Grey Nag's Head in Gateshead

Called in for a drink while waiting for the bus nice and clean good atmosphere very good prices and music

Wasn't there long, stranger on a strange pub, staff were good.not much more I can say

A nice, laid-back spot. I went on a Monday afternoon. There was a beautiful black-haired bartendress in a grey sweater that day - what a smile. They had another girl walking around the bar doing karaoke to some great songs, while encouraging the customers to do the same (for a free shot). Later in the evening the vibe was kinda the same, minus the karaoke girl. There's a good jukebox to make up for that. It gives you like 4 or 5 plays for a pound - sweet!

Spent a lovely Saturday evening here with husband and daughter. It was a karaoke night and there was a great atmosphere.

Great craic and made to feel welcome.

It's nice to go into a bar that hasn't had the heart & soul ripped out of it . Hope it remains untouched by so called designers who don't ask the regulars.

Managed it for a year for tenant at the time good looking bar good beer still original decor high street prices! Meeting place for the heed army gateshead football club well worth a visit.

THEIRS A GOOD DUKE BOX AND COUPLE FRUIT MACHINES ..AND PLASMA TV'S IF ANY SPORTS ON FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED SO IF YOUR IN GATESHEAD AND FANCY A FEW DRINKS IN A GOOD DECENT BAR ..I WOULD RECOMMEND THE NAGS HEAD

A traditional pub in Gateshead high street surrounded by charity shops bookmakers shops and several pawnbrokers There are also boarded up shops nearby giving the area and semi derelict appearance Clientele tend to be locals who stand around outside smoking and adding little to the temptation to enter

New owners ,new manager lovely bar , prices good ,warm,clean,friendly and welcoming.
