This restaurant they don’t respect customers especially if your ordering online

Chicken fried rice, prawn fried rice, chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce, chicken chow mein, chicken and sweetcorn soup.. Very delicious 😋🤤 will be getting take away from here again. Cooked fresh good portions....

Really lovely food delivered quickly and tasted great!

Place was dirty and had a dead turtle kept in a tiny tiny container with barely any water. Can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like if they can’t even be bothered to clean where the customers see

Accidentally bought from this Chinese when I meant to order from Red Dragon further down the road - paid £19 for 3 items, chicken soup tasted overly sweet, S&P chips were undercooked under seasoned french fries and I paid £7 for 4 quarters of prawn toast. Totally ripped off and the food was awful. There are better chineses on Fawcett road.

First time ordering here and not impressed. Massively overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Spent £45 and no free prawn crackers when my local gives them if you spend £20. Food was bland, meat was over cooked and the chow mein had next to no meat in. Not happy with our order and ended up chucking it.

Delivery driver was polite, that’s it…… visiting at a local holiday park, politely called to ask if there was a delay and to make sure food was still coming when it was 15 mins late. Woman on phone was rude and when food did arrive most of it went in the bin. Tasteless, fatty, greasy and overpriced. Would rather go hungry! Avoid like the plague!

1) i pulled out a long black human hair from my mouth while chewing on one of their dumplings. as you can see in the pics, the hair is attached to the meat, suggesting it’s “cooked into” the meat, i.e. the hair was already there before the meat was cooked. so i called the restaurant. the very rude lady first insisted they’re not responsible because they purchase their dim sum frozen from a 3rd party and they just steam them. i tried to explain to her that since they’re the one who sold it to me, they’re responsible for this transaction between me and the restaurant, including compensations where applicable; it’s then their right to go after their supplier. the same way if i bought a defective coat from h&m, they can’t just tell me to go chase after some factory in vietnam that makes the coat and not give me an exchange or refund. the rude lady initially rejected this idea, but immediately said they’re not doing refunds because the delivery app company doesn’t pay them, and that they had customers ask refunds from them and also the delivery app company. just excuses after excuses, but she wouldn’t budge. (i’m currently still dealing with the panda food app, who said they’d refund me for the item but i haven’t yet received it.) 2) food-quality-wise: i’m born & bred in asia but spent my entire adulthood in the west, i’ve had more than my fair share of mediocre to bad dim sum. i have to say, this restaurant’s dim sum is by far the worst i’ve had. worse than any frozen dim sum i’ve had from any supermarket or convenience stores. they’re very greasy, the dumpling skins are very thick and disgusting (“snotty” is the word that comes to mind to describe the inside of the xlb soup dumplings). just… YUCK!!! 3) the disgusting dim sum here are super overpriced!!! there’s a place for decent dim sum in portsmouth that sells real authentic dim sum for like 2/3 the price at the end of commercial street, between McD and a chinese grocery shop. i’m not affiliated and i shall not name them, but it just breaks my heart when people are cheated and fooled to come to have negative views about one of my favorite foods.

I ordered chicken gyoza. They charged £ 7.50 for for 4 small gyoza. Hard as a rock. Chinese lady have been so rude . Food basically so salty never order again. So 👎

My order was amazing. Egg fried rice was soft and tons of flavour. My mixed seafood noodle soup was absolutely amazing, squid cooked perfectly and 5 large muscles that were definitely fresh. My boyfriends crispy shredded chilli beef was devoured in no time and said it had the perfect amount of kick to it, that it was for the taste but didn't make it difficult to eat. Only issue was that he ordered vegetable spring rolls but they came with pork, no issue for us though. Came with 2 mandarins, 2 yen for Chinese new year, 4 fortune cookies and some really nice smelling leaves. Was unsure seeing the reviews but gave it a go and my god it was good. Most authentic Asian food we've had in a long time. Definitely ordering again

I LOVE a Chinese and this is the best I have had! Chilli salt chips, deep fried tofu, mock chicken in black bean sauce, onion rings and spring rolls. All SUPER tasty! 10/10

This used to be my local regular Chinese years ago and after seeing the bad reviews, I thought these can’t be true... BIG mistake! The most overpriced slice of bread and charcoal you can’t even cook with. The “Large spring rolls” were not large, were burned inside and tasted like they looked. The “Sesame Prawn toast” was a rip off at £5.80 for one slice of deep-fried coated bread and £3.30 for the dip, together costing more than my main dish. Won’t be going back!!

