Granny Annie's Bar & Kitchen in Fermanagh

I went here a few weeks ago with a couple of friends for a Saturday night meal. Food was okay - nothing out of this world. Drinks took quite a while to come when we had just ordered soft drinks and a couple of pints. The overall service in this establishment was not great the two girls that served us most of the night were lovely but the bar man with the facial hair was horrendous. Never came across service like it before. Didn’t have much of an interaction with him he had just brought our drinks up, threw the tray more or less on the table and slammed the drinks down in the table and stormed away off. He ended up also bringing up our bill which we asked for from our server but she must have been busy, thankfully we had ate at this point because with the obvious lack of hygiene this guy goes by was extremely off putting if he was our server don’t think we would have been able to stick around for the meal! From overheating conversations think his name was jordyn

Manager Megan was very rude and did not want to listen. We asked for a table at the top, however we were put at a very small table, when asked could we have any of the other empty tables, with no reserve signs she raised her eyes, and brought us down to the bar. Megan threw our menus on the table , did not ask if we were happy with the seat, and did not ask if we wanted a drink. Megan walked away and no staff member attended to us for sometime. We left and went to another restaurant in the town. Will not return.

Popped for a spot of lunch , staff were lovely & friendly but unfortunately food wasn’t. Soup & chowder to start , both only ok & not very hot . Steak ciabatta was served on one slice of dry sourdough bread , greasy onion ring & warm skinny fries ., chicken chorizo pasta, barely any chicken . The only saving grace was our lovely sweet young server . She was so polite & sweet, pity about the food .

Great friendly service and excellent food. The decor was fun and quirky. Loved it. I had the salmon with leek sauce which was cooked to perfection. Whoever was chef that day (Sat) knew their stuff. Husband had steak pie and loved it. Excellent job.

Came in on Saturday for drinks for a friends birthday Terrible customer service from one memeber of staff in paticular rest of them were great but the oldest girl with the brown hair had an awful attitude and not one ounce of customer service, everyone around us were talking about her actions and also swore to a girl next to us ,will not be back

An amazing find in Enniskillen. Great food reasonably priced, super service and superb interior. Will definitely be back.

Floors sticky and food lying over floors. Table sticky anc left over food on it. Wrong order arrived. No hand soap in toilets. Disgusting place would love a hygiene rating done by council.

20 minutes stood waiting at bar, staff had seen me, yet ignored me in favour of serving others who hadn't waited. Extremely ignorant. Will not be returning

We visited Granny Annies on Boxing Day and really liked the food. They were honest about the wait time and we didn’t mind as it. We were happy that they were open. For food we got chicken curry with rice and chips and it was tasty. Thank you!

Love the food but I always find the glasses are dirty. Staff are friendly and the decor is brilliant. Very interesting place to eat.

The food was great but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the company of the friends we were meeting to the full extent as the volume of the live singer was turned up to an obscene level. We mentioned to waiting staff and they agreed and said they could barely hear people's orders but were not allowed to decrease the volume. Left with sore throats from having to shout to communicate. Wouldn't recommend this for a meal unless you're eating alone. We also noticed a number of groups / couples come in, sit down to look at the menu, then leave when they realised the volume of the music would prevent them from conversing.

Just had lunch here, very friendly staff and top class food. Lovely atmosphere and very handy for parking also. And very dog and child friendly also.

Tue 21st. My partner had Roast Beef lunch & diet coke. I had Small Chicken Caesar salad & tea. Mine was delish with loads of tasty chicken and bacon pieces and a very tasty salad. The Roast Beef was hot and delicious with very tasty vegetables, mash and Yorkshire Pudding..Clean plates all round..Orla took great care of us so we'll be back.

Visiting Enniskillen and came for food and a drink was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but the food was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great evening, would highly recommend

Visited today for a Sunday lunch and had another amazing experience. Every time we have been here for the roast it has been really really good. We both had the turkey and ham and it was delicious, so fresh and the gravy was the highlight of the meal. The waitress who served us was so friendly, smiley and helpful too. We will be back almost every weekend hopefully! Thank you :)

The new bar staff who greated us is a great lad very friendly. Pub is very quirky lots of things to look at and talk about. Service was a bit all over the place at one point. We arrived before 3 other tables and they got served first. I'm sure the server did it because he put us on a tiny table which was uncomfortable and we moved, I think this annoyed him. That being said the lad could have just been going through a bad day. The table needed a wipe over but it wasn't too dirty. the food as in the picture came to £33.50 ish and that was with 2 soft drinks. The fish and chips my wife said was very tasty and she enjoyed her meal. I got the steak in Guinness with roast veg and champ. Very very rich and tasty meal 😋 very well executed and presented. The food was hot and we didn't wait long for it to arrive. 💯 recommend Granny Annie's and we will be returning.

