Golden Kebab in Poole

Gave me food poisoning, I used to work there and they don’t clean any utensils. They do not clean any meat or any produce, they laugh about all their customers, they do not care about anyone except who’s lining their pocket. Do not shop here at all, you will regret it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The lamb Shish was tasty but for 18 quid for a king size you would expect more meat than you usually would get in a medium , also not much in the way of salad just onions no peppers no tomatoes, the lamb was cooked nice but the quantity for that price is not

Arrived within 20mins ordered a few times now and I've never been disappointed or unhappy with the food or service they've provided.. this evening I ordered threw just eat and the delivery driver was such a nice guy i even gave the fella a tip it wasnt much but i was happy to give it too him!!! One of the best kebabs, such good choice and great staff

This place is flawless. The food is always perfect and perfectly cooked. We always get the special kebab which is a platter of four meat dishes: lamb shish, chicken shish, lamb kofte and Donner kebab. Comes with salad and great coleslaw and pitta bread. I also recommend their cheesy chips which are to die for.

Ordered a takeaway, this comprising of a small doner kebab and a chicken burger, this took just under an hour to arrive, being Friday night I didn’t necessarily consider this too bad to receive a nice meal, however…….. not only were both of the items received colder than an eskimos fridge the chicken burger consisted of a small chicken patty drowned in an entire bottle of mayonnaise resulting in a small pile of mush between two cold buns. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I didn’t bother calling to complain as I’m not prepared to wait another hour for two small, cold foam boxes of disappointment.

Hands down the best chicken doner kebab I have had in a very long time so large I couldn't eat it all fresh crispy salad and a hot sauce I would just drink if I could handle the heat 😂 and all for 12.50 winner winner what legends

That is the best Kofta kebab I have ever tasted by a mile. Cooked to perfection, not over or under done. Fantastic! Hat's off to the chef👍

Visited Pool for few days and came a cross this place. Very enjoyable food, massive portions and honestly very polite and friendly guy in counter 👏🏻

Arrived to collect food and there was a Misunderstanding on an item, so I was told to take what was there home and they would get the garlic pizza straight in the oven and delivered asap. Item arrived about 10 mins after I arrived home, pipping hot and we were given a free bottle of pepsi. Fantastic service and food was delicious as normal.

I ordered a mixed kebab last weekend, I have always rated the food here! However to my disgust whilst eating my kebab I bit into a screw (nail head) which was inside my takeaway!!!! I chipped my tooth and the nail head was clearly old also 🤢🤮 I will never eat from here again the food hygiene must be abysmal for a screw to get into my food!!!! If it allowed for pictures to be posted on this review I would include them. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

We love this place for our takeaway. Chicken sandwiches are very tasty, small kebabs are massive...in fact, I can't say a bad word against them. The staff and delivery drivers are lovely

Can I just say thank you - absolutely not your fault that the driver delivered it to the wrong address! Can’t believe they accepted 🤦‍♀️ once I rang and explained I hadn’t had my order you kindly recooked and delivered to me - was hot and lovely - thank you.

Firstly, they are card only, but are more than happy to handle your food with the same hands they have just used to handle your cash. Secondly, they have no system. You may get your order or you may see it handed to the first pretty, young girl who bats their eyelids at the guys serving. How hygiene standards haven't shut them.down is a mystery only surpassed by why I had to wait for four girls to take my cheesy chips when it was all that was missing from my order.

1.20am and I’m 6 pints in ….Just eaten a king size kofte from these boys and right now, I sincerely think, that it was one of the greatest meals I’ve ever had, so nice, in fact that If I wasn’t so drunk I’d walk back and order another… delicious

Nice meat and lots of salad. Always fresh and on time. Not sure if portion sizes shouldn't be more precise. On pictures are apparently king size sharma and king size kofta, felt like medium/large. Never had that issue with donner done by those guys, king size was huge

Excellent This my first order Online order is very easy , you can edit everything including salad option and sauces , payment is very easy. Food is very delecious , very well prepared and the taste is really nice. very pleased with my my first order , hope their level will be same next times.

Me and my family have used this place for a long time now we normally come in on a Wednesday and the weekend and I have to say the food is absolutely amazing and it's good value for money. The staff are always so happy and friendly and they always remember me and my daughter when we come in and they all say hello to us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very dissapointed! I ordered chicken sandwich and the meat was raw! The piece of meat was very thick and like stone. I recommend burgers but not chicken.

I ordered a pizza with jalapenos and fresh tomato. They gave me a pizza with feta cheese and no tomato and refuse to change it. Apparently his receipt saying feta is correct and my email confirmation stating fresh tomato is wrong! Says he's busy yet nobody in there! Rude and nasty and can't get a simple order correct. Avoid

the quality of the food in my opinion was not the best , i had a chicken donna wrap , it is by far the most un tasty kebab i have ever eaten , i suppose how the owners look at this is , the majority of punters have had far to much to drink , so they don't notice the diffence , well i did , & i had a few , so ill vote with my feet on this one

Ordered kebab and burger this evening. Guy bringing didn't have any change so said I'd need to phone up and pay by card. Not what I wanted to do but I agreed. Opened the kebab and it was half full. Nowhere close to what i usually get. Wasnt worth the money. I called to pay by phone and told them it wasnt up to scratch. Guy on the phone wasnt bothered. No offer of a reduced price or any offer to try and rectify it. He took full payment and when I said I wouldn't be coming back just said ok. Dont waste your money! Certainly wont be going there again! Disgusting customer service.

Would go here from miles away to get their excellent kebabs. So much better than any others I had before. Staff are always friendly. Everybody are well prepared. Food comes quick. Card payments accepted. Parking can be slim as there is only roadside parking however I’ve always managed. Well done. Anytime again.

First off I’d like to say their food is good but tonight my experience was extremely dissatisfying I have been going to this kebab house for about 11 years now whether it be a dinner after an 11 hour shift or just a cheeky kebab on the way home. I’ve known for this time that they do not accept card. However I went in tonight saying “I know you usually just take cash but do you now have a system that takes card to which they replied “yes with a £7 minimum spend”. I had no qualms with this and ordered extra items to make my order over £7.00. About 30 seconds later a girl approached the register and said “I’m so sorry but I only have £5 on my card” to which one of the staff said “that’s ok, I’ll let you off” I then went on to say this isn’t treating customers fairly and I got shouted out by staff and customers making me feel like I was in the wrong. I felt that this was not great customer service and will taking my business elsewhere in the future. I sincerely hope that no one else is treated this way in the future. Golden kebab. I hope you improve your customer service skills and continuity

The best and only place for an early morning kebab!

Lovely food, nice staff, good location

Friendly (sometimes cheeky) staff, great food (mostly) and average prices. Shish kebabs are great, donner is same as anywhere else as it all comes from same supplier. Burgers are decent. Pizzas are ok but some of the ingredients seem cheap, especially ham, sausage and beef. I avoid fried chicken as it can sometimes be left in warming cabinet too long when they are quiet.

Terrible service honestly not worth going to go somewhere further for a better service. Awful, men. The main man Ali is the worst. Don’t do it. Disrespectful and disgusting men.
