Gosta Green Birmingham in Birmingham

A truly great experience at Gosta Green. A lovely bartender called Kimani suggested delicious cocktails and the pub is really huge.

The plastic glasses used for beers were not to my liking.

Terrible salad, not at all as described. Lots of undressed spinach and peas. If I hadn't opted for the grilled chicken on top it would have been inedible. All served in the relaxing ambiance of a nightclub. This is the most miserable meal I can remember eating.

We were looking for a cheap place for dinner. The Costa Green was on the way and we stopped in on the spur of the moment. We ordered the food at the table using an app that we had to install first. I found the selection of dishes and drinks annoying. The order was served very quickly and it tasted perfect. The facility is comfortable and clear, you can play darts and billiards and watch sports on the plentiful monitors. The price was the same as usual in England. The three burgers and a pizza cost almost £70.

Nice spot nearby the university where we were staying. A good selection of craft beers and lagers etc. Reasonable menu, the guys I was with had chicken burgers and said they were very tasty. A lot of sports are shown, and they gave a huge screen in one area, lots of seats, 3 pool tables too.

Nice place to pop over for drinks after work. Need to work on service at the bar tho as it's a bit slow!

Popped in for the reopening after their refurbishment. WOW! The place looks amazing, completely brand new. The mega screen amazing to watch the football on!!

Great place to visit. Food was lovely. Staff were really nice. Good atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. Only downside is it's inside the Clean Air Zone!!

Good price for food and drink good service but burger was over cooked and the bun was toasted to death. My wife had wings and they were perfect

I have never complained about food before, however ordered crispy salad with quinoa, roasted peppers, avocado, spring onion, rocket and peas and I got spinach not washed (sand inside) no rocket, no onion, no roasted peppers tiny tiny bit of avocado looking like it’s going of and no quinoa- rather than saying we have not got salad today they served me this most awful called salad and charge for it £11.50 is just joke and put me off eating anything else there. Ladies are nice and pleasant however how nobody spotted this dish and think it’s unacceptable it baffles me. I got refund but it’s not the point. My husband just eat his but I asked for quinoa for him and they brought it 10 min later with 2 tbsps and said they don’t haven’t got anymore. So why take orders if you haven’t got ingredients.

Very open space pub with lots of screens showing different sporting events. I come a lot while at University to watch the Formula 1. Lots to do as well, with pool tables, shuffle board, pub quiz weekly, dartboard (could do with replacement board). Food is reasonably priced for the type of venue and is quite delicious. Also range of drinks available.

I came in with my little brother and grand parents for a quick bite to eat, the staff were amazing and the atmosphere was lively Can't wait to come back!

Amazing looking place , great outdoor space and a fun event, badly let down by service. Paid for Eurovision brunch including drinks . Didnt have the food i wanted from the menu , the alternative was at best average , worse than a spoons meal (didnt think this was possible!) Drinks - had to buy one round as they took so long so all inclusive it wasnt. Funny how the inclusive drinks was 40 min wait (only wanted 2 pints) but if i paid i could have them straight away. Would I go again ? Yes mainly for the outdoor space but i wouldnt eat there and if attending a brunch order multiple drinks on arrival to avoid the delay .

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and ended up staying to watch the Liverpool game. Not only did I have 1kg of delicious wings, a vodka coke but my team won. I'll definitely be back

Met up with very old friends... nice place only downside is that it's within ULEZ ZONE and no parking (obvious pay & display on road) ...oh yeah beautiful cooked chicken wings ..

Great food, good deals and sport in every corner

We ordered some wings and fries , but the fries were outrageous they charged £3.25 for the a tiny cup of fries( and they came when we finished eating).

I'm really surprised with this place, I expected it to be rough, but it was far from it. It was lively but no rowdy. The food was good, as was the service.