The worst Chinese I have ever ordered, I ordered the curry and It was disgusting. Chicken was vile the chips was skinny and rubbish and hardly no sauce. waited over an hour for food for it to just go in bin very disappointing never again!.

Made the mistake of ordering from here without looking at the reviews - worst takeaway I've had in a long time. Everything tasted bland and pretty much just tasted wrong, and it arrived cold. From all these reviews there is no wonder they are changing the name of their kitchen.

Worst dim sum I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating... do not get dim sum from here... over priced, greasy, not fresh.... disgusting.... avoid at all costs!

Aggressive delivery driver and very late delivery. I ordered through Deliveroo and after waiting the initial 1 hour wait time, I had no updates from deliveroo or the restaurant as to any delay or a revised time. After waiting an additional 30 minutes I tried to phone them many times with the line stating the phone had not been paid for and will not go through. Eventually a number called me back and said that I should go outside and 'have a look'. After waiting 10 minutes an aggressive man pulled up got out of the car and proceeded to shout at me and get in my face (not ideal during the Pandemic) stating that I should not go through Deliveroo and that he had been waiting for an hour. After paying £3.50 for an appalling delivery service my food was cold. Thankfully Deliveroo were very understanding of this. I will definitely not be ordering from here again!

I ordered Siu Long Soup bun, and I paid 7.50 to only get 4 very small pieces. Completely overpriced and not worth it. waste of people's money and time.

Ordered food here via uber eats 2 hours later still no food and they are 2 minutes by Google maps away, phoned 3 times and just lied to that its with a the driver and still nothing, just dreadful rude service

Scam, terrible. We ordered Dim Sum but we have received as per photo.The restaurant even refused to return or refund, ridiculous!

Terrible food, soggy prawn balls, tasteless prawn toast, spare ribs tasted like they were made last week and heated up with zero flavour. This place needs a massive change to do well- very poor food and I also complained to the lady- she came over and was extremely rude when all I wanted was a refund. She never apologised and was so defensive, she throw the money at me. I will never ever go back here- I will warn people never to eat here.

This was the worst Chinese meal I've ever had. Over priced and dripping in oil. The dim sum city platter was the most disgusting thing I've ever received. It was over cooked literally dripping in horrible oil and cost £16.50 we put it in the bin! The bill cost £89.50, £5.50 was delivery charge which for the money we spent should in my opinion not have been charged. There was also 50p service? The most expensive part was £1.50 for a can (yes a can) of coke. If I could actually choose no stars I would. My concern is just eat is listing this place a 4 stars what a joke. I've added the bill so you can see what we ordered.

Poor service. Ordered via just eat approx 90mins before they shut. 40 mins after placing the order I get a notification saying they have cancelled the order. It is now 11pm most places have shut but this place is still open for another 45mins so no clue why they cancelled the order or why it took them 40mins after the order to do so. Ordered due to house move and most cooking stuff is packed.

Never order from this restaurant the food is tasteless and costs a fortune. Then when you call the restaurant they tell you its not their problem. The name literally suits cause the food is dim and it cost some as well!!

Food was ok but very expensive. Order placed was over £62 and they didn’t even put some complimentary Prawn Crackers in with the order.

How these people stay in business i have no idea ! food ( and i use the term lightly) was cold ,undercooked and tasteless ! complaints fell on deaf ears ! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE !

Only good thing was quick delivery, but they delivered to the wrong place even when we said twice where we wanted it. The seaweed was horrible, and there were no prawn crackers. Also the spring rolls were not vegetarian :(

Food delivered half an hour after they said it would be delivered, driver went to the wrong house and was rude on the phone. Called up the store to explain the situation and they tried to blame the drivers lateness on us. Customer service is incredibly poor and the food was just okay, nothing special.

If I could rate lower than one star I would. It was half an hour late because the driver was given the wrong address. Spoke with the driver on the phone and he got irate with me and hung up. Called the resturant to let them know and they also hung up on me when I asked for the £5.50 delivery to be refunded. When the driver finally turned up he tried to go next door, did not apologise and the food was lukewarm and below average quality.

Won't be ordering from here again simply because the food is very mediocre nothing is seasoned so it was all very bland. The sweet and sour pork was just dry cut up pork squares in batter that was extremely greasy. Although they gave me very big portions it doesn't make up for the fact that everything was so poorly made. Quite disappointed wish i had read the google reviews before ordering on deliveroo where it had good ratings for some reason.

