Was surprised to see a kebab place rated so highly- tried it and can say its very worth it! Quality of the meats is better than some high end grill places, and they serve fresh Turkish bread (not supermarket pita). I'll definitely be back :)

£3 for a bag of mashed potato, opened as soon as I left the shop, it was a huge ball of mush stuck to the paper because they hadn't cooked them properly, not a single chip intact, other food quality very poor, not fresh, only frozen & they tried to over charge me too!

I called the restaurant asking if everything is halal and I was told everything is halal. On the Uber eats menu they had pukka pies which everyone knows is not halal. The owner had the nerve to say well that's your opinion and then try and educate Me on what halal means which according to him was anything that just contains pork or geletine. How ignaront must you be. The meat needs to be halal certified to claim all your meat is halal. Pethetic.

Coming from Deliveroo my order was cancelled (late and no riders due to cold). they made effort to deliver my food when Deliveroo could not ... this is proper customer service and I really appreciate it ! (ontop of the great food of course ;) ) . Wish i could give 6 stars for service !

Ordered from here on Deliveroo. Have been on a quest for a decent doner kebab as most of them are a drab, grey, greasy and salty mess. Finally think I’ve found the place to satisfy that craving… The meat was brown rather than grey, actually had flavour, had texture and not overly greasy. The salad was fresh and plentiful, likewise with the garlic and chilli sauces. The bread was the biggest shock, not your usual drab shop bought pita that is like cardboard. Crisp on the outside, airy and fluffy on the inside. Delicious. Also nice they served the salad and sauces on the side, kept the salad nice and crisp and fresh. I optimistically ordered a large not being sure of the portion sizes, since so many places on Deliveroo are shocking and was full halfway through. To top it off the packaging is all recyclable, which is a nice touch.

Best grilled food in the London area. You would never expect it but their grilled food is crazy. Great service and everything is cooked fresh to order. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend you try the grilled wings with rice.

A solid chippy with that old school vibe. Feels proper traditional - welcomed as soon as you enter and met with warm, friendly service until you leave. Food has never failed me and the drinks are well refrigerated. Good space to eat in and outdoors.

These lovely gents packed so much in my mixed doner wrap that I exploded with joy! Will take a few days to digest but i will be back Update: Their chicken doner wrap is certainly the best I’ve eaten in London so far. Quality is consistent and great value for money

My wife and I got a takeaway kebab here. The woman serving us was super friendly! Really appreciated it, especially considering how busy the place was. The kebab was brilliant! The range of options is massive. Thanks to the great service and food, I'll definitely be coming back.

Nice fresh tasting and healthy takeaway! The meat was well flavoured and good quality and the salad and toppings were fresh and generous portion sizes. Will def. order from here again.

Avoid! Went here over the weekend with some mates and we all ended up getting food poisoning. The hygiene standards here are so bad. The staff who handle the food are also touching other things like cash without wearing gloves or at least sanitising their hands in between. We even saw a small mouse near the back door of the restaurant! There are so many other kebab places around that are good quality, reasonably priced, and clean. Avoid!!! You have been warned…

로칼 맛집으로 보여요. 저도 구글 점수보고 왔는데. 손님이 되게 많고 왁자한 분위기입니다. 와인이랑 피쉬앤칩스(물고기는 Rock)를 시켜서 먹었어요. 칩스가 다른데랑 좀 다른 맛이에요. 저는 칩스는 잘모르지만 좀 더 입자가 고운거 같았습니다. 주인장도 친절하고 잘들어줍니다. 분위기는 좀 투박해요. 레스토랑 보다는 패스트푸드 음식집 같은 분위기입니다. 하지만 맛있었어요.

Me and my other half picked up our dinner from them and they accidentally forgot to put part of our oder in, we called to let them know maybe to give it to us next time but he asked for our address and delivered it in person with extras. ordered small cod and chips to eat in, told the price 8.50 and told to pay at the end. when we went to pay the price was 10.50. food was decent . just not impressed the price changed. pay upfront if you go

i was ordering the big fish and chips and it was excellent. i think that 2 people can order 1 dish like this because the half big fish is filled me well with the chips and the salad on th side . the service was quick and realy respectfully. the food is delicious, the service is excellent and the prices are good . its will not disappoint you

Literally driven across London for this, it’s THAT good! Found it on the off chance and now I am a seasoned regular, everything is fresh off the grill and the doner is fresh too, no greasy doner here. Their chilli sauce also on point! Also tried their fish, batter is nice and thin with just the right amount of crunch. Guys awarding Michelin stars if you’re seeing this….if you could give hawker chan a star (food no where near as nice) you need to come and check this place out.

