Being frisked on the way into the pub set the tone, sadly. Service was good. No food. Doom Bar Pump clip but no actual Doom Bar, or any other ale. Decent beer garden.

Went to the lion for the first time for new years eve and had a great time! Definitely going back. Great atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly. Music and dj really good, everyone dancing and enjoying the evening!

This is my local, and I do enjoy going here on a Friday or a Saturday, the staff are amazing and love to bring fun and enthusiasm to their work to make it enjoyable, on my very first visit the staff remembered who i was each time i visited I do spend a hefty amount when I go out for drinks but there are happy hours where promotion prices are available, you could enjoy yourself for as little as £30 and overall it is an affordable establishment.

Could have been better A very loud man shouting and swearing made it a very uncomfortable. We had to go out to the garden.

Was a great place to go, everyone friendly. But the brewery did not have all the money going in their pocket. Closed down the land lord for over 15 years had to move out. Greed.

Loved it pool table, dance floor, beer garden all you ever want. Get down there for summer fun

No atmosphere, I was last there about 5 years ago and it's changed, staff not friendly not as clean either, disappointing.

Amazing and friendly staff. The djs know how to keep the pub live with the music even if we can't get up and dance. The table service was easy and you didn't have to wait long. Had an amazing night out. Thanks to all the staff❤️

Visited the Red Lion for the first time a couple of weeks ago.Was made to feel like a regular from day one.Bar staff and Ray and Tracey so friendly. Service,second to none. Excellent food.Will be visiting this place on a regular basis from now on.If you've never been there,I would recommend you try it,you will not be disappointed.GREAT PUB !

It's a well managed great pub with fantastic entertainment

I like this place to go to watch football. one of the fewest place where they changed the channel on one tv for me to watch my favorite team. Other places if there is an English team playing they don’t even let you to watch your favorite match on a separate small tv but in this place i found the guys helpful. Thanks

Good service from the bar staff last Sunday afternoon was hoping to see the first half of the spurs match but because different sports screens showing different sports events I could not find a suitable place to stand or sit in the pub.to watch one in question

60s All Stars on a Thursday. Best entertainment you can have for no money at the door. Nearly always something on Friday to Sunday as well. Clean and tidy place. Excellent bar staff. What else do you want out of a boozer?
