Gusto restaurant & Bar in Leeds

As we were the only customers at the time that we visited then we had to create our own atmosphere. We were very well looked after by Oli and his team. There is a fine line between attentive first rate service and obsequious service. Oli must take care not blur the boundaries. Overall, an excellent afternoon had by all. Thank you

The gustos staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, from excellent service from our servers Sophie D and Kelsey, and superb food from the chefs Devis, Shaun and Agnus. We would recommend the half and half garlic bread and tear and share desert, as well as the best pizzas and pasta we’ve tasted (even better than ones in Italy). Shoutout to Fern for our amazing drinks and Andy for making our plates extra clean!

We arrived early evening on Saturday, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and we were greeted with a warm welcome and smile, from start to finish Oli provided excellent customer service. The food was amazing too! My little boy loved preparing his topping on his pizza 🍕 Thanks Oli and the team for a wonderful experience at Gusto's Cookridge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went to Gusto (Cookridge) for Mother’s Day (5pm). As you can imagine it was heaving and loud (hence lower star for atmosphere). We ordered the Sunday roast two courses. The roast meat was lovely and enough of it (my cat got my excess) and enough veg too but I found the meal could have been hotter, the roast potatoes tasted like they had been cooked in old fat and the Yorkshire Pudding was hard when it should have been soft and fluffy. More gravy was offered free of charge. As for the puddings we had a variety as there was 5 of us. Tiramisu looked lovely, sticky toffee was nice, crème brûlée tasty but small and my sister in law’s brownie was TINY. My affogato I enjoyed … creamy ice cream, espresso shot and disarono shot to have too. The flavours all came together lovely. A nice meal but not exceptional and it was too loud for us. Better coming on a quieter day (if there is one). Nice to see the restaurant doing well though and the waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Would come again but for a lunch

I came with family and friends and it didn't disappoint. We were served by Oli who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sharing starters and it was good to get expert advice on which wines to order. We didn't wait too long after ordering and the food was nice and hot.

Came for a Mother’s Day lunch with my Mum and the food was brilliant. I brought my very fussy Mum and she absolutely loved it. Chiara was very accommodating to our needs.

The food was absolutely unbelievable, amazing value for money too. Especially the vegan food. The vegan steak was really good, and then vegan pizza and "dough petals" were unbelievable. Even the mushrooms and potatoes on the side were amazing. Lovely lager too. Honestly the best meal in living memory. The waitress was a little slow and quite forgetful.

We have been served by Chiara who was an absolute star, very positive and welcoming, she helped us choose the best wine perfect for what we wanted. The food was beautiful and served in no time.

Nice welcome at Gusto Cookridge tonight and again we were attentively and efficiently served by Chiara. This time we popped in for a quick bite and we both had the two fillets of sea bass with additional skin on fries. Perfectly cooked and delicious as usual. Didn’t have time for dessert more’s the pity.

Cute Italian restaurant on Otley Old Rd, just off of the main Otley Road. First time & I went for appetizers & drinks with some friends. Massive restaurant, but seated by the bar area, so very quiet & going on a Friday evening was perfect. Service was exemplary.

Lovely restaurant, great staff, great food, great atmosphere. We had a person in a wheelchair which was accommodated easily as the restaurant has 2 levels. Would definitely come back

Took my daughter this evening for her birthday as always considered it a really great restaurant. However,was incredibly disappointed with food tonight, and both my son and daughter felt the same unfortunately. Although, must mention our waiter was lovely/polite and therefore service v good. 19.3 Saw the restaurant response below and have emailed twice now but had no response or acknowledgement unfortunately.

We had a lovely meal and the service from Euan was great. The atmosphere was a little spoiled by some small children making a fair amount of noise and running around the restaurant. We appreciate that this was due to the parents' lack of responsibility rather than the restaurant staff. At least once they left, we were able to hear ourselves speak.

Celebrated my son 16th birthday with Family They was 9 of us . The staff were amazing especially our waitress Chiara . Lots of energy and chatty and on the ball when our wine glasses were empty.