Highly rated, visited this shop over the weekend and food was delicious, our kids are fussy eaters yet everyond enjoyed the meal. Staff were great, polite and very accommodating, very clean area to eat in and priced very reasonably considering how expensive food in london is.. Will defo visit again when im in london next time.

I've always loved this place, haven't been in over a year as I moved, went for a meal for my sons birthday ordered the massive £42 meat platter, food lovely as I remember but who ever that woman is who works there needs to be spoken to! 4 of us and she gives us a saucer size plate to put our food on! She was the most miserable woman I've ever seen, my mum went to put a bag in one of the chairs she gave her a horrible look and took the chair to another table, we kept our coats on as it was freezing and the door was left wide open, staff may be warm as they are in the hot kitchen but please think of your customers! I asked for a box when we left to put the left over meat in and was given a death stare from this woman, I was brave and asked for a carrier bag too 😅 staff used to be so friendly in there. If it wasn't the fact it was my sons birthday I'd have definitely complained to them and had a word with this woman, who also I saw coughing into her hand before putting food into the heated shelf things!!! Disgusting. Unfortunately we won't be coming back In response to the owner who replied that this is all lies. I wish it was, used to eat from your place all the time when I lived round there. One thing I forgot to add is that I will be reporting to hygiene standards, I have enough photos on my phone. Oh p.s when you serve the large family meat meal on 1 large plate, mabe give extra serving cutlery so we don't have to use our own forks, not very hygienic. Mabe also keep the toilet door closed when people are sat on the table outside it. We wasn't the only customers with the same opinion, table opposite had the same opinion. Hopefully they leave a review

Hidden gem in Bermondsey/Rotherhithe Southwark. Fish & Chips 5* Service 5* Relaxing environment to eat

Not often do you find a place that serves EXCELLENT fish & chips AND equally delicious kebabs. (And the fried chicken is better than any Kentuky fried Colonel!!) Fairly priced, fresh produce, always busy with a steady flow of hungry and happy tums. Well done lads (and ladies). Keep up the good work. :-)

For a local Kebab shop it's brilliant! Food is best around and staff are brilliant

I generally have a take away fish and chips most Fridays. The fish is fresh and the battering is very good, especially if you are patient enough to have it cooked for you (rather than getting what is on the warm shelf, which is in most cases empty anyway). Very friendly staff.

Despite the fact that this place serves kebabs too, the fish and chips is really authentic, with excellent fish cooked in those big traditional friers. I had fish and chips there after visiting the Bermondsey Beer Mile and it was very nice and clean with good service. Subsequently I also ordered food from here through Deliveroo, which was also very good.

A combination of Turkish specialities such as kebabs and halloumi wraps along with more traditional British fare such as fish and chips. In addition, its friendly staff are conscientious about serving only freshly cooked fish rather than selling items that have been sitting under the warmer lights for too long.

Everything is a very fresh and satisfying place. Cleanliness is completely perfect. I definitely recommend it. It is a restaurant to go with the family with peace of mind.

GG is the place to go to when hungry! The food comes in plenty and with a smile. Great guys behind the counter making excellent food. Döner’s are made in house so you really taste the difference. Cannot recommended enough!

They need more staff especially at lunch time when there is a rush, I have not eaten today now and I am having to go the rest of my working day with no food. I made sure I called before I traveled there and it has been half an hour and still no food, I was asked what I came in for, I answered and was left watching them run around serving seated customers.

Simply delicious food. The guys are great too. Pretty much always busy which tells you all you need to know.

While we've known of this place for a while we usually go elsewhere. As we tend to, for a family, we got the special, which as usual when did for four is plenty for five. This lost in price, but won on flavour. At 25% higher cost than our usual place is not really value for money, and it was a little less meat. However, the bread was much nicer. Not the regular flat pita bread, more like a naan in feel. However putting the meat in a bed of rice is also a good move. This soaked up any grease and was delicious. So overall, for taste, one of the best in the area, but a higher price than i'd expect for what you get.

First time eating here and it was absolutely lovely grub 😍 so much of of it aswell.

The food are absolutely delicious, portions are really big, the small portion is more than enaugh for big eater. Staff are friendly and polite, looking about you and your needs.
