I am teetotal. This restaurant is not good for business meals. It would not be a good restaurant to go for for a romantic date or family meal.

A truly dreadful hell hole that plays deafening music. Avoid at all costs. You can hardly hear yourself think. The clientele are appalling.

This place has become a really rough drinking hole. Don't bother, dreadful clientele. Can't believe how much a place can change for the worse.

I attended a seminar in Bournemouth, and decided to meet a friend for breakfast. Quite by chance we walked into this one. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady, Who frankly would be an asset to any restaurant. She made some recommendations to us, we fiddled with those recommendations a little , and 10 minutes later out came the best breakfast I have had in sometime. Some breakfast look like they have been thrown on a plate, not here. Ironically my friend and I were just laughing at a terrible breakfast we had eaten in a well known pub chain in Bristol a few days earlier. which came out cold to our party. I would highly recommend Hadrian's if you want a great value "hot" breakfast.

Lovely food,very friendly staff, we only had lunch there, but will go again for an evening meal, with the family. It was excellent!!

We went there last night as the Restaurant we had booked was too busy. We've been a few times before and have never had a bad meal. Last night was no exception and my chicken pasta in a creamy mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious. We had Hummus to start which is home made and comes with Pitta bread then my girlfriend had the Chicken Shish with Salad and Chips. At the end of the meal we were completely stuffed and satisfied for less than £35 including a couple of pints of lager and a large red wine.

Mixed grill to die for !!!!!! Plenty of meat can't fault the service the ambience relaxing and will be definitely back would recommend for any occasion and I've booked my birthday party !!!!!

Have been to Hadriens many times over the last year or two. Always truly excellent for done and service. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and will do anything for you. It is my number 1 recommendation in Bournemouth for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Decided to go to Hadrian's for a nice quick lunch with my family. Big mistake. Don't remember to be so badly treated by anyone as we were by the waitress. After forgetting one of the meals ordered, no explanation was given and the rudeness was beyond anything I've ever experienced. At the end, we just asked for the bill, due to a long hour of waiting, and she decided to throw the change on the table with no apology or explanation.

This restaurant is brilliant any time off the day from breakfast to dinner wonderful food and lovley staff

Come here nearly every Sunday. Such lovely staff excellent menu and excellent value. Absolutely wonderful.

Been going here for the last year and it never disappoints us. The food is that good that I have a double mixed grill as a main meal. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and its a nice little place to go for a good meal.

It was our second time here, both times great food, very good value for money, quick and friendly service. We would definitely recommend to give it shot next time you fancy nice meal. We'll be back soon.

Hadrian's a small restaurant with a big heart. A brilliant range of 'starters' and is good for social or business. They put the time and effort in to choosing a very good 'house wine', which is an indication of the good heart of 'Hadrian's'. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble and they look happy. Thank-you.

We have eaten a few times now at the Restaurant and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and great value for money. The staff are so friendly and there is nothing that is too much trouble for them. Especially Evgeniya, who remembers everything we like even down to the Lemon. Great place.This was the first time we went on New Year to Hadrians, the buffet was outstanding. So much food, one would not go home hungry. The Belly Dancer was great and the entire restaurant had a go. Needless to say I will not be taking up Belly Dancing, especially as I have two left feet.Once again Thank you for a fabulous night. Very disappointed by the quality of service here. I have been a number of times and experienced the same which is why I felt the need to write a review. If busy and the only table available is for >2 people yet you are on your own, you are often asked not to sit! The point is i'd like to have a coffee out on my own! Clearly there is a market for this, not just more bums on seats. Coffee is basic, but for the price is acceptable. Do not offer small breakfasts like toast, only full English etc. which again I find not very accommodating for those with smaller budgets. Clearly you make toast as it's part of other meals. Surely better to get some money than none?! Shame. Only plus point is free wifi. Won't be visiting again.

Popped in for late brunch on the off chance this morning as it looked popular. Nice varied menu with lots of breakfast items to choose from, panini and nice Turkish classics too. Very reasonable prices, friendly, efficient service, clean, casual, and really tasty, nicely presented food. My friends chose omelettes, I opted for lahmucin (at less than £3 I couldn't help myself) - we all enjoyed thoroughly, and agreed we must return to try some of the other menu options; the mixed mezze sounded delish! Smoothies looked good too - we'll definitely be back.

I have eaten here on many occasions during the day and at night time I have also had many parties here , family occasions and work Christmas do's !!!!!!!The staff are always accommodating and the atmosphere is fantastic. They are family friendly day and night. Food is excellent and they cater for every occasion from just the two of us to a party of eight to a Buffett for parties. Every consideration is taken into accommodating us for what ever occasion I would recommended Hadrian's anytime food can't be faulted and it's very good value for money Congratualtions to the staff and I'm loving the new decor!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ate here with a tablepouncer and we will definitely be back. Mixed grill was excellent with a mountain of meat (chicken, lamb, chops and ribs) with lovely pitta bread, rice and salad. I actually struggled to finish it which is rare for me!Personal highlight was the chicken shish which was outstanding. Fish dishes were also excellent by all accounts. Drinks were reasonably priced. Service was very good as was the ambience of the restaurant. bargain final bill rounded off An excellent meal and evening out. We will definitely be back soon.

