It's a little odd but it's pretty hard to find a great coffee in rye. I only drink black coffee so I like one with flavor instead of just a cup of black water I stumbled across this place after walking from camber and I'm so happy I did. The lady who runs it was super nice to me and my dog and makes a great cup of coffee

If you want a proper coffee in Rye, go to the Ground Up Coffee Shop. I'm only disappointed that I found this cafe at the end of my trip. A self confessed coffee ogre, I searched everywhere for a decent beverage, only to find it near where I had parked my car. But it is more than just somewhere selling good coffee, it is welcoming, friendly, professional and a delight to visit. Big up Esther and the team. Fabulous x

Great because the service is great and the drinks are even better. For a small shop I’m surprised how nice it is. There are no rude workers. In my opinion I’d go here often and the decor is insane

Delightful new coffee shop - friendly cheerful staff - really delicious coffee ( organic served with milk from local dairy) fine tea and a delicious hazelnut pain au chocolat. Highly recommend you drop in

What a fantastic shop, so welcoming and great choice of drinks, snacks and cakes. Always try to find an independent coffee shop and this has to be one of the best, so friendly and probably one of the best coffees I have had and my daughter absolutely loved the chocolate cake. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone visiting Rye. Definitely 5 ⭐️

I came to Rye to visit this weekend and stopped for coffee and cake. The staff have made it such a friendly and welcoming place to relax and natter. My sister and I stayed for over an hour. The coffee was delicious and the cake was fresh, tasty and a generous portion too! If we are Rye again we’ll be back!

The Colonnade Marina
Just Fabulous Visited today with my two boys. We all had Toasted Bacon Sandwiches. The staff so accommodating, crispy bacon, bacon with fat off - nothing was too much for them. Oh and the milkshakes are THE BEST we have had, we had strawberry and chocolate- would highly recommend them and Hughie's for a delicious lunch with a fab view as well!! Thank you

Newington Court Pickford LaneI’ve been coming here for food for a while and it’s always deliciously prepared and served by very friendly and welcoming staff. It’s a lovely cafe situated in a quiet side road in the centre of Ticehurst village, well worth seeking out, keep your eyes peeled for the sign for The Courtyard Cafe. The breakfasts set you up for the day and the lunches are amazing, I had the homemade quiche with chips and salad which was all homemade by the lovely staff and it was so delicious. Daily specials are also available including teas, coffees and cake. Good size portions, with seating outside for sunny days and very clean inside with plenty of seating. Ample parking available at the village car park just round the corner from the cafe, it’s a really friendly place to relax and so worth a visit. Will be going back again very soon.

46 London Road White Horse Car Park, Maidstone ME16 8QL EnglandMy fella and I usually visit Maidstone a couple of times in the summer, and before we headed off this time I looked up places to eat on Tripadvisor. This place looked a good bet, so we sought it out to try for ourselves and we are very glad we did. What a brilliant place! Not only was the food every bit as good as the reviews promised it would be, but the biggest surprise was the interior - WOW! After walking throught the genteel arcade, the last thing I was expecting was this riot of individualism and colour. As it was only us eating (we were early for lunch...) I took the opportunity to have a good look around and take some photos to share. The lady behind the bar was really friendly, and we were very impressed with the prompt service and the quality / quantity of the food. We will definitely be coming again and would fully recommend this to anyone who enjoys a decent burger at a fair price! :)