Ìmstaff need to be more attentive. We had to ask for knives and forks and husband had to go to bar to order drinks. We weren't asked did we want pudding or got a menu for puddings

What a great place. The decorations are just fab tables n the ceiling, beds on walls, tires in toilets. Excellent decor indeed Gluten free menu is good but no other allergies listed. Dedicated fryer for fries. Vinegar is nit gf. Had the curry which was good chip shop curry sauce Felt very safe for coeliacs

Food was over cooked and burned but the waitress Nicole was so lovely to us all as we went for a family meal but where overly disappointed.

So unbelievably disappointed in the service/management here. Food was never even put into the system, we waited for an hour and then the reaction from management was dismissive and so subpar. I’d highly recommend going somewhere else if you actually want your food to arrive or for management to care about their customers at all.

Good food at normal prices. Interesting decor.

When my mum and myself entered the premises, we were seated by a female member of staff and given menus. She then disappeared and never came back. About 10 minutes later two young girls came in and were seated by a male member of staff who proceeded to take their drinks order. We were still sitting waiting. When he returned with their drinks, I had to call him over and ask if we could order a bottle of wine. We sat another 10 mins waiting on our wine which the server had on a tray at the bar, but was too busy chatting to barman to be bothered to bring it to us. Was on the verge of walking out when we eventually got our wine. When the food arrived it was actually quite good. Burger and chips tasty and good size portion. Unfortunately the service let's this place down

The food was fabulous - goujons for me and the steak pie for my partner. The staff are very pleasant, food is great value for money. I highly recommend Granny Annie's 👌

I came to have a seafood chowder and I was very disappointed. Only shells and not a bit of fish. Rather tasteless, I didn't finish it. I must say if that would have been my first chowder in Ireland, I will never have tried again (which would have been a shame as it was my favorite dish during my trip). Sad, because the decoration of this (chain) restaurant is pretty good. My table was also very sticky....

Considering it was a quiet night, i saw customers often waiting for service, staff were friendly but not very efficient. Venue had a good vibe and the band playing 'string empire' were superb.

Food was delicious staff were very friendly great atmosphere and old time relics around the place will definitely be back

This place requires a hige clean up. Pity really its so ramshackle the food and service were top class. Chairs with stains table sticky I could go on but I will leave it at that. Stay away if you like a nice clean place to dine

Went to GA with my best friend, as Kamals was closed, on Monday night. I had fasted all day and was starving. A beautiful striking restaurant inside,.but my vegetarian curry was the worst I ever got in my life. It was inedible in fact, no flavour except a nasty curry taste,.and I left it all. The waiter didn't ask if I enjoyed my meal, and when I paid the bill for two of us (£50) I felt I had been robbed. Definitely won't be going back.

They coped well with a 13 person group of walk in. 5 adults with 8 children

Interesting place, whacky but excellent decor, check out the toilets, unfortunately I didn't take photo. Food was excellent, service was great too. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Enniskillen, I want to try the roast next time

We were staying in Enniskillen over the half term break ate here on the Thursday night pretty decent,enjoyed the craic at the karaoke the compare was brilliant,Friday night its any double for a £5 and two cocktails for a £10 up to 11pm,keep an eye on the time normal prices after 11pm,live music on the Friday night really good as well.

Sooooooo good! Roast beef dinner with all the trimmings, tasty and tender, burger enormous and delicious! Another time here again. Food delicious and staff very pleasant and friendly. Had cocktails this time to and really uplifting!

