Golden Wok in East Riding of Yorkshire

On a family weekend break in Hornsea, ordered a variety of dishes for 4 adults. Order taken quickly and delivered to our cottage. Food was hot and to a excellent standard. Everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely order from Golden Wok again if we return to Hornsea.

Great food!! Fabulous beef curry, pork with mushrooms, peking ribs. Not only was the food excellent but the two young ladies serving were fabulous - very polite, cheerful, smiley, positive and chatty. They were an asset to their family and business. Well done!!

Lovely takeaway and delivered in sufficient time . Plenty of food too. Highly recommended and friendly staff. Look at menu online

Takeaway excellent meals especially the set meals loads of food. We were six people tucking into the set menue for 5 and had food leftover.

We ordered take away while on holiday and quite simply the best Chinese take away we have ever had. You won’t be disappointed

The food was lovely and lots of it too , perfect food and delivered to Brandesburton holiday park reception which was great for me and the food was piping hot and will be using again on my next stay at Brandesburton

We have just received a wonderful delivered takeaway from golden wok & as always it was fantastic & delivered by their wonderful, friendly delivery drivers who are so lovely, beautiful meal, we would'nt go anywhere else

We visited The Golden Wok on our recent holiday in Hornsea. We sat in the restaurant area and were made to feel very welcome. The staff were really friendly and efficient. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, and when it came, we were amazed at the generous portions. I was unable to eat all of mine, so asked for a takeaway box for the leftovers , and this was no problem. Plenty of choices on the menu and the food was delicious. Highly recommended

This place scored high on reviews peppered with some awful reviews. However I like to give a place chance to showcase their food. Ordered the food and it arrived some 20 minutes later. I thought that was strange as I’m pretty sure cooking from fresh and delivering would take at least 45 minutes. Ok I don’t want to rip these guys apart but we only had a few mouth fulls of this food and it was too salty, greasy, and weird to continue to eat. Utterly tasteless brown greasy food. The bad reviews were absolutely correct. The whole lot went into the bin. Even my dog wouldn’t eat it. My companion had stomach pains later that evening. Pretty sure it was the food that caused that. The rice was dark brown even though it should be white. Iv never seen brown rice that should be white fried and so greasy. I’d swerve this place if your looking for a tasty chineese takeaway. Spend your money elsewhere. How they have 5 stars on the .gov food agency is beyond me.

Absolutely beautiful food, fresh hot amd plentiful superb value for money too. The staff were so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Went here by chance as a change from our other go to Chinese takeaway & wow. We have a caravan near by & like a takeaway whilst there. This is now our go to takeaway. The food was tasty, hot & plentiful at reasonable prices. So glad we gave it a try. We are ordering again this evening. It is also a restaurant so we might try that at a later date i would highly recommend to anyone in the area. 10 out of 10 every time we have visited.

Best Chinese in Hornsea. Recommend everyone to visit. The food is delicious and service is excellent.
