I have no complaints about the food but the guy who takes your order is bloody rude that's two weeks now his attitude is disgusting he needs to be trained on customer care it's us that pays his wages

Got to say very average meal. Ordered special curry no prawn extra hot egg fried rice. Usually in my experience every Chinese takeaway main comes in a long container with rice in a small one...this was reversed..Food came within 4 minutes...got to say more like a biryani or special fried rice but bland

Once again I enjoyed my meal so much. I had delivery and was the best food I had eaten for a long time. I enjoyed every morsel and the seaweed is tops. Love love loved it. Will definitely have again.🌹

My fiancé and I have been ordering from Great Wall since we moved to Bracknell 3 years ago and have since become regulars. The food and service is always incredible and we are always greeted with a warm welcome from the staff! We wouldn’t choose anywhere else and would 1000% recommend!

Been using this place on and off for many years. It's not my "go to" Chinese, as my fave is in Birch Hill, but it's competent and consistent. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are good. Alan who answers the phone is always welcoming. If you are collecting during peak times, getting a parking space can be a battle as there are 2 other takeaways and convenience stores in the parade. Recommended place though, the Kung Po is my favourite dish from them.

My family have been using The Great Wall for about 15 years now and it's our 'go to' take away. The food is always consistently tasty and delicious, the service is polite and efficient and everything is piping hot in a short space of time. They do a delivery service which has always been on time and trouble free and unlike many Chinese takeaways, they take card payments both in the shop and over the phone. I highly recommend the delicious chicken in black bean sauce. This is a little oasis in a desert and I highly recommend it.

Decided to treat ourselves this evening for the 1st time in almost a year. As always, they failed to disappoint!I was told that delivery would be approx 40 mins and it was delivered 25 mins later, piping hot and absolutely scrumptious, by a really nice, happy, friendly chap who was the definition of service with a smile.Well done Great Wall for yet another great dining experience!!!

Only ordered Chinese from here for years after having so many bad experiences before, always amazing food always hot with so much flavour. Polite man who always answers the phone is continuously taking calls for hours credit to him for always being so friendly. Also lovely delivery drivers. Definitely the best Chinese in Bracknell.

I valve never had a Chinese takeaway with so little taste. The spicy dish most certainly wasn't. My son doesn't like spicy food and even he said it wasn't hot.I have also never had fried rice dripping with oil, but I did today.The ribs were very dry and chewy.On the up side, the printer balls were OK. That's what elevated the score from terrible to poorI shan't be going back

Had a takeaway last night as my partner said it was the best Chinese she had usedSo I was looking forward to our meal Ordered chicken curry Big lumps of very dry chicken and very thin sauce could not eat it Crispy chilli beef tasted ok but no sign of any beef ?? Egg fried rice hard to see any egg in itQuarter of duck it was so dry Could not eat itOne dish was good prawn and mangetoutIt must have been the chefs night offAnd the kitchen Porter was cooking So I will not use them again Had egg on toast at least it tasted ✅

Firstly the positives, the man on the phone was very polite and the elderly delivery driver was a lovely guy and extremely friendly. The food arrived quickly and was hot. Sadly, the food quality and care put in was yet again pretty terrible:Fried rice was ok although portion smallSweet and Sour chicken balls undercooked with the most tiny peaces of chicken inside, some balls didn't even have chicken in they where just undercooked batter balls. Chilli Beef strips did not contain any beef, just crispy bits of batter. Sweet and Sour prawn (hong kong style) batter again undercooked and stodgy. Sweet and sour sauce was watery. Bracknell and Ascot as a whole is severely lacking in decent chinese takeaways, sadly not a single one locally is good. If just one would open thats good quality then it will give the rest locally a major shake-up.This will be my very last visit at Great Wall, the meal was a huge rip-off and did not enjoy at all. Local people across Bracknell deserve better than this.If you do really fancy a chinese in future, best thing is buy the stuff from Marks and Spencer half the price but superb quality and tastes much better than the local takeaways.

This was our first time trying this Chinese takeaway as so many people said how good it is, well I’m disappointed the special rice was hard, the roast chicken was rubbery and tasteless, and the chow mein was tasteless, the only thing that was nice was the beef in black bean sauce. I don’t think I would return

Have been using the Great Wall for years and always been impressed until last night. Not only was the mixed starter missing the mini veg spring rolls but the rest was cold. The sweet and sour chicken looked and tasted like it had been reheated and the rice was stodgy. Very disappointed and won’t be revisiting for a while. Delivery wait was also well over an hour.

