Good Taste in South Staffordshire

Should not be called good taste should be called bad taste,ordered chicken balls here after taking a bite realised that the chicken is completely pink in all of the balls. In the end had to feed to my chickens

Friendliest people ever, it's honestly a pleasure to go there. They're always happy to see you and lovely to talk to whilst you wait for your food. The food is fab - they make the best wet king prawn chow mein, so it's never dry and always tasty. Combine that with some salt & chilli king prawns and it's the perfect combo, plus their portion sizes are always generous. Oh and their pancake rolls have THE best pastry too, absolutely delicious! Can't recommend them highly enough. Just remember to take cash as they don't take card (you can draw it at the Co-op or the garage down either end of the row of shops).

Very unassuming Chinese takeaway. Always good food, prepared fresh and fast. We've been going for 13 years and keep going back for the shredded crispy beef and battered chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. Beware - they only take cash!

Had no choice but to go here as my local Chinese was closed. Only got chicken balls and they were ALL burnt and dripping in oil. They were literally so burnt that they were hard as rocks. How do you get chicken balls so wrong? Tasted horrible

Disgusting. My husband ordered vegetable spring rolls as I am vegetarian and can't eat prawns. I was half way though my mushroom omelette and tucking into the spring rolls when I saw chicken and prawns in it. The whole lot went in the bin. Made me ill on my wedding anniversary too. Never go there again in my life !

Good food, good service, order by phone and collect in around 15 min's, can order at counter and see them cooking from there, only problem is if you don't have cash as they don't take cards. Walk about 50- 100 yards to use cash machine at co-op supermarket (in same row of shops), if not you can use machine at B/bridge garage about 250 yards away before going to Good Taste Take Away.

Visit there most weekends, never had an issue. Food is delicious, hot and staff are friendly. Bit pricey compared to other places but don't mind if its enjoyable.

Normally I go to jade House, I tried this as jade house was closed and OMG! That's all I can say OMG! The food was horrible and bland, extremely salty for some reason and a complete waste of £25!! The chips was not salt and pepper, just basically plain chips with peppers which is not salt and pepper. The beef was horrible chicken over cooked. The beef chow main was disgusting and floating in oil!!! Words can't even describe, the chef must have no clue how to cook honestly. I would advise anyone to buy anything but this, it's really that terrible, I would have enjoyed cheese on toast more. Definitely the fist and last time I EVER buy from here.

Have to say first time visit And wouldn’t visit again! Yuk sung minced beef and plenty of carrots, no flavour and not so good lettuce, mains chicken curry and fried rice like from a supermarket also a Singapore chow mein very bland, an only personal preference

Crispy pancake rolls were awful. They were filled with tasteless bean sprouts and hardly any meat. Covered in grease and basically as hot as the centre of the planet. Almost burned my hands. The prawn crackers were stale and inedible. The egg fried rice tasted like plastic and was inedible. The Singapore chow mien was appalling. I really am surprised at how this place stays open and has customers because Im surprised they’re not sick after every meal. I cannot stress enough, don’t go there. There are much better places like the one in bilbrook centre or sunrise near the pilot pub which are not too far away. Hopefully I have stopped a few unsuspecting victims from falling into this trap.

Went to pick up the order as they don’t deliver. Server seemed annoyed that my daughter had a nice car & commented how great it must be to afford an expensive car? It was only a 2008 Vauxhall which was cheap?! Anyway, Only ordered chips, rice noodles and gravy.. How can that go wrong? I do not know what was wrong with the gravy but it looked like the remnants of clogged sink water & fat that had separated. Totally inedible. I rang them to ask what we could do, he said we could bring it back and he would replace the gravy (this is after 10pm at night so not ideal going back, especially as I had bugged my daughter for a lift to go get the food in the first place & when we got back home with the food she had gotten straight into bed while I dished up) but I asked what about the other food which would be cold by time we’ve gone there & back (it was already dry anyway) and he actually just blanked me on the phone, I said to him you don’t even care we just spent our last £10 and now have no food late at night do you?.. again, no response other than an inaudible mumble. No apology, nothing. He really didn’t care at all. So yes I said screw you then and hung up the phone. Will never go there again. Very expensive too. We had to eat dry noodles and chips & rice which cost £10. That gravy looked so bad I do not know how that got dished up and served in the first place? Maybe it was left to stand there all night with the lid on so they didn’t know how bad it looked. But, if u can’t even serve gravy sauce correctly, I certainly won’t trust them with other food being safe.

nice take away with good portions. service is friendly and fast. I go here every time I fancy a Chinese!recommend the lemon chicken 🤤 £48 for 7 well sized portions

Been to this takeaway a few time. Never failed to press me. The best Chinese takeaway meal I had. Creative and deliciouly superb.

