Grains Bar Hotel in Oldham

We had the chef's homemade rag puddings, just like my Grandma used to make. Superb, everything about the place was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again!.

An absolutely cracking hotel, I stayed for 3 nights and the food was excellent every day, the rooms were clean and very comfortable and the staff excellent. I have another couple of visits planned to the area later this year so I’ll be staying again!

Absolutely loved staying here beautiful surroundings food great staff very helpful and friendly accommodation could not fault looking forward to my next visit .. Thank you to all the staff and Lisa for making me feel so welcome

Nice place but breakfast overpriced

Ab fab food, staff, room absolutely fantastic, we had 4 nights there and will certainly go back, and the bed was soooo comfy. Get yourself there for a break.

Absolutely fantastic , booked for one night to meet friends as we moved to the Fylde coast several years ago .. lovely hotel ,friendly and approachable staff, room clean and spacious , breakfast lovely ..price just right, will definitely book again when visiting area, well done Grains Bar

Amazing food and top class service

Excellent! Fab food, great service and very reasonable price wise. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing.

Went for a drink with the kids to test their amazing new play area. The views are incredible their outdoor eating/drinking space is amazing. The play area for the kids is unreal. A huge adventure playground and a field to play in. Swings and all sorts. Good place to take your kids and let them go while you chill. The only cons to this place are that there is no draught beer. Only bottles. Seems crazy to me!

Simple and beautiful rooms to stay . Perfect for wedding reception or parties.

Lovely place didn't stay over .went for Sunday lunch but unfortunately they only had 1 left so we had a beautiful fish and chips. Large portion. Shame they don't offer small options for small eaters. Only thing I'd say need to opened longer 5pm is a little short plus more good old English options on the main menu. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Grains Bar Hotel for last 2 nights for my birthday. (Plus baby free night) the place itself is absolutely gorgeous ! We’ve stayed in the shepards huts which are on the field and amazing !! Words can’t describe… Staff are lovely, chatty and friendly, can’t do enough for you. 1000% will be back even just for a meal if it’s not for another stay anytime soon, but worth the drive out. & if your planning on getting married it’s a lovely wedding venue😁

Amazing! I don't usually leave reviews but here we are. We stayed here for my son & daughter in law's wedding. It was a fantastic, relaxed, romantic experience. No stress whatsoever. The 2 young ladies that helped us set the room up, you did a grand job. Louise, the wedding planner, knows exactly how to make a bride feel at ease every step of the way. She made herself available for everyone's questions & nothing was too much trouble (even the groomzilla :-) ) Sophie was on reception & what a lovely person she is. Every time I turned around she was helping someone & couldn't do enough for anyone. You are a star! The energy of the staff was astounding. They never stopped! They made every person feel special in their own way. We stayed in the cottage which was absolutely lovely with everything you need to make 6 people comfortable. The food was great! We had the afternoon tea option at the wedding which was perfect & just enough to still feel comfortable in your wedding attire & hit the dance floor. Breakfast had more than enough options for every kind of diner. All in all we had a fantastic time & cannot thank all the staff enough for their efforts!

Amazing food, great service and fantastic value for money.

We went walking out with the Grandchildren and after a long time trekking it was time for food. I'm so glad that I found Grains. The service was excellent, the food was brilliant, everyone was very happy with their choice of meal. Thanks for a lovely dining experience. We will be back.
