Gracies Cafe Ltd in North Lincolnshire

I ordered a banana milkshake and a cookie 1 too and it was brilliant. Very fast service and really polite when I couldn’t decide what flavour i wanted. Will definitely be back again soon

Visited today as a family and the place was empty, ordered a couple of coffees and a coke along with a child’s waffle, breakfast and a salad with extra chips. The coffee was lovely and arrived promptly. The cafe was pleasant with a local vibe which we liked. As the place was small and the kitchen central with no extraction the place soon became smoky and the smell of cooking food clung to our clothes. We then had a significant wait for the two adults meals and people who arrived after us had had their food and drink and were leaving as our food was arriving. The place quickly filled up as it is quite compact. The child’s waffle had been forgotten and we were told that it would be five minutes but it was twenty minutes and we had another long wait for his food and we were all pretty fed up. All the time we were there just eat orders were being prepared whilst the customers in the cafe were neglected. I would say the management need to reassess their priorities in regards to this. The food was pleasant but basic and the chips were poor. The cafe admits dogs however when busy this is not practical. As my child was finally settling down to eat his food someone walked in with a dog. The dog on the opposite table to us started growling at the dog entering and rather than avoid this situation or walk the dog by quickly on a short lead the man with the dog allowed it a long lead and to stick its head under the table toward the growling dog. Then a dog fight ensued as one would expect behind my young son who was scared. I had to intervene and point out the total obvious to the dog owner to get his dog away from my son. This was the final straw for me and we promptly left.