Went here as a group of 4. Two of us are gluten free and I'm also vegan. I mentioned this at the start and we were given one menu. There was only one vegan option as the tomato soup wasn't vegan. So with little choice, I had the vegan burger with fries. At no point was I told there was no vegan mayo, as advertised. If I'd have been allergic to tomato sauce (as I have numerous food intolerances) it would have been a very dry burger indeed! Only when I inquired, was I informed there wasn't any...too late for us to go elsewhere at that point. My friend had grilled chilli chicken pitta or something. She couldn't eat it. The other three tried it and agreed, you couldn't taste the chilli as there was a strong taste and aftertaste of charcoal. Was the grill so filthy? I can only wonder as I looked at the lighting above me, and all the others, disgusting with thick dust. After complaining to management, the side of onion rings was taken off our bill - and being gluten free, I didn't have any. So I saw no benefit. As my friend was looking at reviews after the fact, she saw another menu with sandwiches on available until 4pm. Seen as we visited at lunchtime and only wanted something light, it seemed unfair that we didn't get to see this menu. Another up selling tactic? We definitely wouldn't come here again. And I wouldn't recommend it. We should have walked out after we saw a soup being returned as it was served cold. While the decor is funky, unusual and a bit strange. It's cluttered dust gathering and not great to be eating in. If you can't clean what the customer sees, are you cleaning what we can't see?

I will keep it short and clear:" dirty , dusty , messy place. Unreal how much dust its all over and the dishes and cutlery are disgusting".

We visited on a rainy weekday and needed a place to eat with kids. This was recommended by the bartender at the Dev (where we went first but learned they didn’t serve food). I would not recommend Granny Annie’s if you like real food. The food we ate seemed pre-prepared (ie frozen pizza for the kids), overly salty, lacking flavour. Seafood chowder seemed like it came from a can. The décor is super weird and the whole place seemed grungy and dated. Our server was ok and the football match was on the tv, so that was nice to distract us. We later chatted with a local who happened to work here and when we mentioned we went there she laughed and asked, “sorry, was it quite sh!t”?! And I had to say, yes it was….

Disgusted with how my friend and I were treated this evening by the General Manager, Megan. This will come as no surprise as her name is already plastered all over the internet because of her disgusting customer service skills, or lack of(!) and her rude behaviour. I was refused service because I am an ex-employee? One who gave a weeks notice and was dismissed on the spot effective immediately which is ILLEGAL for a start. The staff in here are forced to work under ridiculous standards and she doesn't care about general food safety and hygiene; we were told to continue serving drinks as normal with a full blown fly infestation in our glasswash and bar, and told to check the ice while making and handing out drinks, rather than stop using the machine altogether. Sewage water has been coming to surface underneath one dishwasher for weeks, before I even started, and she has refused to acknowledge this being a problem because it would require making an effort to fix. No bar training - not even basic till training - for most staff, yet expected to work as normal and accept all the quirks that come with working in a bar. I had to close completely alone as a newcomer which is dangerous when half the doors don't even lock properly. It's all about money with her. Lazy, rude, unprofessional and totally disgraceful. Not surprised about the high turnover seeing as I had current ANd old staff, both in the bar AND kitchen, warn me about her the whole time I worked there. Massive red flag. I will never step foot in there again and would recommend others to do the same and spend your money elsewhere.

Did not get the best service. Constantly told I had leave the tables after ordering and was even held at by a waitress I don’t know if she was stressed but it’s a 1 star from me and will never advise anyone to go here or ever come back Toured Belfast and it’s the one place that I got terrible service from.

Popped in for some food on a saturday afternoon. Came through the downstairs door and found a table. Took a while for staff to notice us. Husband went up to get menus. Had the highchair nearby and got the baby all set up for his seat. Really good high chair, as he was sitting at the same level as us and there was a long table on it. Food was delish. Had the 'Hen burger', it was massive and tasted unreal! Hubby had the chorizo pasta and said it was lovely too.

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Big hard inedible chunks of batter. Kids pizza was tiny and worse than the cheapest frozen supermarket pizza.

Very smelly and terrible service! Walked in today and asked for a table was told to sit down and after about ten minutes staff still hadn’t handed us a menu so walked out, was one girl at bar polishing cutlery and another two talking while us and another table sat there with no menus. Tables and floors were filthy also! Disgusting place.

Nice staff and quirky place but let down a bit by the food quality. It was OK but we had nicer meals during our visit to Enniskillen. The kids agreed re: the kids menu.

