Gooey Waffle in Enfield

Disappointing experience. Ordered three waffles for delivery, spending over £30 and unfortunately, they were a complete letdown. All three were overcooked, bordering on burnt, and had barely any sauce. Even worse, the waffles themselves lacked any flavor—not even a hint of sweetness. One order was supposed to come with crushed Oreos, but instead, they just threw two whole Oreos in the middle, which felt lazy. The overall quality was really poor, making it a waste of money. Safe to say, I won’t be ordering from here again— I’ll be sticking to my usual spot around the corner from them!

My daughter actually won a Christmas price in her school for 2 gooey waffle. One of the staff serves us very well and asks us which price we gonna order and we have the full serve of waffle we love ❤️ . And the food itself, our nice and tasty kiddos, ate it all. We definitely come back again here.

I visited here today and was so disappointed. Ordered cookie dough and a waffle - totally sub standard and not worth the money we paid. We sat at our table and were beckoned from the counter to collect our order even though this is a sit in restaurant and no signage anywhere indicating this is a self service restaurant. One of the staff had an issue with her behaviour and was constantly staring in an aggressive manner - not sure what her problem was. Cookie dough arrived within 2 mins the quickest time I’ve ever received a cookie dough in any dessert joint and this was made from pre cooked mixture . This was awful and dry. Waffle was underdone- rushed out and not worth the cost either. One of the male staff did come and ask about our experience and feed back was given to him. With so much competition in the market with rival dessert places, Gooey waffle will not survive as this place is one of the worst places I have been to.

I can't understand why all the good reviews. Maybe I should've ordered something else. I ordered 2 cookie doughs, and 2 ice creams. The cookie doughs were both different flavours but both extremely dry and I've never seen a cookie dough so flat! The portions were tiny. The ice creams tasted cheap. I wouldn't recommend, it just tastes cheap and poor quality.

I had three scoops of ice cream, pistachio, Nutella and caffe latte and it was honestly so good! My favourite flavour was the caffe latte, service was great, would deffo come back again & order more!

half the cup was filled with cream, not the usual quality we get. Also tight with the sauce and fruit. quality has been compromised for profit.

Always a place I love going with my kids but this was the last time I went. Please train your tall male staff on how to treat customers. Disrespectful..

I Ordered at 11:10 the times were jumping to over an hour and waffle came cold which is disappointing when you wanted gooey chocolate with waffle, staff on the phone was not helpful and I will not be buying from here again.

YUMMMMMMY. FRESH FRUITS!!!!!! So many toppings be careful not to mix some weird combo. Clean. Fresh waffle batter. Great price. They was doing tasters outside n we loved it and went inside ! They are not new. Just new to me ! Go enjoy urself.

I’ve complained about being delivered the wrong food and i haven’t received a refund or any just eat credits. it’s becoming a bigger situation when it shouldn’t be.

I have tried several things from the menu , and never disappointed. They have a wide variety of deserts , milkshakes and many more. All fresh and delicious. Quick service, Staff all kind and welcoming , atmosphere very bright and a lovely place to chill . Also has an outside seating area. Price is fair and on board with other desert places.

Amazing waffles and gelato. We picked a flavour originally that the staff member didn't personally like so gave us a taste to make sure we liked it. We didn't so it was good he offered the taster. Will definitely be coming again.

Pistachio gelato was decent. Vanilla gelato was terrible and cookie dough sickly and soo bad. Expensive as well considering. £2.75 one scoop of ice cream..

So tasty and amazing place to visit! Staff are so lovely and attentive. Multiple options to choose from, made our own crepe and sundae. The fruit was fresh and very generous servings of toppings and sauce. A new desert place I will definitely keep visiting. Wayyyy better than Kreams and Urban chocolatier yet better service! Love this place. I travel over an hour to get here. Prices all under £10 and huge servings. Highly recommend their Pistachio and Nocciola (Hazelnut) Gelato. Only downside is it's incredibly sweet, so make sure to ask for some tap water or bring your own. I personally can't finish the whole portion by myself so split with my partner. Vegan gelato options and wheelchair accessible too.

However, I was disappointed to find an accessibility issue in the restroom. The red disability cable, meant for emergencies, was tied up and out of reach, potentially endangering customers with disabilities. This oversight compromises safety and excludes a portion of the customer base. It is crucial for Gooey Waffles to uphold basic accessibility standards and ensure all guests can enjoy their experience without barriers.

Ice cream must be a bubble gum flavour was raspberry also smoothie with pineapple was No pineapple flavour at all. Over price ….

