We usually travel from London to have this Mandi. Normally we call them few hours before and request a full shoulder

Very yum and juicy👍worth the hype I’ve visited multiple times this year but the quantity of rice is too small for this price, each time it’s getting lesser (the only drawback for me)

The Hadramouth Platter was amazing! This was my first authentic Yemeni meal, and upon arrival, the place was already filled with locals—which is always a good sign. The price was very reasonable; the platter cost less than £30 and was absolutely phenomenal. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, the rice was flavourful and moist, and the entire meal was a truly pleasant experience.

Loved it here. think of it as a take away with public and private seating areas. we sat in a private space a wooden box kind with 7 chairs and 3 small tables that were joined to make a big table. when the food came oh days it was so so good. had i been local im sure id be having it atleast 3 times a week. we ordered chicken pasta and the lamb mandi. the lamb was soo so tender it was slipping off the bone. so glad to have come here. very affordable too.

Unhygienic food and it’s handling by the guys. We were left shocked by the way food was handled there after seeing all the positive reviews. Also, they charge different for different people, very unprofessional. Not ready to risk health at this place again👎

Must try place in Coventry. Famous for thier Spicy chicken with rice with salad. Cheap and very tasty. Its not too spicy its the right amount but everyone will love it.

Very warm welcome. And the food is oh so good! Delicious soup then huge platter of most delicious rice and on top of the rice delicious pieces of chicken and Lamb. Food fit for a king! Good price too :)

First time here was driving thru. Omg food was amazing. Chicken just fell off the bone succulent and reasonable price too.

I’ve visited this place several times and have always found the food to be fantastic and reasonably priced. It’s a cozy little spot for dining in. However, the restroom could use some attention in terms of cleanliness. There’s nearby free on-street parking, although it’s limited in duration. The location is quite central, making it convenient. I highly recommend it!

Had the lamb shoulder, 24 hours notice required. Honestly, was really good, would recommend without any hesitation. Only downside was the guy behind the counter complaining about how much mint sauce we needed! Considering how much we paid and we were prepared to pay any extra for the sauce, I was a little disappointed. But I guess they have overheads to consider...

We visited 3 times around 8:40 but they said food is not available then why did they put like closes at 10pm food taste was worst I have never seen such a kind of service in this area

Went to this place multiple times. Foods are awesome, reasonable price, nice little space for dine-in. The toilet is not as clean. Nearby free on-street parking for limited time. Centrally located. Highly recommend.

The manager who used to be there really served us high standards! Great guy And the one recently handles the place not upto the the mark , he wants to charge us for the covers .and bragged about it.

Just loved it… I ordered lamb mindi with rice best place to try Mandi, I observed a strange behaviour from one of the staff there’s an elderly man who does the plating he severs 3 pieces for some and 5 pieces for others I don’t understand why did he do that I visited several times to see if he’s doing it purpose and surprisingly yes it’s a regular thing for him it seems, it took sometime for me to figure out why is he doing it on purpose, after multiple visits I get it, he is serving more rice n meat to people who’s very known to him n speak same language or maybe they’re regular and speak Arabic but for some people he’s just limiting the portions which is absurd. Sadly the owner is not ware of this and I hope he will realise it soon..

See food quantity very low , I bought a chicken mindhi, Chicken ok but quantity of rice lower than any other restaurants. Should be focus on quantity and serve with respect , don't show your aggressive attitude, you are not feeding the cat.

First time visit (I was unaware it was there) and what a find. Having spent my childhood in Jeddah this brought so many memories and flavours back. Just as I remember it. The food is delicious and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

This is the best mindi lamb shoulder I have ever had. I drive from Derby to Coventry just to buy it. Worth it!

Super food, super tasty. The spicy chicken is so tender and juicy. Roast chicken and lamb is very popular. Very busy place. Very much affordable price. Also during Ramadan they make sambosa which is really good.

One of the best mandhi (mindi) restaurants in town, hands down. Inexpensive and delicious. Full of flavour. The staff is nice and friendly. It’s a small restaurant with limited seats. There is enough road side parking. Highly recommended.

Great food, the server is very helpful on advising which one I should go for. The lamb looks so yummy and I can’t resist ask may I have a little piece to try with? They put one small piece for me to taste, will order once I have more guest to dine in together. I seen one customer help himself at the tap water and soup serving table. After checking with the cashier they said it’s vegetable soup (lentil soup) not sure they change it daily. Taste like dhal (Malaysian style pratha bread sauce). The price was £1 a bowl, really? £7 a meal as shown on my photo and it looks huge so full with the big serving portion Parking is 2 hours free Monday to Friday few minutes walks from the restaurant

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! Visited this place for the first time and I regret that decision heavily. I don’t know about regular customers but my experience with the guys at the counter was horrible. Food was okay . But it’s the hospitality which matters. The mentality which they showed me was as if I’m a homeless person asking for free food . There was a relatively elderly lean gentleman with 2 other young people. All three of them were horrible in dealing with customers. Maybe they deal with Arabic speaking regular customers in a better way. I went to the place at 3 30 pm because I saw on google maps it was open . I had seen menu online and when I tried to order my desired food , the elder gentleman rudely interrupts and says “we are fasting don’t look at the menu” and shows me some food already there , I was confused regarding the price but instead of clarifying a customer with his doubts , he rudely continues. A young guy asks me to look at the menu displayed on screen to confirm prices , as I proceeded to look, the older guy rudely interrupts and tells me “don’t look at the menu” . Then they have some gibber jabber in Arabic right in front of me . Which was completely RUDE . In the end I had to get food because I was hungry . When I tried to pay for it with my international card ( as I’m a visitor to UK ) the elder gentleman rudely rejects saying something else in Arabic. Before running a restaurant in a country like UK where hospitality standards are high, they should learn a thing or two about how to deal with customers in a nice and polite way . I’ll make it sure that me or my friends don’t visit this place even by accident. Thankfully there are other good restaurants in Coventry that serves same food with much quantity and better prices .

A Yemeni restaurant that serves Yemeni food, the most famous of which is Yemeni mandi. Good prices, but the service is not as expected. It does not serve bread with food and without appetizers, only the main dish.

It's an incredible Yemeni restaurant, the taste of the chicken and lambi mindi is like nothing else. The quantity is also pretty good. We don't necessarily have to sit inside, we can always order a take away.

Mandi is one of my favorite dishes that I had been missing for a long time. I can't say this is the best mandi I've had, but considering the price and quantity, it is good enough to make me a regular visitor. The family and kid-friendly ambiance, along with excellent customer care, adds to the overall experience.

Had lamb and chicken mandi along with spicy chicken mandi. Really enjoyed fresh and tasty food. They are very busy but food is great. Highly recommended.

We called them and booked the table..and we went there they didn't had food. We went all the way from London and very disappointed.

Good food at an affordable price with good portions. Their sauce is truly great. The taste might be different from what we find in Kerala or India, so it's best not to make comparisons. The staff and service here are truly excellent.

Not the best Mindi I have ever had. The food is kind of good. But they have the worst customer service. I had to wait for so long to make an order just because the one on the counter was chatting with the one next to him inside the counter and didn't even care to take the order.

Actually, what is provided there as a lamb and rice integrated food is amazing! The taste is awesome. The type of the food is being done lay down on Yemen and Somalian cousine which are super delicious. You can see variety of different nationalities inside while eating. The price is okay and affordable. The plates are quite enough for a person to get full easily. Owners and the personnel are very kind, humble and generous. I strongly suggest anyone to go there and have the experience.
