Ground Up Coffee Shop in Rother

It's a little odd but it's pretty hard to find a great coffee in rye. I only drink black coffee so I like one with flavor instead of just a cup of black water I stumbled across this place after walking from camber and I'm so happy I did. The lady who runs it was super nice to me and my dog and makes a great cup of coffee

If you want a proper coffee in Rye, go to the Ground Up Coffee Shop. I'm only disappointed that I found this cafe at the end of my trip. A self confessed coffee ogre, I searched everywhere for a decent beverage, only to find it near where I had parked my car. But it is more than just somewhere selling good coffee, it is welcoming, friendly, professional and a delight to visit. Big up Esther and the team. Fabulous x

The atmosphere is great, the staff are very friendly & the coffee is amazing. Free car parking section in the opposite car park is perfect too.

If you are looking for the best coffee and cake this is the place to go. Such a beautiful coffee shop to visit. Great staff and great service.

Great because the service is great and the drinks are even better. For a small shop I’m surprised how nice it is. There are no rude workers. In my opinion I’d go here often and the decor is insane

What a fantastic shop, so welcoming and great choice of drinks, snacks and cakes. Always try to find an independent coffee shop and this has to be one of the best, so friendly and probably one of the best coffees I have had and my daughter absolutely loved the chocolate cake. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone visiting Rye. Definitely 5 ⭐️

I came to Rye to visit this weekend and stopped for coffee and cake. The staff have made it such a friendly and welcoming place to relax and natter. My sister and I stayed for over an hour. The coffee was delicious and the cake was fresh, tasty and a generous portion too! If we are Rye again we’ll be back!