When I ask for banana and strawberries in my waffle I don’t mean add literally 2 strawberry pieces and double the banana pieces required. Stop skimping on products when your customers are paying extortionate amounts of money. Better off going to creams at this point.

ordered an ice cream sundae from Gooey Waffle,they accepted the order, charged me then never delivered the order but said they had.total rip off!!! Still waiting to hear if I have a refund from Just Eat!!!? 😭

Visited this evening, girl behind the counter with glasses had no manners whatsoever, no pleasantries and was short. She shouted across the restaurant at us to come get our food. To the management, please teach the importance of customer service skills to the staff, all your one star reviews are the same.

Had to order again because it was never delivered and even after leaving a clear delivery note the driver still went to the wrong house. The desert wasn’t even cooked properly and my waffle was burnt. This has let me down extremely as I’m a loyal customer

Please put the cups in holders they maybe saran wrapped but both my milkshakes had spilt and there was barely half a milk shake left .

I never got 3 out of my 4 items and I make a complaint and no one got back to me and I have just been ignored call the store and they just said they can’t do anything £30 pound order and I got 1 item

I didn’t get my Oreo large milkshake that has really annoyed me because I spent my money on this which has really annoyed me.

I ordered plain waffles and got pancakes smothered in Nutella I asked for a refund and still haven’t received it. It took nearly 2 hours for them to deliver. The food is absolutely disgusting and I would advise you do not order from this place

Second time ordering from Gooey and it didn’t disappoint! My family loved it, would recommend and would definitely order again. Plus order was completed early so that was a bonus! Thanks again

Waffle and crepe was spot on, presentation was perfect also. But customer service was not up to standard. At least pretend to enjoy what you do and pretend you’re happy to see customers come through the door, acknowledge their existence.

Am a regular customer and normally love their products but the waffles have been quite dry recently. Definitely needed more Nutella. Please don't scrimp on fillings or you will lose custom!

Ordered a milkshake with the item on the receipt but didn’t receive the milkshake

Great service and food. Even though we had to get a substitute for one of the fillings. It was very considerate on their part putting the substitute in a separate container, in case we might have been allergic to it.

I went on a Sunday evening, it wasn’t busy. Only 1 family and the staff didn’t take our order. We were standing at the till for nearly 10 minutes which is really ridiculous given there were 3-4 staff members who could’ve taken our order. We just ended up leaving. Wouldn’t recommend due to poor service I understand if the restaurant is busy but it wasn’t so the lack of service is not acceptable.

Been going here since it opened. Consistently good service and their food is so good! They have a decent selection of toppings and ice cream flavours for your waffles/ crepes/ cookie dough. The place itself is nice and clean, and there's nearby parking.

We found a long hair in both the waffle and crepe that we ordered which completely put us off. The staff should really be wearing a hair net/hat to prevent this from happening as it ruined our experience and we won’t be ordering from here again. Everything came cold too.

Really tasty desserts ice cream and coffee a must visit place. Everything on the menu is Halal and there are some vegetarian options.

If you have a sweet tooth and you are looking for sweet treats, this is the place to satisfy those cravings. Just letting you know there are a good selection of fresh fruit toppings available on whatever you choose, gelato, sundaes, shakes, smoothies, waffles, crepes and cones. The restaurant area is tastefully decorated, spacious and clean.

I've been here twice before writing this. The venu is comfortable for various occasions. Very good informative service with a good range of choices from fruits and ice cream to the topping of chocolate, caramel, syrups, etc, not to mention sprinkles. It's very well worthy, especially if you're a fan of sweets.

Ordered a sundae with a range of scoops to have a broad feel of the flavours. They are quite satisfactory and the rocher sauce provides an impactful, chocolate punch to the tastebuds. There's a range of unique flavours to choose from and plenty of toppings that fit nicely. The fruit chosen, strawberries and blueberries, were satisfactory, although some blueberries were quite sour. The presentation of the sundae was very pleasant and that also goes for the interior design itself - it's unique and aesthetic. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a dessert , be it experimental or a classic.

Great place for a dessert. A good variety of quality ice cream, waffles, pancakes. Service was great, nice atmosphere and clean. I only tried the ice-cream,which was very good, but the rest of the desserts also looked delicious! Conveniently situated in the heart of Enfield town.

I had to come straight here to post a review after the fabulous service I just received. Having just had a pub dinner, my boyfriend and I were craving a dessert. A quick Google search led us to Gooey Waffle. We are vegan, so enquired about the vegan options available. There are loads! And the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and were able to tell us exactly which toppings were okay for us. They helped us to construct 2 absolutely delicious vegan waffles, which we polished off in no time. We will definitely be back here!

The milkshake was spilled meaning I only had half of it to drink

I came here yesterday and found that the menu is terrible to read compared to ordering online, the staff don’t let you get what you want, just what’s meant to go together. I felt extremely uncomfortable in there with the tens of school kids. Not even the nice kind of school kids. This place has serious work to do as it shows they care little about customer satisfaction. An embarrassment!
