Lovely Food, too noisy when crowded.

The Ghurraks oven is a wonderful place to eat. The food is amazing, the service consistently good. We take friends here for dinner when they visit us in Spalding, they cannot believe that we have such a fantastic restaurant in our town and love eating here too. Highly recommend

Nice decor & very welcoming & friendly staff. Not impressed with draught Cobra, very tangy & tasted like lines needed cleaning onsite to bottles of Kingfisher. Poppadoms really fresh tasting, Onion bhajis fairly crispy & seek kebab was ok. All 4 of us were happy with the 4 different chicken dishes ordered. the chicken was very fresh & fell apart & really tasty. Garlic naan was pretty good. Decent prices & all in all good, Not the best we’ve been to but the friendly staff make it a nice experience & we would go again.

Was a lovely meal for 2. Dibas served us and was so kind and attentive. The food was fab, we had the special butter chicken and it was gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to Excellent service, excellent food , great atmosphere. We travel 30 min in the car to go here. Been a regular customer for 5yrs . Would highly recommend to family and friends.

Terrific. Some of the best food we’ve had for a long time at a restaurant like this. Helpful, friendly staff. My choice slightly restricted because I can’t eat onion but i was offered a number of dishes when I’m usually told that I can have only tandoori chicken. Highly recommend.

Best curry I've had in a long time, tender chicken with a lovely spicy kick to the sauce, and the rice tasted so fresh!! Waiters were very attentive, it was quiet bit they couldn't do enough for you. Great experience - I would recommend the LKK with mushroom rice.

Great place , lovely food . Held my partners 50’s there two years ago . 24 people at one table service was brilliant. Vegetarian options were equally good ., as the meat ones . I have been back meals in and take away . Well done ..

It was really awesome love the waiters Food is great with good looking leaf on top of the food always get me in the mood for a good night . But we did need the owners to quiet the people next door gave me some back up with them.

I was in a Dubai Michelin star indian restaurant last week. My experience was absolutely superb. However my experience last night in Spalding was certainly equal to, if not better, than Dubai. The food quality for all courses for my wife and I was fantastic. Possibly the best Lamb Madras I have ever tasted. Thank you Gurkha Oven !

Would always recommend. So far touch wood this place has not let us down. We’ve had multiple dinings in and take aways from here. Very welcoming and will always find something on the menu that suits all, even for the kids.

We travelled 2000 miles just to have a fabulous meal at this brilliant venue. Visiting our wonderful friends in Spalding we went to this venue and what a divine meal we all had. Superb house specialities along with excellent friendly service. Would absolutely visit again and enjoy some of the other dishes. Would highly recommend the onion bahjee. 10 stars 🌟

A place I would have recommended a few years ago, but not anymore. The food distinctly lacks authentic flavours, lacking spices and heat. Very bland and disappointing. I have had greater enjoyment from supermarket ready meals.

Decent restaurant in Spalding. Friendly staff and nice open dining atmosphere with lots of decorations on wall and large fish tank. Ordered variety of dishes as part of large group. Dishes were very tasty but portions quite small for price and set up as a curry house where each person orders portion of rice/naan for themselves. Nice food overall though. Please note restaurant access is by stairs only.

Very disappointed with the service yesterday. I always use Gurka Oven , but yesterday was a bit of a disaster. I ordered my food on line as I always do, no food was delivered so I called and was told it had been forgotten to be put though to the kitchen. 10 minutes later a delivery man brought my order, and it was only just warm. Then 30 minutes after that the same driver brought me another order, I reminded him he had only just brought me my order. I love Gurka oven but this has put me off a little.
