I thought the burger was 10/10 and then I tried the pizza, that dough was incredible! If we was in the area we’d definitely revisit!

Had burger and chips then lemon Sicilian cheesecake pint of cider and a Latvian vodka was amazing staff friendly and attentive lovely atmosphere will eat there again

This review is Ford good Mood Lounge in the High Street - so first: it’s just as good as the original Good Mood food wise and service. We went for a large licence to,last the rest of the day so had a number of different plates. All excellent food and the pizza was definitely freshly made and one of the best I’ve had for ages. Excellent service and a fair price for the quality of the food, the ambience and service.

My partner and I had the absolute best experience at this restaurant. The food was genuinely incredible. I had a mushroom pasta dish topped with walnuts and honey and I can honestly say it is one of the best dishes I have ever had. My partner had a pizza and it was a proper stonebaked pizza, cooked beautifully. All of the staff were really lovely, the waitress that took our main food order was very helpful and nice. The restaurant is quite small, I highly recommend booking, you don't want to miss out on this place! We came away from our meal here very happy and will definitely be back!

Ladies inside were lovely and nice to chat to.. me and my fiance ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic bread with cheese to take back to our cabin.. it was gorgeous! Thank you! And nkve to chat to you also!

Delicious Pizza! Me and my fiancé were able to order takeaway pizzas from their GM Lounge as we were staying 10 minutes away in a lodge. Such a treat after a day of exploring Snowdon!

Lovely little place. Staff super friendly, although they did seem a little rushed off feet. (Had to ask for sauces and vinegar, nobody came to ask if food was ok - minor details but important we felt) We both had a delicious, impressive burger which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.

Quite possibly the best burgers I've ever eaten. Ate here 2 years ago and was so good I just had to come back again as I was in the area. Outstanding once again, I just wish Iived closer so I could come more often! In addition to the food, the service is superb. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I was very happy to see that they've opened a new restaurant since I was here last. A lovely restaurant, run by lovely people. Can't recommend highly enough. Make sure you pop in if your within a 250 mile radius.

Warmly greeted on arrival, we then thoroughly enjoyed a smash beef burger, fish burger and slow cooked beef ragu. The rosemary seasoned fries were really good! Super views over the harbour and nice outdoor seating area for when the weather warms up! Takes a bit of finding, but is well signposted from the harbour about 100 yards away. You will be able to find cheaper food in Porthmadog but that bit extra is well worth it

Good Mood is a bit tucked away in part of Porthmadog Yacht Club - but definitely worth finding. I enjoyed a cracking smashed burger with oodles of fries and a really yummy slaw. My wife had mushroom ravioli with a rather special vodka, tomato and cheese sauce. She was purring. Service excellent and, as a bonus, Good Mood is dog friendly. Max loved the fuss, not to mention the bowl of water and the treat the team bought out for him. A winner all round! Pizzas looked excellent as well.

The place is tucked away, but worth finding. Like an American Diner, small inside but lots of outdoor seating. Really good pizza bases, generous toppings. Friendly staff.

Bit of a weird location that has you thinking are you going in the right place. But once you are in there it's lovely and the food is great. I recommend the cowboy burger it's banging.

What a lovely place, we visited after been unable to get into the first choice that evening, and frankly it wasn't a shame. Such a nice location, and the food was really good. The staff were very friendly too, which is always a bonus. Defiantly recommend for those who enjoy this cuisine

This is the second time we've been here in as many weeks. First time we all had burgers, including their vegan burger offering, which was, to be quite frank, absolutely stunning! The staff are friendly and helpful. This time round we all had pizzas, and once again, were incredibly happy. The food here never fails to impress. Next visit, we'll try the pasta dishes!

I was working here during one week and we came every night the Restaurant was open. Very friendly staff. Even adapting the pasta to our indication. Dessert also good. Quiet ambience and good music. We come back in the future

First time eating at Good Mood, it won't be our last time. On first entering the restaurant you are greeted with a beautiful restaurant and the owners who are so welcoming. The food was fabulous, staff and the restaurant too, what more can you ask for. We can't wait to eat here again when visiting Porthmadog.

