Quiet place just along the sea front. Very nicely prepared food and very tasty. In the summer time best to book to be sure of a table if their is more than 2 or near peak eating time.

I called in for a meal on my way home from North Wales recently having heard rave reviews. I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the food - it was simply stunning. I was very impressed by the wine list too - they even had mead! My favourite! The service was friendly and my food was served in a reasonable amount of time given how busy it was. The only slight negative is how small it is. They seem to have tried to fit as many tables as possible in, so it was a bit chlaustrophobic. The waiters even kept brushing against the coat on the back of my chair every time they passed, which was rather annoying. Other than that though, it was great.

Fisherman's Rest

01/10/2018: Right on the waterfront, friendly staff, good food, comfy seating. THEY ALLOW DOGS. Perfect for a lunch time snack. We really enjoyed our Sunday meal there. I had a Seafood Platter. Plentiful and filling. I was in Cardigan for 4 nights and went there twice. Highly recommended. The picture is the view taken from the balcony as there are seats outside.
16/11/2018: We were seeking a comfy spot for lunch and this fitted the bill perfectly. Comfortable, welcoming, good location next to the river. Delicious food. My wife described her cawl as the best she had ever had, and I might be inclined to agree. Good bottled beers and ciders. Good value. We will return!

The Plwmp Tart

30/12/2018: We went for a nice 3 mile walk along the cliff tops & started & finished at the cafe. Obviously this is very popular as the car park was packed, mostly with walkers. Had to have lunch & the girls had soup & the boys had toasted sarnies. An excellent lunch washed down with a nice cup of tea. They had a great choice of cakes which we had to decline. The service was excellent & this is a great place to start/stop. The surrounding scenery was fantastic.
08/10/2018: we decided to go to Penbryn beach near to where we where camping