Lots of activities to do as well as drink. Staff are all friendly and there are more than enough screens to watch the sport on. Best beer garden within the centre of brum. Probably the best pub/bar on a student campus I've ever been to

It's pretty fun here. Food is solid, the atmosphere here is friendly, the service is as good as it can be. Friendly staff. I approve of this place

Great all rounder pub right next to Aston University campus. Food is decent, the wing Wednesdays is always a good deal. Drinks are good and atmosphere is good. Main thing is the live sport! They always have the biggest events on and they also have multiple screens if more than one big match is on. Would recommend this place if you need somewhere to watch the football or just to have a catch up drink with a mate. Prices can be a bit expensive, considering it’s right next to Aston Uni. Apart from that, nothing to fault.

Though I didn't eat here on this occasion the food is always decent. The selection and quality of drinks is superb, the service is excellent and the atmosphere for a pub is second to none. Highly recommended.

Great student style pub. One of the rare places in Birmingham with plenty of screens showing all sorts of football. They put on the Italian football too! Food was surprisingly great too.

Went here for the wings as I heard they were amazing. They definitely did not disappoint. The staff were really friendly and loved to have a chat. One of the best pubs to relax or have a good night with friends or family.

Went here for wing Wednesday, the customer service was awful. The food was mediocre and with the sauces you had to do it yourself, I got 10 wings and fried for £7. But the pub it’s self has a lot of potential

All I can say is that the staff do not give a toss. It was clear they hate working there and honestly my nan moves quicker up a flight of stairs and she is 85! Believe me, I'm never one to complain, check out my other reviews. I doubt I'll be coming back. Turra for now.

Nice place and decent atmosphere but disgusting prices and disgraceful service. A round of 3 ciders set me back just short of £20 and even for the city centre and cost of living, that is disgusting, there is absolutely no justification for this greed. To make matters worse the staff are unprofessional, don't care who's next in the queue, are extremely slow and miserable, I've seen happier faces in mortuaries! Edit - After speaking with the manager, I revisited and found staff had been changed and were far friendlier and actually smiled. It was a quieter visit than the previous but it was a Thursday night so to be expected. Thanks for inviting us back to put things right.

Kicking Chicken Sub was excellent

Haven't been here for absolutely ages an when I say ages I actually mean YEARS (at least 30-40 years) when I was a wee teenager an it was known as The Pot of Beer. An all of you who can remember that far back ? Yes it was years ago (ok Im ancient) Anyway, came on a quiet Monday Sunny evening 6pm September 4th 2023 an the place was amazing Its massive inside an has wicked suntrap relaxing beer garden. Sports on the tvs both inside & out. Pool, darts an a variety of pub games Here's the GOOD news tho OMG! HAPPY HOUR (Which is a very long hour) Mon - Thur 5pm -9pm (Yes you heard me right) Mon -Thur GET-IN 100% Love-in it xxx We we served by a beautiful young lady by the name of Hannah who was very freindly, warm, helpful, welcoming an very knowledgeable about the pub, beers & prices All that said we had a relaxing time in the beer garden with a pint an a cocktail on a beautiful sunny Birmingham evening.

this is probably my most visited pub in birmingham (not because it’s next to my office or anything) BUT the bar staff are what keep us all coming back. hannah ❤️❤️ and emma ❤️❤️ in particular are absolute treasures and are a delight to be served by!!! 10/10 would recommend visiting this pub also one of the better/nicer/bigger beer gardens in the city centre. also did i mention that HANNAH and EMMA are LEGENDS literal queens thank u for making my gosta trips the best they can be xxxxxx

Went to Gosta Green for their Lioness brunch during the quarter final game today and had excellent service from Emma and Ash. Lovely burgers, quick service for our drinks and definitely great value for money! Would 100 percent book again

We loved our bottomless brunch for the Lionesses world cup quarter finals! The table was set up wonderfully, in front of the TV so we could watch the win 🏆 We had great food and drinks served by Ash and Emma who were so attentive and ensured we had a great time. Thanks so much! Our favourite pub to watch such great tournaments in!
