Greggs in Manchester

I visit this Greggs often on my way to work and it's nice to see the same staff each time. Everyone is very friendly and I appreciate the service they offer. It's very nice to get in at the right time and get a nice warm vegan sausage roll.

I spotted a Greggs cafe near Piccadilly Station and thought it would be the perfect spot to grab a coffee to go. Even though it was a small place, it was packed! The staff were friendly and super quick, and the coffee I got was delicious.

Came in ur store 11/7/24 and only came in to get a drink and whilst trying to scan my app the team member thought they would also pay for their own food and scan their app before they had even finished their transaction with me. Disappointed in the service.

Asked for a coffee fast AF. They didn't disappoint. Quality is Greggs quality so you know what to expect.

Was closed on Sunday 18th February for no reason. I couldn't enjoy my post-train pasty before hitting the pubs.

Great staff and fast speedy service. Line was out the door and it only took 2minutes to get to the front of queue.

Greggs just needs knocking down, bland boring brand with terrible food, awful ingredients.

Manager had no care or interest listening to customers feedback. Tuna and onions just slopped in the middle.

Bin full, all mess, food cold, need more to improve. The 2 guys there are so polite.

All the time I got there the food is cold pay you still full price that not worth it I go everyday but food cold not hot you paying full price

Every time I come to England, I eat here for breakfast or lunch. Everything here is baked fresh daily. The customer service is outstanding. I always get a baguette warmed. The food is so good and delicious. However, at this location they do not have an oven to warm your food. I recommend this location if you do not want your food warmed. I highly recommend all Gregg's locations that can warm your food.

Food not remotely warm. Immediately threw out

Had a chicken bacon baguette. The baguette was not baked it was pure white, could not eat it. The baguette had not been in a oven! Sun 28 may.

First time visiting this branch near Piccadilly train station. Place is quite small, very busy (during lunch hour) but clean. Staff were in a 'rush' mode but were friendly. I went to claim my birthday sweet treat which was a Triple Chocolate Muffin - the very last one which must have been quite popular. It was delicious with unexpected gooey chocolate in the middle. Indulging! Thank you for the birthday treat.

Freezing cold pizza and wraps and literally no interaction from the guy serving me 22:06 on Mon 22nd May, didn’t care in slightest when I commented on them been cold. Only came in for a hot meal. I’ll never be shopping from Greggs ever again!!!! Extremely poor customer service and freezing cold pastries!!!

Been here many times on my way to work and each times I’ve purchased a “hot” pastry they’re always cold. I’ve asked for it to be heated but the staff always responded with “they’re out from the oven”. They must’ve baked it in a cold oven 🤷🏻‍♀️ Terrible service

A good location if you want a brew on the way to the station, if you visit don't expect to get a smile or any enthusiasm, the team that work there don't seem like they want to be there

If you like lukewarm food and indifferent staff this is the place for you.

Good service and good value. No sign of opening anytime soon and should of opened 1 hour 20 minutes ago, unfortunately this is a regular occurrence.

Visited thr greggs outside of Manchester picaddilg recently didn't take a picture because I am very busy. Greegs always make thr best pasties, sausage rolls and sandwiches at very affordable prices. I always enjoy the time spent at my local Greggs.

£1.65 for a COLD Steak Bake. This would be over priced if hot but it also tasted like it had been out more than the 90 minutes the store had been open. The 4am opening is the places only plus point.

Staff are disorganised teenagers. Coffee and bacon served cold.

The staff are generally friendly and most of the time they are well stocked. The only downfall to this particular store was that on my last visit they never told me that they didn’t have any sausage rolls left until after I placed my order and paid. I then had to wait for 10-15 minutes for the sausage rolls to be cooked and then the staff forgot my actual order and kept asking what I wanted to order again (despite paying and being told to stand in the corner). They weren’t particularly busy and there was only myself and the odd person in store on this day. With the store being so close to the train station, it would be good to check with the customer if they are able to wait 10-15 minutes beforehand. Other than that, it was clean, tidy and set out well.