Met the manager Megan. She was utterly rude, disrespectful and shouted and belittled a family for letting a nearly 18 year old tasting a drink. She then snapped the drink (which was my uncles who is an older gentleman) clean out of his hands and he had to try to reason to get it back. She screamed at the whole group of us and said we were not welcome back. She then sat herself at the table next to us saying she will now be keeping an eye on us. If she had of come over and told us quietly about the situation we would have not let her taste any more and apologised. But instead she embarrassed all of us shouting us out of the building, and there were several groups around us. I will not be back again in this establishment unless they get new management who know how to treat people and not go off on a power trip.

In with family and the general manager megan was just down right rude. So disrespectful raising her voice and took the drink out of our hand shouting that we are to leave and we aren’t welcome back. She sat and watched us yelling that a 17 year old could not have a sip of a dink with her own mother when she is 18 next month. This woman should not be allowed to work in customer service with such bad manners and no respect.

What an awful experience I just had. I was in with my 2 sons we are quite regular visitors for out Tea, but I will never put a foot thru the door again. I ordered battered fish, it arrived quick enough no complaint there. As I lifted my fork and knife after sorting the 2 kids out the server asked me was all OK I said yes as hadn't even started to eat. Cut into fish and discovered a huge bit if grey tough fish/skin totally inedible. I put it aside until I could get attention of a server, who took it to kitchen... this is when things really took turn for worst a lady who didn't introduce herself but whom I'm assuming was some sort of supervisor appeared beside me no apology and with a very accusatory tone told me that I said food OK when asked... explained I hadn't had a chance to eat at that point she went on to tell me about the fish supplier having been changed due to complaints.... and still no apology when I told her that the bit I had been given was certainly not good.... she walked away from table without acknowledgement of my dissatisfaction. Bad service and bad food do yourself a favour and stay away from this place.

AVOID!!! After a graduation, a large group went in here to have a few cocktails and food. We met Megan, a so called manager. She has the manners of a Sow. We knew from the minute we walked in that we weren’t welcome. Rude and disrespectful. We had a person with us who is 18 in 2 1/2 weeks. She tasted her uncles drink. Maybe we were wrong on letting her, but didn’t see any harm. Megan Came up and snapped a drink from a 55 yr old man, shouting that she seen a younger girl sip from the glass. She needs lessons in hospitality and on how to handle a situation she’s not happy with. She should have come up to the adults and discreetly voiced her opinion. Instead she stood and shouted with raised voice so everyone in the premises could hear. She told us to leave and never come back!! So in reality Granny Annie’s lost out on food for a large part and maybe 3-4 rounds of drinks. Conclusion: Avoid. Unless certain management (Megan) go to some training courses and learn some basic manners, respect and how to deal with general public. This is a hospitality Industry after all!!

Service terrible, had to pay bill at bar No please or thank you. While we were there 3 tables of 2 people walked out because they weren't being served. Obviously the owners are to busy to be training the staff on Service and manners! Will take a lot to bring us back even for a coffee!

Great place. We stopped for Lunch and were treated royally by Emir. Food was great and there was a nice atmosphere. I had salmon with potato and leek mash. lovely

Food not great, prices not as advertised on menus, dirty floors and tables. Avoid. Menu states dish comes with chips but waiter said no the menus are not correct, and they are extra. Very strange

First impressions are of a very dark unkempt business. Tables and chairs all felt sticky and very little lighting. Orders taken and food delivered reasonably quickly. However the quality left a lot to be desired. Bland, poorly presented and not very hot. However the redeeming...

This is a must visit venue when you are in Enniskillen! Lunch is wholesome. The fare is homely pub food. The atmosphere however is the best! Decorations are madcap and fun. Always enjoy a visit

An incredible place to have a nice meal! Staff are very friendly but also approachable and personable Great selection of food, and they have no problem with altering an item if requested The atmosphere is really interesting, there's stuff everywhere but it doesn't look crowded and is just very visually appealing, from the upside down TV as you walk in, to the taps in the bathroom Money wise the prices are typical for a nice bit of grub

Young staff, waitress+barman were perfect. Lovely manners+respectful, very helpful+great banter. Granny Annie's was amazing decor, as in Mary Poppins sitting room upside down on the ceiling etc. Food was absolutely perfectly cook, presented+served to us. Totally injoyable experience, we loved it. Many thanks to wonderful server+barman.
