The gyros were absolutely fantastic — packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The lady who served us was incredibly pleasant and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and friendly staff

I went with my friend about a week back and I have to say the service and the food was amazing!! Our waiter George was just fantastic! On top of having amazing service he was such a lovely person and helped me and my friend on deciding what to get. And on top of that the food was just another cherry on top. The chicken gyros with tzatziki were the best I’ve had so far, and the the recommendation of the baklava topped it all off. Overall it was fantastic service and food and I can’t wait to come back!

Attended this place last week. The gyros was cold, chips hot. When we gave a negative observation the staff were rude. Drinks brought out very quickly tho. For some reason a dog was out in the restaurant which I’m allergic to so not a great experience I would not recommend this place one bit.

Ordered spanakopita for starter and a margarita pizza both seemed to be of poor quality and like it had been reheated in the microwave definitely not worth £19, if you want Greek go to Delphine the quality is far greater then this weird microwaved soggy mess, very disappointing 😔

I have never been to a brunch session before so this was the first time This was a first class experience. The service was exceptional. The food was fantastic, the DJ nailed the soundtrack & I can recommend Gyro's wholeheartedly. I hope to come back soon, thanks to all the staff!

Booked the bottomless brunch for a hen party 4pm on a Saturday. Great atmosphere, staff were fantastic. DJ playing some tunes. Super quick service and endless cocktails available. Waiting staff are super attentive and your never without a drink. The food was amazing and tasty. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Agree with the vast majority of reviews. We visited for the first time tonight as a party of 6. Excellent value for money. Top service and loads of atmosphere.

Top quality food with extremely generous portion sizes, luckily they provided us with some takeaway boxes for our leftovers. Looking forward to my birthday so I've an excuse to go again 😊

Wow, just wow. Best gyros I've had in the UK by miles. Took me right back to Corfu and Paphos - my happy places 😁😁 The chicken gyros with garlic sauce and extra Tzatziki was INCREDIBLE. Make sure you get an extra pot to dip - trust 👌 Plenty of parking (on a Sunday evening), service was great, server was really friendly, food was on time and served piping hot ready to eat and the price was super reasonable. Will be back soon 100% with my family and friends. I’d upload pictures but that meal is well and truly GONE.

Came for my girlfriends 18th for a bottomless brunch and we was more than happy with the food and service. Great value for money! And George was very friendly.

food was cold, garlic sauce was missing, portion a lot smaller than usual.im sure they changed ownership. I'm not sure if im ordering again.😔

Brilliant bottomless brunch. The food was decent and they were responsive with drinks which makes the brunch. My highlight was George! He made the whole experience!!

Just had the pork gyros with extra bacon and pepperoni loaded fries. It's out of this world, bread is nice and thick with massive slices of pork. Should of taken pictures and I didn't eat but I every intention to have a sit down meal there. 10/10 and a must.

The Gyros and the chicken with halloumi pizza, were all excellent. It was tasty, beautifully cooked and with top quality fresh ingredients. I appreciated the dressing for the Greek salad being served separately so it stayed fresh without going soggy too . It was a great Friday night treat. Thanks.

Love atmosphere, lovely staff and lovely food. Massive applause to your kitchen staff member Jamail who assisted me when I had fallen outside when leaving. He helped me up and guided me to my car allowing me to get home safely. Jamail was nice and perfectly mannered. Brilliant representation to the company. Will 100% be back.

I came to this restaurant expecting a lovely meal and my first surprise were that dogs were in the restaurant (which is no problem I am a big fan of our furry friends). The problem was while I was eating my food, which was unexpectedly vile, a dog decided to leave its feeces right next to our table. Now this really upset us as who wants to eat food next to a dogs waste? As it couldn’t get any worse it did when another dog came and added to the pile. You may think I’m joking but I promise you all this did happen and I feel as though it’s wrong to not share this experience with you if you are thinking of coming to this place. The main staff were in no rush to come and clean this up and proceeded to verbally abuse some of the younger girls working there which I found very disturbing and it made me and my family uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place.

I came from Ireland to visit family, we went to Gyros to have lunch, while waiting for our food the female manager running the place was swearing, giving out to staff who were clearly doing nothing wrong, and had terrible attitude, staff were great except the people who seemed like they were running it, food seemed rushed and not well done, and the place needed a wipe down, dirty and chewing gum under our table, kind of ruined my trip a little

Verbally abuse staff and bully the homeless all day long, AVOID!