Just ordered from here after reading the reviews. Thought we would make our own mind up and glad we did. Ordered chilli peanut chicken, chick curry, chow mein, rice, veg spring rolls and crackers. All really good! The only thing I can say is the chicken in the curry was a little dry and could have been better but it was very edible. Parts were a little greasy but what Chinese isn’t. It’s a thumbs up from us and would really recommend the chilli peanut chicken.

First time at great wall. Not impressed. Food looked awful, greasy and tasteless. Wouldn't go there again. Also delivery took an extra 35 minutes than predicted time.

Ribs were tasteless and tough. Chow mein was minging, ready meal takeaways are better. In the bin where it deserves to be. Bought another chinese from chef Peking in Finchamstead, soooo much better. Taste fresh and nice. Go there, not here.

This Chinese has been around for many years same owners and used to be decent food. I have not been for a while due to being disappointed the last few occasions. Decided to give them ago again but will not be going again. The food is over priced, tasteless and definitely not value for money. Filled with more vegetables that anything to pack the dish out. Far better Chinese takeaways just outside of the town that I will be sticking to.

I have had takeaway from more Chinese restaurants than I care to admit, from several different parts of the country and Great Wall beats them all in pretty much every area.I fairly regularly have big orders when family visit (e.g. 9-16 dishes) and I have never had to wait more than 20minutes from the time I have ordered to the time I have collected - usually it is only 10-15 minutes.Given than I have ordered literally hundreds of dishes in total from Great Wall, I have only had 1 mistake in 1 order, which they offered to have the correction delivered and refunded me the cost.Every main dish I have tried from here is much better than their counter part dishes I have tried from other restaurants, something which my family all keenly agree with.I can recommend the crispy chilli chicken; sweet/sour chicken HK style; fried duck in plum sauce; kung pao chicken; chicken satay skewers - but to be honest I haven't disliked any dish I have tried here yet.The only vaguely negative thing I have to say in ~3 years I have been getting takeaway from here is that during peak time it can sometimes be a pain to get through on the phone, despite them having two separate phone lines.

First time ordering from Great Wall and I was impressed with the quality of the food, tasted very fresh and well cooked.One major criticsm is the lack of rice. The container wasn't even half full and it was seriously lacking in meat despite being special fried rice.

We have never had a bad dish here, everything is always spot on and so flavoursome. We never go anywhere else for a Chinese as this is the best takeaway in Bracknell

What a shame!!! Really disappointing meal tonight. Thai red curry with pineapple, peppers and no coconut milk. Not authentic. Capital spare ribs so tough we couldn’t eat them and the duck was so crunchy, we obviously got the old stuff. Threw it away. Phoned up to tell them. They weren’t interested. Will never have a meal from them again. We went to them a lot. But no more.

Stayed in Ascot for a few days and we fancied a Chinese takeaway one night. We tried this place as not many Chinese takeaway’s in the area.

This place has been great! So good I always want to call and say thank you and well done to the staff for a quality meal! Pork in plum sauce is a must!!

After Hyns in Ascot closed I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese Takeaway and almost given up. A good friend suggested Great Wall and she was not wrong ! I can finally start to enjoy Chinese food again. Thanks Great Wall .

We order from here regularly for our Chinese takeaway. Food is always spot on! Delivered hot and always correct! Staff always really friendly when we phone to order. Highly recommend and will continue to use!

Chilli beef basically contained no beef but had a strong taste of fish, the chicken balls very small and totally undercooked which included the batter that was not crispy and you could taste the batter liquid inside, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style was ok but again tasted undercooked.

We normally use a different restaurant, in Bracknell but it was closed. So we thought we’d try China Wall, we really enjoyed it and will be using this take away from now on. Great size portions & cooked to Perfection. 10 out of 10

Was visiting a friend in Earley near Reading, fancied a Chinese takeaway, but was told there were no good Chinese Takeaways in Earley, unlike Harmans Water.

Can be really nice food, unfortunately it's getting to the point, where they need to update and alternate the meals/dishes since some of their other competitors are over taking them over with their wide vary of selection of food choices, for the same price. Also they need to add proper chunky chips, to dip in a more spicy curry sauce.

New to the area I thought ”I'm gonna give this Chinese a go”. Unfortunately the man behind the till was a bit wooden minded (to be kind).

