Expensive for what it is, nice enough but nothinh ground breaking. £27 for a burrito and some nachos

I love this place and the pancakes are delicious.

The staff was very rude and didn’t shout the numbers loudly. The food was cold when it arrived and they weren’t wearing gloves when preparing the food.

We got a vegetable curry pie and it was cold so then we went back and changed it for a vegan sausage roll and it felt like it had been in the freezer so we just took it and they still charged us more. WHAT IDIOTS DO NOT GO!!!

Today, 15/09/2024, at around 3 PM, I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this shop that left me deeply dissatisfied. I went in to buy 3 burritos, and when I placed my order, the machine did not reflect that the new beef burrito includes onions. I tried to inform the staff about this issue, expecting a simple resolution, but instead, I was met with a level of rudeness and hostility that was completely unacceptable. This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave an online review, and I am appalled by the service I received. The shop was virtually empty, with only three people present: a chef, a lady, and a man who appeared to be in a supervisory role since he was not wearing any uniform. Despite his higher position, this man displayed an astonishingly poor attitude. His behavior was not only dismissive but also shockingly disrespectful. Instead of addressing my concern politely, he treated me like an inconvenience and spoke to me with a condescending and rude tone. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect I encountered was disgraceful. I was made to feel humiliated and disrespected, and it was clear that customer service is not a priority for this establishment. I strongly recommend that you avoid this place altogether. Based on my experience, I have no confidence in their ability to treat customers with the respect and courtesy they deserve. I hope the management takes serious action to address this issue and ensure that no one else has to endure such an unpleasant and degrading experience.

You can eat tortillas, burittos or tacos here. Despite the fact that I was there at lunchtime and there was a lot going on, it went very quickly and the service was very friendly. However, my buritto could have been a little warmer, but maybe everyone likes it a little differently.

One of the best burrito that I've had for a long time. Price is very reasonable as well.

The food is possibly the worst I have eaten, it was lacking any flavour. The price is far too high for what you get, the meal deal isn’t good value at all. Much better options in the same location, blue sign, down the road

Rice is under cooked and inedible

Went at lunchtime a week or so ago. The venue was pretty quiet and I went for a box rather than a burrito. Everything seemed to be a charge up, the included rice beans and meat were all tiny portions and not value for money.

The veggie burrito is top notch. Go large if you're really hungry. Cover that mama in salsa picante and you're set for a banging meal! The guys n gals working here are all sound. Only gripe is the front fridge where the beers and softs are kept. It's definitely on its last legs and keeps drinks at maybe 15 or so degrees? - Can confirm after dining here several times in the last month and having the same ambient temperature beverage each time. I ideally want my cerveza served at a maximum 5 degrees after setting my mouth on fire with a delicious burrito 🤤 Bossman, plz get the fridge sorted and then it's a perfect score from me 👌 ~ Side note: I preferred it when face to face service was an option. Having only the self service machines and no other service option sort of detaches from the experience of watching your beautiful burrito being built, and the many filling options described by the staff. What if I want extra cheese, what if I only want a light dusting in jalapeños? Please don't turn into a Mexican mcdonalds 🙏

We came in 5 minutes before closing, half expecting to be turned away, but to our pleasure we were served a couple of lovely burrito, masterfully crafted by wonderful Aisha. It was the perfect meal to round off our trip to Manchester!

I’ve been to Cali and this ain’t it. It looks good but that’s it. It will fill you up if you get a large and if you don’t care about taste this is for you.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Came on Monday and ordered a chicken burrito, got home after and started feeling really unwell. I’ve been vomiting and have food poisoning for sure over the last two days. Had to call in sick for work and lost a days pay and missed important meetings. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!

Nice food and flavours Some negatives when it comes to customer service though. They didn't inform us about student discount And when I asked about the sunset combo where you can get a side included in the price of the main meal they said my partner has already paid so we can't have the sides as it was too late - not that it would have made any difference as it was same price anyway.

We just popped in randomly as we walked along Oxford Road. We had the Big 'T' and a naked burito. Let's just say that we didn't leave hungry, really tasty and good value. I definitely recommend if you like a Mexican treat.

food is vile, ever since this location stopped being known as "chilango" and was taken over by new management the ingredients are poor quality and the staff have no clue how to wrap a burrito. today is the last time i will be visiting as i was served a gluey paste substance they dared to call "corriander lime rice" it tasted like neither of these things and seemed to be plain rice from a microwaveable packet that had been left in too long. tasted absolutely disgusting, the pinto beans also tasted nasty and i wouldnt be surprised if both are from microwaveable packets. this review wont be up for long as i suspect manager is deleting bad reviews which is why there is so little. If you've been to the tortilla locations in london and are expecting the same don't bother coming here as it is like going from gourmet food to slop created by a toddler.

Nipped in for a quick bite as was stretched for time before going to the Palace Theatre over the road. Very good service, chatty and happy staff, and the food was really good for a casual establishment. The sharing nacho's were the best we've had for ages.

