Been going here since I was a child. Haven't disappointed since. Service is great warm family and owner really lovely people and food.

The prawn balls are absolutely horrible, they are the worst one I had in any Chinese. The prawn ball are small crusty and horrible taste. Sort this out

The name is right, it's definitely Good Taste. In fact it should be Great Taste. The sweet & sour is not vinegary or gloopy like others, it's just right. Fresh and still hot when I got home. Friendly owners and great customer service

The food was really terrible. We ordered salt & chilli squid, kung po king prawn, shredded chilli beef, king prawn balls, king prawn fried rice, prawn crackers and shrimp chow mein but they gave us shrimp fried rice. We received two free can drinks. The price was reasonable, our order came just over £30 but the food was soggy, spicy with chilli or pepper but lacked seasoning, greasy...literally the crispy chilli beef did not taste of beef at all. It just was deep fried flour with colouring. It was dripping in oil. The salt and chilli squid coating or batter was soggy and mushy and lacked any flavour. The kung po king prawns was not fresh and the prawns tasted soft. The kung po sauce was oily and the vegetables had little black bits. It could have burnt a little on a high heat but I was not wiling to eat anymore just in case I became ill. The king prawn balls was very greasy. The only dish that was okay was the king prawn fried rice and the shrimp fried rice. I was really shocked as I read the reviews before trying and the reviews were okay. I would not recommend Good Taste takeaway to anyone. The food was unsatisfactory and not authentic at all. Tasteless and left my family and I very disappointed. We sometimes order from Golden Place on Merton Road, South Wimbledon and they are only average, but compared to Good Taste they are 5/5. I would not recommend Good Taste at all.

Best Chinese around! I moved to Tooting a couple of years ago and had been trying to find a good Chinese until I found this place. It doesn't deliver but well worth the 30 minute round walk because the food is so good. Fresher, tastier and miles better value than anything on Uber Eats or Deliveroo. And they are always extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

First time ordering and was truly impressed. Was recommended by a friend and was a little cynical given the appearance of the shop front and the area it's located in. However, the food was excellent. Moral of the story is don't judge a book by its cover. Highly recommended

There are 2 good popular Chinese takeaway restaurants in Mitcham which I use, i used this one during the first lockdown as they were the only one open at the time and I have to say although this one is not as well known I find the food just as nice as the other 2 i use. Popped in today as they offer mussels in black bean sauce unlike the others and was really impressed with all the food I bought. There are 3 good Chinese restaurants in Mitcham!!

This is the best Chinese ever I have been going here for the last 22 years. Don't worry about how the place looks great size portions great value for money, my favorites are the sweet n sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce, and the chrispy aromatic duck with pancakes.

So lucky to have this as our local Chinese. Lots of variety and all the classics, each with delicious flavours. Service is always v friendly and fast.

My family used to order from here when I was a child and it was my favourite thing to order. I have now moved back to Tooting (13 years on!) and very pleased that the food is just as good! Told my family Good Taste is still there and everyone was very excited. :-)

I have eaten numerous, numerous Chinese takeaways in my lifetime (even worked in one before :D) and I can honestly say this is one of the best tasting I have experienced!! The quality is unreal, highly recommend!

Bought from them last night as the one I normally buy from were close, I was so glad I did as the food was so good and really big portions too, very good value for money. Will certainly buy from the from now on.