This Chinese without a doubt is the best Chinese in Bracknell and surrounding areas, the food is well prepared and tastes excellent. You only have to try and call them on a Friday or Saturday night to see how busy they actually are, best venture down and order in shop if not you may have a.long wait to get through to speak with someone, call handlers are very good and helpful.

Some what concerned my food was delivered within, 20minutes from order and the take away is 8 minutes drive away. This was Apparent when the prawn toast was entirely shrivelled up and clearly not recently cooked, obviously yesterdays left overs as was the crispy duck which was simply black crispy embers. A real shame as we always use this place and the customer services of the man on the phone is excellent.

Always a good meal. We are Regular customers order two or three times a month. We always have a delivery takes around 35 to 45 minutes to arrive, always nice and hot. Good service.

4th time I’ve ordered from these guys, not been disappointed yet. Been using another local Chinese for the last 10 years but have switched to Great Wall due to fat superior food. I would highly recommend them.

Keep in mind if you call Fri or Sat 7pm you will wait an hour or so for your delivery, but this is just because they are busy and have many people calling for delivery.

Whenever we have a take out from here the food is always great. Usually fast too, we phone up before hand and order and it's only about a 10/15 minute wait.

La comida está bien, promedio para lo que cabría esperar de un chino. El servicio de atención al cliente pueden ser bastante pobres (como han mencionado en otras críticas) y más de un par de veces tienen nuestra orden equivocada (y han sido muy indignadas!).

We have used this Chinese takeway, infrequently, for the last 6 years or so. The food and service have always been average and we have never felt need to applaud nor complain.However on ordering a meal earlier this week and specifically asking for no grated fish on one of the dishes, this was not adhered too. A polite telephone call was made and I was told to simply scrape the fish off!!! not great when one member of the party is a vegetarian!!!

Have had many take aways from here and it's as good as the Haka in easthampstead . The staff a very friendly and the set menus offer good value for money and the food is nice and hot

I ordered a delivery after a long hard day at work. Put my order in at 21.08. Told it would be 30-40 mins. Waited and waited. Rang them again at 22.08 to be told it's on its way. Still nothing at 22.14 so had no choice but to cancel. Losing them money and I had to make to add!

We stay in Bracknell often, and on most occasions get a delivery from the Great Wall, as the food is good, and delivered on time. However, a very different story last night! We ordered at 6.15, food eventually arrived at 7.40!!! We had an estimate of 45 - 50 mins when we ordered. Despite many calls to the takeaway, speaking to "Alan" who merely told me they were very busy, and I was holding him up by enquiring where our order was, and he had other customers to deal with. The delivery driver confirmed that the food had not even left the takeaway until 7.15! We had paid by debit card over the phone when we ordered, so don't know if it was the fact they had our money, so we didn't constitute a priority, or they basically took on much more than they could fulfill. If " Alan " had been honest when we called originally, we would have probably made other arrangements, but they had our money. Food was good as always, but customer service was appalling.

We visited this takeaway on Saturday evening, it wasn't busy and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Sadly the food was dreadful. Flavourless, bland and gloopy. We were so disappointed as this was recommended by friends who use this a takeaway quite frequently. I guess we all have bad evenings but I wont risk it again.

I first moved to Bracknell 17 years ago and tried all the local takeaways to see which to go with.Dragon House in Birch Hill got my vote and I had used them ever since for my Chinese food fix. However they have put their prices up and up quite a bit recently to the point where they are now about 30% up on 7 years ago.For this reason I decided to try some others again and, boy am I glad I did. The Great Wall simply does better food (curries I may give to Dragon House, but they lose on pretty much everything else!) coupled with the fact that it is considerably cheaper by comparison now and therefore scores a double triumph.

Admittedly, the woman on the other end of the blower could do with a customer service overhaul as she's pretty impatient and not overly helpful. In fairness when you go and collect your grub, she's good as gold. Anyway, all that aside, the food is absolutely out of this world! Never had a bad dish! The quality is unreal, and I particularly recommend the Chicken Satay Skewers. For me, by far the best Chinese I've had.

We have been using this place for a few months, tonight they decide they don't deliver to us and the "apparent" manageress decides to be rude and not even come in the phone to explain herself. Won't use them again!!

I have ordered on a number of occasions from the Great Wall and the food is very good for a Chinese take away. I always have a collection and mainly go for a set menu and at £16.00 for two people is of good value! I usually swop one dish for another and this has never been a problem too. For take away Chinese food I would recommend.