Having decided to have to celebrate the end of 2018 as a family with Chinese meal , our disappointment was off the scale when we brought the takeaway meals home. The chips looked as if the had been left out in the rain and the various Chinese dishes looked unappetising. 90% of the entire meal was ‘binned’, whilst it didn’t stop us all having a great evening I will never purchase a meal from them again

I’ve used this takeaway for quite some time and travel about 3 miles to eat there. I have always found the are good and freshly cooked. You can see the kitchen and food being cooked from the counter while you wait. Only downfall is that it is cash only other than that great place to eat.

Went in as we had just move my daughter into her new home. Needed lots of food. I hadn’t got that much cash on me and THEY DONT TAKE CARD 😳 this 2018. Everyone takes card. So I went to the cash point. Just what you want after a day moving house. When’s back and she said it would be 40 mins. “Take a seat’ she was a bit rude to be honest. !!!!! I asked if they would deliver. But because it’s a new estate and their system didn’t pick up the new postcode she said NO!! I went to the chip shop. Disgusting customer service she was so irritated by us - we felt so uncomfortable 😣 never again.

Ordered a take away on the phone got there 15 mins later and it was just coming out of the kicthen,went back home and oh wow it was FAB service was great we will be back very soon. 5*

Order was incorrect - no rice, slimy chicken beef and veg dish instead. Chips fried hours ago and reheated. BBQ ribs were gristle, fat, and bone in an unpleasant thin sauce. Last time we will ever visit. Something has changed, as we have been coming here for years, and, whilst not great, it was not the unpleasant and overpriced experience we had today. Whole meal £18+. Not worth it.

A lovely place to have a takeaway good portion sizes at ok prices would recommend lots of choice and friendly staff

Evitar a toda costa. Nuestra comida era sospechosamente demasiado rápido como todo estado mintiendo alrededor y recombinada . El arroz olía raro en retrospectiva, y hacía mi esposa enferma. Sospecho que todo administrado y almacenados. unhygienically Sólo en efectivo, lo que en este día es muy raro. Evitar si valoras tu salud. Nunca jamás volver.

Nos desanime viniendo aquí porque las críticas negativas, pero fue el único lugar abierto y que estaba hambriento, así que le dio una oportunidad. Puede ver directamente a la cocina y se puede ver que la comida estaba recién hecha. El personal era educado y la comida era ser e un utiful. Mejor comida china que he probado en mucho tiempo. El precio fue una sorpresa para nosotros, aunque un poco más caros que en otros lugares.

Pidió la triple corona con patatas fritas. A 2 minutos de mi pedido, pero cuando llegué a casa estaba atónita. La corona triple y patatas cuesta casi 9 libras. 00. Debe estar lleno de carnes y gambas. . . En su lugar encontré una bañera de hortalizas un montón de cebollas, 1 gambas y champiñones. Las patatas fritas eran congeladas. Toda la comida era insípida no lo que pedí y un desperdicio de dinero! ! ! ! !

Food ok, we questioned why our food cost double the price compared to other Chinese takeaways and the owner said it's because we're in codsall we can charge more we were shocked by his answer and he said 'yeah we bump up the price because of the area' that's terrible that they do that an then so bad that they speak to their customers like that, an they got a very simple order wrong bad experience won't go back

Este llevar dos veces. Servicio muy rápido (tanto en horas punta), de comida caliente muy agradable. Muy satisfechos con ellos. Cena 3B, más que suficiente para 4 o 5, gran variedad. Irritación leve sólo es efectivo sólo es una comida para llevar y por lo que pude ver no hay servicio de entrega.

Cada vez que he tenido una comida para llevar desde aquí la orden ha sido malo, el personal es grosero o indiferente y la comida es aburrido, nunca lo he probado la comida desde allí de nuevo.

Gran lugar, sin duda recomendaría las costillas y pollo dulce y amarga pelotas y los barcos de lechuga

Yes it's only five minutes away but if it was fifty five it would still be worth it. Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Always lovely food and ready to go if you order in advance.

Use this take away regularly and am never dis-satisfied. Service has never been bad even when they are very busy. Food always to same high standard.

Rude abrupt staff on front desk with no manners for the paying customer along with over priced food. Not really a pleasant experience at all. We suggest you spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
