A very pleasant ambiance and the Eggs Stornaway were excellent and the helping copious. Plates were heated (these details count with me!) Even more important was the fact that the person in charge took the trouble to greet my very elderly friend by name, while nothing that it was a while since she had been in. ‘Thank you’ to him and his team.

A brilliant coffee shop and perfect spot for brunch and lunch at the cross. Lovely service by Suzie and the team every time I visit with my partner , friends or even solo. Such a lovely little cafe to stumble across. Didn’t have any expectations when my partner suggested to come here but I am so so glad we did. Decor is beautiful, such a cosy, friendly vibe. Busy which only suggests it’s a great place to visit. Staff are so attentive and kind. Food is also delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the poached eggs and black pudding. Exceptional, still one of my favourite things I’ve ever eaten and I’m not normally a black pudding fan. Also tried the lime cake which I mistook for lemon cake ask incredible. All in all a must visit!

After walking around Mugdock Country park my partner and I decided to go for a bite to eat and found this lovely cafe . Overall we were very surprised in a good way with the quality. The cafe has lovely decor and a great relaxed vibe. The staff are really nice and friendly. The food was very tasty indeed. We ordered the food like tapas so went for Chicken kaarage with Asian slaw,French toast with bacon and maple syrup, sweetcorn and sweet potato fritters with a lovely pico di gallo salsa and finally the pork and apple sausage roll . The chicken was melt in the mouth and popped with flavour . The slaw was nice but I found it it be too sour but can appreciate the flavour combination. The French toast was light and very sweet . The bacon was crispy and a welcome addition to the sweetness. The fritters were very tasty and had a great flavour although I would have liked a little crunch from somewhere. The sausage roll was very tasty and the chutney worked very well. This was definitely very good quality and the cooking was good too so if you are in Bearsden then check this place out and see for yourself.

It was a Cold and frosty morning when we arrived at Bearsden and after parking the car we walked a short distance to find a coffee house at the Cross at around 08.30hrs.We noted that Grace & Favour was open and we entered and were made welcome, and the server invited us to select a table. As well as a coffee which had a great flavour we ordered a sausage sandwich which arrived without delay, the bread was fresh and chunky and the sausage filling was properly cooked and I enjoyed the taste. What really impressed was that this establishment was fully ready to serve customers at the time of opening. Well done!

Went in for a coffee with my husband. Decided to have a scone too. £7.80 for two lattes and a scone! The lattes arrived in small cups and the scone was so hard and so dry it just disintegrated on cutting it. It was also very heavy and must have been made a while ago then frozen. The service wasn’t particularly friendly. Will avoid it in future.

Went here on Wednesday lunchtime and 3 of us were seated in the dark dingy unattractive alcove at the back. 20 minutes later, no-one had come near us (although 3 members of staff walked past us!) and so I had to go to the till to get one of the staff's attention to take our lunch order. She admitted to "forgetting about us" which grated on me! The place wasn't exaclt heaving, but the staff were huddled around the till having a good old chinwag and so perhaps that was why we had been forgotten about! We ordered 2 sausage sandwices, one green tea and one americano with almond milk. The waitress placed the order on the table with both milks in the same jug and so we didn't know which one was the almond milk......and neither did she when we asked her! She proceeded to take them both away to ask someone else which one was which! Seriously!!!!! We asked for the bill.....and once again this was not forthcoming!! Annoyed, I decided to go the the till and pay only to be met with a sign that said "sorry can't take card payments today" ... fortunately there was a cash machine next door and so I duly went there, then came back and paid the bill. The girl on the till seemed to be struggling...blaming the till, which "was playing up". Anyway, the bill was paid and we left....never to return!

Sad to report that we had an awful brunch today. We waited 35 minutes and when it came the bacon and sausages we stone cold. Not just cold - stone cold. They were replaced and microwaved to death to the point that they were steaming. The plate had been left under the grill meant the poached egg had turned. At least replace the egg!!! Not worth £40! I met a friend I haven't seen for nearly a year in this cafe, we had a lot to catch up on and were there for 2 1/2 hours. During this time we bought 2 drinks each and a very crumbly unappetising scone each, which took 15 minutes to be served to us. For about the last 45 minutes all three of the female staff hung about our table, one even standing behind my friend for a few minutes with her hands behind her back, looking pointedly at our table. They then took away half our crockery, obviously a hint we had overstayed our welcome, I was still drinking my second drink. All three of them then approached our table and one of them asked us to leave as they said the needed our table for a large booking they had put at the 2 tables next to us. If they had waited about one more minute we were actually about to leave and I wouldn't have bothered to write about their rudeness loitering at our table and lack of speed when serving us. Maybe we weren't middle class or elderly enough for them but be assured we will spread the word about how rude they were.