Food was very cold! Halloumi cheese was freezing, chips were cold and hard and chicken gyros was cold aswell! Rather disappointing as the times I have ordered from here it’s been lovely!

Always a warm and personal welcome from the owner and her staff. The food is fresh, well presented, and great value for money. Daytimes have a laid-back atmosphere, and the evenings are lively.

Have ordered from Gyros Bros. a few times now and never disappointed. Had the special mixed salad this time and it was proper nice. Will definitely get that again. Only grumble is Gyros Bros no longer deliver to my postcode (they used to) so had to order via just eat and their delivery service which costs extra for the food and delivery charge.

14 of us booked on a bottomless brunch, the price is good value for money as we were never without a drink. The food was great. A big shout out to all the staff and owners you do an amazing job.

Feel bad for giving a 1 star as the staff were fab. But we paid a lot of money for a bottomless brunch. Staff were Brilliant, the food was lovely. But, we were asked 5 minutes before the end if we wanted 1 last drink. We said yes and ordered drinks. We were told we need the table back in 5 minutes but we could take a seat outside. We obliged, and went outside, I asked if we could pull 2 tables together as there were 6 of us, the owner said no, you've had your 90 minutes now leave. I asked her who made these rules and she said, me, are you jealous of me. The doorman then physically forced one of our party of the premises, for which he apologised for later. We were basically told to leave an not allowed to drink the drinks that we had paid for. We later received a visit from the police saying one of our party had thrown a drink at the owner and this was assault. I am sure the police have more serious issues to be dealing with on a Saturday night, such as domestic abuse, murder and actual real assault, how someone can call the police when their own behaviour has been totally unacceptable is beyond me. So moral of the story, if you book a bottomless brunch, don't expect to be able to finish your drinks as you will HAVE to leave as soon as your 90 minutes is up. Oh and you need to be jealous of the owner or else she will call the police and take them away from the work that they should be doing.

chips were horrible alot were black or tasted like yesterday chips. Stop putting lettuce in a Gryro . lived on Greece it never done . Surprised at this has had food few times before .

Found this place on Google, to say I've lived in Wakefield all my life that I never knew if this place. All staff was really friendly & welcoming. Food was amazing! Will 100% be coming back.

The gyros were tasty and salad lovely and fresh but not much chicken for the price. The cheesy chips were not very cheesy despite stating on menu it was double cheese, once top chips were eaten they were just plain chips. The pizza wasn't great unfortunately, the topping just slid off the base

excellent food that was delivered hot and right on time. the bread was amazing and I would have loved that on its own but the well seasoned meat made the meal amazing. it was one to the tastiest meal I've had for awhile. I will definitely be ordering again

We collected our takeaway from Gyros Bros, as soon as I walked into the restaurant, all the staff (bouncer/bar staff/waiting staff) we all friendly and helpful! The food was delicious! Lovely place and will be going back!

Went a tad out the way (from Pontefract) to finally have an authentic gyros. And my god I wasn't disappointed! The food was immaculate! The staff were extremely nice and welcoming, the restaurant itself was beautifully presented with live music also! I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with this restaurant and will be highly recommending and returning shortly!

Cracking place. Food and atmosphere are always great. The restaurant and bar is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the DJ plays a great mix of tracks both old and new giving the place a really good vibe, without being overpowering to the ears. Food is fab, plentiful portions and (in my opinion) excellent value for money, with good vegan & vegetarian options available to those with dietary requirements. Last, but definitely not least, the staff are always exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. I would definitely advise booking to avoid the disappointment of potentially being turned away. It's a popular, busy place, especially on Saturdays and it's easy to see why! 😁

Pizza dough should be soft and I can't bite it. The rest of the portion will go to the bin and I didn't pay for it. I have ordered pizza from you many times and it was tasty. This one arrived cold and tasteless

Although the Food was Very Nice presented Unfortunately it was covered in Salt on Everything bar the Salad which was very Disappointing as couldn't eat it all as the Salt was far too much So Unfortunately won't be Back

The chicken gyros were really tasty. Having recently been to Greece, upon my first bite i was taken back to the flavours i experienced there. Decided to take out as it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was buzzing with people and music. Food was served in a reasonable about of time. Portion size was enough for one person. So you could say a good meal proportion. Will definitely be going back.
