So nice to be able to have exceptional quality coffee at an affordable price! Staff are extremely friendly and the place looks clean and kept well! Nice to see an independent coffee shop in central station

Seeing this place open again with a fresh look, amazing service and brilliant coffee is just what was needed in the station. Being able to grab a delicious coffee in the morning for my commute, alongside friendly service is great. Welcome back Gourmet!

Always forget what a great little coffee shop this is if you're rushing for a train. The long black is always perfect.

The staff are lovely and friendly even at 8 in the morning, but the coffee is rubbish. Over priced, weak, very milky and not frothy. Avoid.

The best coffee anywhere close to Cardiff Central Station. It's hard to capture in a picture of a takeaway cup just how fantastic the coffee is here. I got a flat white and the milk was properly foamed (micro-foam if you're a coffee nut like me) the way it's meant to be for a flat white. Blend is medium-dark, with chocolate and biscuit notes and a smooth finish. The coffee is reliably of a very high standard, the sort that one might expect from a hip, indie coffee joint, but perhaps not from a small kiosk in a train station. With friendly, welcoming staff who always brighten my day, this is my top recommendation for coffee for anyone travelling by rail, or needing to stay near Cardiff Central. Fantastic!

Lovely selection of baguettes cakes drinks etc. Seating area but have no toilets. You have to go on the train platform for the toilet. Reasonably priced, nice staff.

Friendly, very convenient location, good brownie! Flat white was good but could have done with being a tad stronger but still pretty decent.

This is a really nice option for hot drinks and snacks before getting on a train. The staff are always friendly and we had a particularly nice chat with the lady who served us this morning! Thank you 😊

Disappointing. £2.95 for a regular (small!!) latte. Couldn't taste the coffee, only luke warm milk.

Their coffee is excellent, and much better than any of the other rubbish served in the train station, which is expensive but bitter. This coffee is strong and dark but has plenty of flavour. Very friendly staff as well.

By far the best coffee option in the station and also one of the better ones in Cardiff.