Bottomline: the food is fantastic, the servers are very friendly and atmosphere will certainly not disappoint you. If you are on a tight budget, then check out the menu for something that you can afford - but if price is not the driving factor, then you've come to the right place.Although they only serve dinner from Thursday to Sunday, making a reservation can be a bit challenging if you don't phone in advance. ... for dinner! (on certain evenings). First things first, I am a massive fan of this particular coffee house. I love the coffee (and it never settles for poor quality beans), the cakes, but most of all the food.So I have to say I was delighted to hear that they had started opening for dinner. I wasn't disappointed. The staff were excellent - attentive but not overly so, and that's difficult to achieve in the intimate surroundings. I had pork belly with black pudding in a honey jus for a main, roast beets with whipped goat's cheese to start, and a creamy lemon tart with orange creme fraiche for dessert. All three were sublime. I finished the best meal I've had in a long time with their signature coffee. Wine is byob - which suits me as I don't have to put up with someone else's wine list! We will be back as it was a fantastic experience and a great way to spend an evening.

Firstly I am a fan of this eatery read my reviews as recent as 3 weeks ago?!Went here for lunch today my birthday and ordered the soup this was apparently Pea, Mint and Ham.......I beg to differ it was Mint Mint and Mint....being my birthday I pushed on and ate it but my partner couldn't eat it one spoon was what he managed. Think this was made worse by the fact it was lukewarm. It actually tasted like the dip you get which is Indian-strange. Served with two small pieces of bread?!(Too small) Not being one to hop onto trip adviser without bringing up my complaint, when the waitress collected our plates I identified it was not good and that my other half had not eaten that but she could see that the bowl was untouched....she said "Oh dear........" took the plates and walked off believe she is foreign......was going to have coffee and cake but with the lukewarm reaction and soup I thought better of it?! Partner went to pay 2 soups.....awful the way she did not deal with it?!Even when she returned some time after taking our plates to ask if we wanted coffee and we said no thanks she obviously could see we were not happy.....training required!! Even the offer of a coffee would have made all the difference NO sadly not ignored and unusual reaction??!!!Partner paid we left and went round the block to M&S and got a sandwich HAPPY BIRTHDAY?!!!!!Will not be back.....

Right in the middle of Bearsden cross, very accessible and got a large seating area. Got lots of nice breakfast and bunch things on the menu to choose from at reasonable prices. Would recommend this place if you want a cute and friendly place to catch up with friends.

Enjoyed an extensive range of lunchtime food and beverages. Can also sit outside. Friendly and helpful staff. Food good, nice atmosphere and well worth a visit, but a little bit prices.

Such a lovely place to have brekkie. Food was lovely and staff were so friendly.Granola, berries and properly made French toast! Fabulous! Coffee superb! Lack of soft furnishings made it a bit noisy

Met friends here for coffee and a catch up. We arrived at 11am and despite it being busy, we were approached straight away by a smiling member of staff who told all the tables were taken but if we didn't mind waiting a few minutes, there would be a table free soon. There's a good choice as far as the menu goes with breakfast and light lunch options as well as a selection of cakes. We ordered 2 x coffee and scones plus 1 x French toast with maple syrup and bacon. While we waited we were supplied with glasses and a carafe of water. Service was quick and efficient and food was lovely with a bill of around £20.There's a warm, cosy feel here and there's an option to sit outside if the weather is favourable.

I have enjoyed many lovely lunches with friends and family. I also feel comfortable popping in on my own for a freshly baked scone and coffee as the staff are so nice and welcoming.

Went with my boyfriend for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Ordered 2 hot drinks and 2 full breakfasts. The hot drinks came shortly after but we waited over an hour and still no sign of the breakfasts. We then politely asked how long they’d be as we had something else on afterwards and the staff had to check and came back to say there was an issue with the till processing the order. We were sat right next to the kitchen door and many other customers who came in after us and ordered the same were served within 10/15 minutes. It’s difficult to understand why this was not picked up by the staff before having to ask. By the time we had raised the issue we didn’t have time to wait on them restarting our order so asked for the bill for the hot drinks. At this stage I would have expected at least a good will gesture for the hassle but no they still charged us fully for the drinks and we left. Very poor customer service.

Tische und Besteck waren nicht sauber, die hälfte der Karte konnte nicht bestellt werden da die Zutaten fehlten (kann ja mal passieren) zudem war die Pizza und der Burger nicht von hoher Qualität.

Friendly service, nice lunch, nice setting and ambience. Tends to have a bit of a wait, from my experience. Worth a visit, have been several times.

I had a human hair in my meal. Very outdated, decor and table and seating all need replaced. Needs new walls and ceiling at the back of the restaurant. We won't be back.