Booked a table via Table Pouncer to have a family meal, only to be told that children are not allowed via Table Pouncer. Called the restaurant again and the owner was so rude and told that there was a problem in the kitchen and they would not take our booking. Just awful experience. If they do not want people booking via Table Pouncer why bother advertising on there???

Have now been twice recently in the evening and found a good selection on the menu at the most reasonable prices we had 2 main courses it came with free bread and mixed olives and a bottle of house wine and coffee all for around £30, will be back again soon. plus its open all day for snacks and meals

Just had yet another outstanding takeaway chicken and lamb shish from Hadrians. I have been eating there for years and can honestly say it is the best place for food in Bournemouth. The owner Aykut will go to great lengths to make sure you are happy. The place has a lovely authentic vibe and never fails to impress.

had the turkish breakfast on sunday and the black currant smoothie well worth it. staff friendly and service good well worth a visit

Have eaten here a couple of times recently in the evening. The menu is varied, with a good mix of mediteranean / turkish food & more traditional food like steaks.The portions are enormous & the food is all freshly cooked & delicious. Starters are very reasonable at £4-5 & all that we have tried or seen have been very good. For main course I can thoroughly recommend the chicken or lamb shish & the lasagne is also really good. There is a good choice of puss, the baklava being my favourite.The staff are very friendly & attentive, the music is excellent & the quality & price of the drinks very good. Peroni is on draught & a decent bottle of red is around £15.Would recommend to anyone, can't fault the place!

I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. What a fantastic find. The food was to die for. The Tempura prawns and the Fillet Diane were delicious. My husband had the Lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. We spoke to some people on a nearby table and they said that they wouldn't eat anywhere else. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will we be returning. Yes without doubt. Strongly recommended. Also the breakfast and the lunch menu looked good with lots of variety.

Was welcomed as soon as I entered and after a brief exchange I ordered the Shish Chicken with rice as recommended by the person serving me. I took a small Peroni draft beer which was very good, and took a table.When my lunch came I was amazed at the amount of chicken, the plate was well presented and appealing. The chicken was cooked to retain its juices and was marinated perfectly. I took chilli sauce with my meel, which was great, but the meal didnt need any more seasoning. The salad was well dressed and a good accompaniment to the lovely chicken.I intend to return here quite a lot in future, and can highly recommend a visit to all.

We had breakfast here this morning to celebrate my little brother's 55th birthday, at his wife's invitation. We were impressed. We were warmly greeted immediately and opted for a window table, although there were still 2 empty tables available on the terrace. We chose 4 different breakfasts from a widely varied menu choice. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. Each breakfast was beautifully presented and excellent quality. On leaving we asked about the need to book and advised to book for dinner but that it was not normally necessary for lunch or breakfast. Our day had been started in the best possible way!

Never realised how hard it is to find somewhere to have breakfast & park in or around Bournemouth. There is a serious lack of brekkie eating establishments & this was pure luck that we stopped here. This establishment is above & beyond what anyone could have expected. The food, service & value were all excellent & better than we ever could have expected. So glad we ended up here. :-)Sure we'll be back & recommend to others.

Called for Sunday breakfast and what a treat. Fabulous full breakfast, piping hot drinks, very swift service and impeccably clean. We'll be back soon. Great value for money too. Small outside space if you wish to eat 'al fresco' too.

We live in Charminster and we are so pleased this great Restaurant is just down the road. We have eaten here several times and the food is always Fresh and delicious. please give it a try you won't be dissapointed. the wines are very well priced too.

Order a chicken shish with rice and esme salad. Unbelieveable. Great service, very friendly. A bit costly for lunchtime but faultless otherwise

Discovered this place by accident this evening. Food is very good except for the lamb shank that was served cold. Immediately mentioned to waitress who removed it. It was replaced a short while later very hot. The waitress was very apologetic and I was given a large glass of red wine. We had very good starters, good portion sizes. The price was very reasonable Will be going back soon.

Booked a tablepouncer for this restaurant. We weren't expecting such a great meal here. Food was really good and the service was excellent and the price was outstanding The only let-down would be the lack of atmosphere, but the quality of the meal compensated for this. Will definitely be returning

We visited the cafe on a last minute table pouncer with no real expectations but boy what a shock in a great way food was of the highest quality meze starter was enough to for most main meals but the quality was just top notch Main course mixed grill for me an lamb Shish for my wife ... Both of us just thought fantastic a Turkish bistro style restaurant with friendly service and cracking home cooked food absolutely perfect no faults at all Watch out for the chilli sauce packs a punch

had a great meal , fantastic Turkish food , been to a couple of Turkish restaurants and found this one to be the best by a long way , popped in just to try but will be going back for sure , staff are friendly and helpful explaining each dish . we had Turkish hot mixed grill , huge plate full of food definate value for money
