Really long established old school shop With great friendly service tasty food and reasonably priced . We stop here every time we visit family. The mushy peas are a must !!!!! Highly recommend.

Just came here for the first time ever, and they’re delicious. Proper chips with some colour on them! The fish is probably the best I’ve ever had from a chop shop!

Served by a lovely gentleman. Absolutely lovely chips, fish and peas and great portion size for the price. One of the tastiest fish chips and peas I've had in a while. Would definitely go back / recommend!

This fish & chip shop is a link to my childhood, having first eaten from here over 35 years ago as a child and nothing has changed - it's one of the few traditional menu fish & chip shops left and still tastes as good as ever with very generous portions.

This has been my "go to" Chippy for 30+ years. Nothing else compares. The couple one run it, know their trade. It is spotlessly clean and the portions are massive. These are the best cooked chips and the fish is always fresh melt in your mouth. I have never found any better. Have tried all the others locally and they come nowhere near this standard. Don't waste your time and money elsewhere, this is "the" only one worth a visit!

Stopped today, never been before, best fish and chips we have had for a long time.. Sad to say went back today 8th June after 8 months planned day to have lunch from here checked opening times arrived at 12.45 Closed. Cafe across road called Gilmour Coffee excellent 5 star

Always quality fish and chips here. And they always give the children a mini bag of chips whilst we are waiting.

Always excellent quality. When the kids were little they loved the small bag of a few chips they got while we were waiting for the main order. Exquisite crispy batter on the fish. I like how they wrap the fish in grease proof before the wrapping so that the batter keeps fresh and crisp. Family run business, local and good quality. What more can we say.

Out of all fish and chip and shops in Sheffield my ranking goes like with one being the best 1. greystones fish and chips 2. ranmoor friery at greystones chippy the owners are incredibly friendly, and as a bonus you get very tasty fish and chips. 10/10 would go again.

First time at the chippy in almost ten years after recently moving back to the area and it's even better than I remembered it. The plane hasn't changed a bit but the fish and chips are excellent. The gravy remains out of this world. For me, best chippy around, hands down.

Absolutely disgusting food. Me and my boyfriend went here to look for a nice chippy tea and was left with foul taste in our mouths. The staff was rude and wouldn’t give us our money back after we learnt what we originally ordered they wasn’t making. 3.90 for a cod on its own, and one small chips was over 10 ten pound and wouldn’t give us gravy. Wouldn’t recommended to anybody. Can not understand the good reviews for this ‘chip shop’ !

Good value for money. Quick service. Been here for as long as I can remember. Don't actually know of it has a name.

Tasty, no-nonsense fish and chips. Generous portions. Fair prices. Run by husband and wife team who don't chat much - they just get on with the job! Menu stretches to pies and pop, but not much further. Generally you don't need to queue. If you ask for a haddock, they will fry it to order. It's huge - enough for two.