The best staff and the best Gregg's in Manchester. They're all so quick and efficient and the service is first class. Especially a guy called Raj and a girl called Millie or Mollie. Everyday they are full of the joys of spring in a very busy environment.

you can always rely on greggs.. sausage rolls are the way forward in life! not beaten anywhere else yet!

Greggs perfect place for breakfast and coffee and bap deals can't be beaten really hits the spot plus they open from 6 am

Quick service but cold food, disappointed

I visited Manchester Piccadilly station Gregg's. I asked for a bacon and egg barm. The lady walk to get my items to make the barm and used her hands to peace it together with no gloves on her hands had pen marks all over them she was taking cash off other customers ect. Now there is a pandemic on at the moment. Im writing this as a way to maybe improve things I didn't make a fuss I just left paid for my barm and put it in the bin. This is quite serious as Manchester is in tier three and your member of staff is probably spreading the virus from person to person. As well as not following the food safety training she has probably undertaken.wont be visiting again. Shocking.

One of the best branches and the staff there are amazing! .. look for Karen in the mornings, she's a blast :-)

Nice bacon butty and brew for a cracking price

Stopped here for a refill of tea in my own beaker and a delicious salad and ham roll. Good value, quick, loyalty points for my hot drink and always a good quality. Very efficient. Cheaper than food in the train station.

Service is slow in a morning. Too many staff stood around or on break. Only staff members that know what they are doing and provide great service are Louise, Courtney and Sallie. Time they had 1 person making coffees and 3 staff serving

OK great morning sausage or bacon rolls but the person serving and handling the food, no food prep gloves and then dealing with the money puts m off a bit. I can deal with the no food prep gloves but someone should be just dealing with the till side of things instead of handling your food and then handling money.

Such a nice,cozy,friendly store. Everything is tasty and absolutely fresh. Nothing to complain about and tbh can’t really get why such a store has only 4 stars .

Oh on a chilly day like today theres nothing better than a hot sausage roll to fill you up in the morning. This place gets busy so be ready to que.

its the usual bog standard pasties and bakes with sandwiches n cakes. the service is fast and they never seem to run out of stuff which is a bonus when its later

We found out that there are many Greggs branches around town here. This particular outlet (on the Piccadilly Station approach) happened to be nearest to our hotel. No seating area in this one (some other do have it) but reasonably priced cappuccino's and sandwiches to go. The almond croissants were yummy.

This is a very good place for a takeaway Sandwich to take with you on your train journey.Its very reasonably priced and they have a great selection of sandwiches and drinks.Just be warned though.It get very busy here so be prepared for a line up.

Good store fresh food friendly staff

Very poor service. 4 staff behind the counter and 2 people waiting to b3 served. 1 of whom was myself. I left empty handed after 10 minutes. I haven't got all day...

staff are so helpful and always there to have a chat and a giggle.theres a seating area inside and is close to all the other shops.theres a bus staiton,coach station,train staion and a tram station nearby ( in walking distance).

Well what can I say Greggs is Greggs the hot food is either cold or burnt and the cold food has very little filling for the price you pay!!!!!

Always friendly, and most of the time quick service when there is more than one person serving, Gareth always greets with a smile, and quite chatty whilst he serves, so I use this Greggs more than the others, it's handy for work to :-)

I have been here many times. This is only a small Greggs without the seating you find in some outlets these days. Price wise it is reasonable considering it is next to Piccadilly Train Station. Food and drink is of a decent standard and service...

Service was straight forward and friendly. Food was acceptable, as expected for an establishment of this type. Everything was good, no hesitation to return.

Its a Greggs what more can you say ??? I find the staff are very friendly and its in a great location but the peak time queues can be ridiculous to the point where I just cant be bothered.

There is always a queue straight out the door every morning, could do with more staff or tills. Better off with the Greggs further down the road away from the station.

Staff are efficient but the later on you go then you run the risk of a cold pasty!

Clearly very popular as its always very busy especially on a Saturday afternoon. Despite being next to a busy train station, staff are efficient and service is fast although impersonal and somewhat rude at times. The prices are high compared to years past. I remember buying a meat and potato pasty from here in 2000 for 35p. They now cost over £1. I know there's inflation but a 350% price increase within 15 years is just greed.
