I like York Street ground coffee at the York Street train station. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone to go and have a coffee.

On holiday in the area and found Danny's bar. Craic was just great. Will miss Danny's jokes and the characters we met. Would definitely recommend, and we will return.

Nipped in on a Thursday night in February on way back home from Ballycastle. Haven't been in this bar for years in fact long before it was refurbished. Margo behind the bar was a great host and we enjoyed the banter with her. Bar clean comfortable and toilets spotless. Will call again

An oasis of old world charm in unassuming Ballinamore outside Ballymoney. This rambling cottage is totally charming and huge. There were 10 of us, but it could easily have held 20. Brilliant drawing rooms to sit in (complete with grand piano for a sing along), a fantastic well equipped kitchen ( it used to have a restaurant) and plenty of loos (even if we couldn't find the lights for the one near the kitchen until the eve of our departure.) The wall panels in the front hall tell the fascinating history of the place. The garden is really a series of glades intersperced with thickets leading down to the old mill. What a marvel it would be for children in summertime! Heating seemed good though to be fair it wasn't that cold for early October outside. Our bathroom was good with a power shower which I imagine worked well if you were more familiar with power shower controls, which I wasn't. It was fun trying to work it out anyway. This place is well worth the money if you have a large group.