Being a Thursday and the & bank holiday almost upon us again I thought I’d hit a different approach from the usual overnight oats & cheese sammich at my desk which my Cat watches me prepare like a satanical judge every night! Being so close to Oxford street I checked online to what’s nearby and thought maybe a hot tortilla on a cold rainy day would push me through to end of day! Being a indecisive old fool as I am, I was greeted by happy smiles and a selection of different options to which two members of staff who very much ran me through your menu & deals by the names of Hannah & Charlie who were very knowledgeable of the business & I believe had been with the company for some time! I walked away with a naked bowl & some churros just for good measure & the upsell to increase my waste line, the burrito bowl consisting of Coriander rice, Pork, pimento beans and a mountain of guac’ which very much felt like a hug in a bowl! I think I’ve found my match, il be swiping right on the new eateries for lunch and taking her churros home to dip for a second time. Now all I have left to do is explain to my cat why my squished cheese sandwich is now at the bottom of my bag and why it’s home, thanks for getting me in trouble.

"Absolutely dreadful experience! The staff at Tortilla were incredibly rude and unprofessional, particularly Ayesha Ali. My friends and I received no help when one of us simply asked a question about her meal since we all were charged three different prices for the same meal. When we requested to speak to a manager, they seemed clueless about who it was, after initially denying their presence. Appalling service! I will never support this franchise again due to this terrible encounter. And the portions are so tiny! Chipotle wannabees! And no form of compensation whatsoever

Just walked in at 9:10pm and was told they are closed despite being advertised they're open until 9:30pm. Disappointing as visited here frequently but won't be anymore

The only good star is for music! Cons:Only rice and uncooked vegetables, with 2grams of cheese and 2.76grams of chicken and the rest is extra 1.85£ for each gram of something, it's a joke of a burrito

Last time that I came here with my friend, it was a wonderful experience and the tacos were great and fun wonderful and the manager polished gentleman was really nice. Today sadly, When I returned with my friend, the two ladies, who were the only ones working there, prepared some of the skimpiest meals of the Mexican variety that I have ever had. It saddens me to say this, but I do not believe this place is consistently worth money, especially nowadays, if their workers are going to be as little as they do. Sad, sad. Sad

I go to Greggs a lot and today my experience was EXCELLENT Top notch service from the gentleman who served us It was quite busy and service was quick , but the experience stands out due to the service we received - Sorry I cant remember cashier name ,but I would hire him on the spot as he went above to ensure service was GREAT ! Top flavours and affordable food. I loved my burrito bowl. Kudos to Albania (I hope I’m getting her name right) for being so welcoming and friendly. I came in for a bowl on its own and ended up buying a whole meal with churros - all very delicious.

Two of the three tacos were nice, the beef was so salty tho… premises were clean and food was fresh… not the hottest but ….!

I haven't been to this place since it was called chilango. May I say, the burritos are as good as I remembered them, me being south american I've always been surprised the flavours are as authentic as it gets in the UK, very good job. The main star of the show today was the service. The girl that served me today was honestly so warm and plain good at her job what can I say. I haven't received this kind of customer service in a long time. I don't know her name, but she was of Asian background and looked young, very pretty! - if that helps to recognise her!

Visited Tortilla as an alternative to a usual outlet. A new firm favourite, very pleasant/friendly greeting and swift service. Two v generous burritos served for takeaway, still warm on arrival at home (30mins). Ingredients appeared to be fresh and cooked through, no complaints. Great value and delicious 😊

First time visiting and it was okay! Ordered 3 tacos for £8 and they were tasty but very messy. It seemed you could make the meal quite expensive with the additional cost for things like the beef or the avocado.

Taste of the food was good but the rice in our burrito were undercooked and when we complained about it, they said the batch can't be re-cooked. They somewhat didn't accept that it was undercooked but gave us a free voucher.

Best burrito ever, good variety, more variety than chipotle extra Smokey corn cobs, a squeeze of lime on my steak, black bean, guac burrito. Then the extra naughty chorizo and cheese sauce.

Started going here after listo massively reduced portion size. Burritos here are big and the beef is way better. Chorizo bits are class aswell. Only thing that Listo has over it is the sauces. If you could have tortilla with the sauce options from Listo you'd have the perfect burrito

Portion size is excellent in comparison to Listo Burrito. This would be a 5 star review if there was a range of sauces, which is where Listo excels. The loyalty program is also noteworthy.

Freezing cold fast food eatery with music so loud you can't hear the staff when ordering. Service was poor. No offer of salad with my burrito bowl - had to explicitly ask for onions to be added. Everything was an upsell. Food tasty enough. The only thing that stands out is just how lacking everything else was. Not sure I'd go back, at least to this location.

One of the best spots in Manchester - great for a quick lunch (very tasty burritos; highly recommend the guacamole) and always clean-looking plus some good tunes too! Shoutout to Alby who consistently never fails to deliver and show up. Makes the trip to Manchester’s Tortilla all the worthwhile!
