I did not expect such a warm and friendly welcome, Habib greeted me and explained there would be a short wait as he believes in cooking items fresh so the quality is high, we stood and chatted and I got to find out lots about the buisness, I was given a menu and a sample of curry sauce. The shop delivers to the local campsite where we stayed and Habib said hello when he was doing deliveries later that evening. The food was outstanding quality and the service is one we won’t forget. Thank you from Summer and Family.

Despite being local, I will not be going here again. The woman serving was nothing short of being downright rude to the customer in front of me. She created a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere. If you're having a bad day, fine. Please don't push that bad day onto your customers. Especially at your extravagant prices.

Fantastic chips. Sorry I can't vouch for the fish as I am vegetarian. Habib always seems to be open when I go past, often at the end of a long local walk and the temptation is too great to resist. Always had a good portion of really hot chips.

A Sunday evening visit when most pubs have stopped serving food and the fish and chips eat in facility did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked with a delicious light batter and great chips . Truly the best fish and chips we have had in years . Staff were so friendly and welcoming . Highly recommended.

Habibs is a bang avarage fish bar. Had the donner burger, other family members had cheeseburger and and donner kebab. Burgers were dry and couldn’t taste the cheese, however the donner meat was great and cooked to perfection. When we got back it was still warm. However it took what felt like forever to get it. Overall not entirely bad Ok to get if you can’t be bothered to cook at home

Pre ordered on line, was ready when we arrived. Chips and fish delicious, chicken tasty and deep fried mars bar… yummy 🤤. They have a very extensive menu, would highly recommend.

The quality of food and service is excellent. You can expect well made fast food and friendly owner makes this a pleasant place to visit. The pizzas and chips with curry is really tasty. Well worth a visit.

Called in with family after a walk by the canal. Been here before and were always happy with the service. New owners have maintained the high standard of food we expected but got a real shock when I was told the final bill…. £75.

I was charged £4.50 for small chips with curry sauce - absolute rip off. Avoid this place and go elsewhere.

Staying over from Norfolk and the pubs were fully booked so gave Habib's a try as it had tables. The fish and chips (and the coffee) were excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. When my baby granddaughter knocked over a mug of tea, my attempt to pay for the replacement was waved away. I have been a fish-and-chip lover all my life and these were among the best I've had.

Couldn't find a pub table for eating in Cromford so ventured into Habib's in hope. Polite and warm welcome, food cooked quickly to order and served hot and in generous portions. No frills but excellent quality. Attentive staff made this accidental trip such fun. Good value too.

Good portions of cod plus the benefit of a delivery service if required but best bonus is that they take debit cards!! A decent choice if fish and chips don’t fit the bill.