No tasty food the owner very nasty

So glad I finally made the time to visit for dinner. Went out for a family birthday meal. To say the experience was nothing short of spectacular would be an understatement. The staff are incredible attentive and welcoming, the menu leaves you spoilt for choice and the wines were just divine! A feature on the wine list that I loved was that they give recommendations for which meal to pair with them. This just shows the thoughtfulness of the people running it! I honestly could not recommend this place enough! It is clear that a lot of thought and care goes into this business. The menu has something for everyone and it can easily be catered for dietary requirements and the staff are very helpful with any questions or concerns you may have! My mother in law made a mistake in not mentioning she was GF and the staff swiftly rectified her mistake without hesitation and with patience and kindness, she wasn't made to feel awkward (like some places can make you feel) The service really made the night. However that isnt to say that the food can be overshadowed. The food was absolutely amazing! We all cleaned our plates and some how just wanted more! Absolutely amazing! Not a single complaint, none of us were left wishing for something more. Absolutely delicious. It was a pleasure to finally visit this place (especially since the owners are friends of mine) A massive thank you to the wonderful staff for making this night special for my partner. Cannot fault the service at all! Im very excited for the next time I visit! (Which will be soon) Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

We dropped a pin in Porthmadog looking for somewhere to eat and the maps brought us here. We had the most tasty burgers that we’ve had in a long time. The staff were lovely as was the place. Definitely one for the ‘let’s go again’ list.

Food was Good And Lock Was Fun And the sever Was Great And The Bathroom Had a shower And the bathroom Was cleaning I LOVE IT And it was great

Found the place on TA as it’s not on the high st. It does however overlook the harbour and I can imagine it’s rammed in the summer months. First impressions, greeted by a massive smile and immediately made to feel welcome. We had booked which I would recommend as I estimated around 30 covers and it was busy even at 6.20 on a rainy November evening. Service was very efficient and friendly and food arrived quickly. Burger was excellent as was my wife’s pasta dish (generous portions). Definitely worth the visit you cannot park directly outside the restaurant but plenty of parking is available close by. Anything that I would say could be improved??? Very little except possibly adjust the entrance door as it slams incredibly loudly. That said it’s a tiny point for a restaurant that is clearly trying very hard - they deserve a visit (but make sure you book in advance).

We visited twice this week as the food and service was fantastic. Pizzas are amazing, lots of different toppings, and the burgers are flavoursome and a little different. Staff are so friendly and genuinely pleased to see you. Thank you for both of our visits. See you next year.

Deluxe burgers were really way beyond the usual. Price reflected excellent quality and good value. Cody cafe atmosphere and friendly service. Good local beer offering.

Super lunch with the family whilst staying in the area on holiday; we hadn't booked and turned up around 2pm on a Monday - the place was busy on arrival, but there was only a wait of around 5 minutes for a table. Food was really good (we had pizzas mainly), service was absolutely spot on also. Would happily go back if in the area.

Not impressed, not in a “good mood” as most people do checked out the trip advisor reviews not at all what we were expecting… service great however, food was tasteless apart from the chips. Total lack of atmosphere, they are definitely relying on the location. Save yourself some money and get a ding meal from Aldi!

Visited on a Thursday evening (pre-booked) in mid-October '23. It was quite busy when we visited with amix of families and couples. The room has a cafe/bistro vibe, music in the background, but the lighting's a little hardh. My wife and I ordered burgers, chicken and whiskey infused beef respectively. They were served very quickly. My burger was one of the tastiest I've had in a long time and my wife enjoyed hers. Prices were reasonable and the staff pleasant. We'd return if in the area again.

What a lovely place , plenty of food , good size portions and at a really good price , 12" Garlic Bread for starters , plenty for 2 and sea food pasta and a Chicken pasta , hot and delicious, could not eat desert as absolutely stuffed , Staff gave a warm and welcoming atmosphere a credit to the owners , well worth a visit and would advise phoning / booking in advance, 2 thumbs up from me . Would not hesitate going back again .

