Groucho's Cafe Bar in Armagh

We got a recommendation from the local cider makers to go there for food and drinks and we weren't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere with antiques from locals all over the place in a very nice old building. The owner is a very kind and open man who knows a lot about the story of the place. The food is excellent, we went for the vegetarian curry and the goat cheese tartlet with extra mushrooms and cider and ginger ale for drinks. Would recommend to everybody who enjoys the tranquil atmosphere of a small and kind pub.

Was too early for “atmosphere”. Food is nice but very expensive for what you get. £16 for a burger and side?! Hmmm

You would find a better fillet steak, or a pint of fine beers. Their regular gigs 'upstairs' are definitely looking out for.

Wot A beautiful quirky place the place is decorated in history for all ages it is a,well laid out restaurant with low tables and chairs for the kids beside high for the adults the owner took time to great us and explain the history off the bar the menu was well explained out of were he buys all his local products and prices very good ..I have to say the lemon meringue pie was the best ever cant wait to go back well worth a visit

Food is consistently fantastic. The whole team are FOH and kitchen. Each dish we have tried has always been top notch. Chips are fantastic.

My wife and I were here for lunch, while the lunch menu might be limited the food was spectacular, piping hot and full of flavour. The staff were polite and helpful, and bill wasn't too steep. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back

Grouchos is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The service is excellent, staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Food is delicious and the portions sizes are good!! Very quirky little pub with a good selection of local food and drinks. 5* all around

Staff were friendly and nothing was any trouble. Food was perfect. Relaxed cheerful atmosphere which my whole family enjoyed..the youngest being 6 and the eldest 80..we had a great time

Chicken n bacon in white sauce with champ. And salted caramel cheesecake. Was a good feed wasn't to badly priced either. The menu could do with a better selection though.

Amazing staff. They make the best cocktails I've had in northern Ireland and an amazing selection of local craft beers and ciders most local to northern Ireland. Close to Armagh city and on the bus route to Belfast Groucho's is a gem

Had seen the specials menu on facebook and decided to visit for dinner. All the food was amazing, hubby had a dish called the farmyard, steak, lamb, sausage, bacon and egg with chips, i had the sirloin steak, cooked perfectly. Very good value for money and we will be back. The staff were friendly and service was brilliant.

We were in Richill and decided to call in for our tea. Had zingy chicken burger with bacon and cheese and smoky bacon chips and pepper sauce. Prices reasonable. Service was friendly. Overall would go back

Been in many times, but tonight was exceptional..... Mervyn...... your Asian Fish dish with sweet potato fries...... what ever was in it??!! I just don't know... & you want a good report... well.. It was exceptionally excellent!! Peter, you have an excellent team. And to crown it, the apple strudel with clotted cream & custard, & if that wasn't enough, a candle in it & happy birthday played over the speakers. A lovely evening. Thank you one and all!!!

We called in for lunch and had the rib eye dinner, it was absolutely beautiful, velvety well presented and the he meal was so tasty I didn’t know which bit to eat, it was also hot which is a must for me, we will certainly be back

Appalling! ... me and my husband came for lunch one Saturday and his father came along too. I got the salted chilli chicken goujons and chips. Where do I start. The goujons were still red inside they were freezing, there was so salted chilli flavour at all Infact my mouth was very hot. Husband and his father got spuds and steak the spuds where hard and black. Steak was like glue. Wont be back

5 of us went for an early evening meal and were pleased to be able to take advantage of the Early Bird Menu. Our food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I ate twice in this cosy quirky pub and can thoroughly recommend it for fine dining. The first meal there was a 'trio of fish' it was delightful, unique in its presentation.. the second was a pork creation absolutely fantastic. The chef is a talented presenter of food. Clare was extremely helpful and help to make the evenings special

Everything from you walk in until staff food and ambience

Visited on Sat 11th for an evening meal. The main bar was quite crowded as there was football on, but our table round the back was nice and secluded. The service and the meal were faultless. I can't remember when or even if we ever had anything close to it in this entire country. Many thanks, we will be returning here again.

Called in after visiting the apple blossom orchards in the area. Wanted to get a Sunday lunch. Plenty of choice on the menu, including specials. Service was First Class and the staff extremely helpful and pleasant.

Lovely trip to Richhill yesterday with family for Dad’s birthday. Staff were very friendly, service was very prompt & food was very tasty - 4 clean plates and not too expensive - great music club as well with Upstairs On The Square... keep up the great work folks

Groucho's or lyness's as it is locally known was the destination, beautiful dinner, as usual had my steak with all the trimmings, absolutely class feed, gets loads of business from local people, so if passing through definitely call in for bar snack, but if evening meal better to book ahead, parking is good if early enough, if no room outside in the square just park down the main street, it's worth it. Good portions and reasonably priced.