Wow... booked for friends Birthday. Due to the number they requested a pre order. Arrived and staff amazing..no issue changing 1 order.. Food hot..tasty and plentiful. We had an amazing time and the staff even put birthday banners up. Highly recommended

Went here for lunch on 11th October. Food was fantastic. My husband and I both had the chicken burger which was delicious, and they made a plain pasta with cheese for our child as he doesn’t like any sauce on his pasta. Staff were lovely, would highly recommend.

Friendly service but food disappointing. Also not an authentic place. Feels rather like a fast food restaurant even though the location itself is great. Another downside: Parking restricted. Exclusively for paying yacht club members only.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The carbonara was honestly better than the one I had in italy this summer! The chicken burger my partner had looked amazing and he said it tasted even better! The white chocolate cheesecake was unreal too! The staff were attentive and welcoming, we brought our 2 dogs and the staff were so kind to have had dog biscuits at the ready for them. We will definitely make it a habit of coming here whenever were in Porthmadog! You'll be missing out if you dont come here!🙌

My daughter and her fiance really liked their gluten free Burgers, and while my gluten free pizza was OK, I would have liked more seafood topping. It was pretty mediocre compared to the normal pizzas being served.

Don’t be fooled by appearance of this little restaurant.It’s fantastic and food is superb. Excellent quality ingredients and generous portions. Staff are helpful friendly and couldn’t do more for diners. I had a sweet pizza for dessert which was absolutely amazing.

We went last minute and we were given a table outside overlooking the harbour. We had an 'oohlala burger' a 'Drunken Captain burger' and a 'pasta carbonara' all absolutely fabulous and super tasty.

drove from harlech to porthmadog today to come here, paid for 2 hours parking then waited till 4 for kitchen to open, made our way over to find out it’s closed. no where else to eat food as they were either closed on tuesdays, not serving food till late, or booked. i understand that sometimes places have to close on short notice, but this should’ve been advertised more on google maps, or on the other signs that are advertising the place dotted around porthmadog. 2 stars because it might be a good place, we just didn’t have the opportunity to try :(

The person who stated, "This is not a good restaurant" either has a vested interest in a local competitive eating house or is oblivious to good quality food and service. Excellent food which is not overpriced accompanied by a good and adventurous wine list. Staff were attentive and courteous. Highly recommended.

Visited Porthmadog August 23, came across this place on apple maps. Food amazing , staff were great and very welcoming. You can park for free around the back of the restaurant if you can find a space.

A really lovely meal with excellent food and service. They're even dog friendly which is an added bonus. Just at the harbour edge so a really pretty setting.

This was our first time visiting Good Mood. It is a lovely small restaurant on the Porthmadog harbour. We all had pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them. If you're a fan of pineapple on pizzas then this place also obliges. At the time we were there they had ran out of gluten free burger buns but this wasn't a problem as I wanted a gluten free pizza anyway. It was delicious and we shared a side of chips (cooked in a separate fryer so also suitable for a gluten free diet). The service was very friendly too. We will definitely return.

You need to make advance booking or they will make you outside with flying wasps around! They don't even have plastic cutlery for takeaway. Food is below average. The garlic bread tasted like it was dipped in vinegar.

When in Portmadog I always go there at least once. The staff and management are very professional and friendly. The food is great and the price is well placed.

Food was okay but no sides are included with the burgers! Also, toilets are the yacht club toilets and it’s a shame you can’t really see the harbour when sat inside.

Service was amazing, that staff were really nice and helpful. The food came really fast in good time; their menu is slightly more extensive than most breakfast places so were were all able to get what we wanted, and the chocolate cake was just amazing

First night of our trip to Porthmadog and a great place to start things off. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly; we even had a view of the marina whilst we ate our meals. Very reasonably priced and the menu had plenty to choose from. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a meal to fill you up.