Ordered a takeaway meal and it turned up 35 minutes later than the delivery slot, the food was cold and chewy so actually became inedible. Their reference phone number is permanently engaged so you cannot easy contact them. Their ratings appear to be boosted by certain individuals that post maximum ratings within an hour of each other so their online presence is suspect. We used an online ordering service and even they could not deal effectively with them so was left out of pocket with no dinner and a negative experience. The staff refused to to accept their food was at fault and refund us. Not recommended at all for delivery services. Only have one star as I cannot go lower.

The delivery was half an hour late, when we phoned the restaurant we received a woman shouting down the phone. Absolutely terrible service. When we eventually got the food it was questionable if the chicken was even cooked, it was bland and disgusting. Would NOT recommend.

Paid over £38 for a Chinese that even the cat turned his nose up at the duck it was that bad! Chips were served in a plastic box so was sweaty and soggy! Ordered crispy shredded chicken that came as pieces of chicken breast and was just a soggy as the chips (was expecting crispy shredded chicken as it said!) ordered at 7:25 turned up at 9:00 half hour later than said. Do not fall for reviews on just eat the best in my eyes is Fortune House in Drayton.

Absolutely disgusting!! Food arrived and driver didn't have any change. Only had £10 on him! So took my food, went back to resturaunt and said would come back with the same food and my change. I called resturaunt as soon as he left and the so called manager was rude and useless. I said from when the food was cooked to it now being delivered a 2nd time to me it's been a long period of time! His response was " well we could cook you fresh food but your not going to know if we have or not are you!!!" When I finally got my food and started to eat it , it was disgusting and threw it away. That was on Saturday, ever since I have had sickness and bad stomach and still so poorly 5 days later!!

I live 10 minutes on foot from that place , and the delivery time took 2 hours. They wouldn't give me a discount , saying " my driver might be in a traffic jam" even tho its 12am on a sunday! This place is absolute irresponsible when it comes to customers. The driver was absolutely rude and uncooperative. He even lied about the time the order was placed. I would rate this fast food as -10 ( MINUS 10). Worst possible review.

Poor waited over an hour for delivery it came and was missing sauce and veg and drinks. Was already cold and by the time the rest came was pointless over priced for what you get paid £13 for a dim sum platter that Iceland could have made a better job. Don't bother it's over priced , cold and you will still hungry and disappointed at the end of it.

Absolutely disgusting service. Driver dropped of wrong order, we called the restaurant immediately and they said we would have our order in ten mins. 20 mins later we called again and the guy on the phone started shouted down the phone and explained that the driver was finishing his round of first and would still be another 30 mins before he got back to us. When we complained that our food would've been in the car for about an hour, he then started laughing down the phone. Fuming.

Second time I've ordered from here. Food was delivered earlier than stated and arrived hot. Unfortunately I can't eat it as it tastes funny and left a nasty taste in the back of my mouth. They are expensive for what u get aswell. Unfortunately I won't be ordering again from here

Should have read the reviews here before ordering. Ordered via hungryhouse, took over two hours to arrive, no sauce for the spring rolls, no sauce for the crispy duck. The spring rolls appeared to have been lightly battered - never seen that before, bit of a shame - the filling was nice enough that they could have been the best part of the meal. Couldn't convince myself to finish any of what I ordered, really recommend you look elsewhere for your food.

I've eaten here a few times with no problems but this order all my family are violently sick with food poisoning. Won't be ordering from here again.

Terrible service. food was cold, oily and things missing. We waited 1.5 hrs after the expected delivery time. With no contact from this place. We Called to make a complaint and offered 20% off if we ordered again. 20%?! After spending £40 why would I order here again?! Management were no help and ordering helpline and complaint was useless. Do Not Order here!!!

Don't waste your time! We ordered through the Hungry House App, but food took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive, by which time it was cold! Hungry house phoned the take away but kept getting hung up on. We phoned them direct to see where the food was, but was told it was out for delivery. A further half hour went by with still no sign of the food. When it did finally arrive, it was cold and the quality was questionable. Hungry house offered a small gesture as compensation, but nowhere near enough, and said they had spoken to the take away who said they would contact us direct to offer compensation. To our surprise, we did receive a call offering half a duck on our next order, but don't fancy going through the palaver again to get half a cold duck, nearly 2 hours after ordering! Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

Disgusting service,!!!!!! The gentleman (and I use that term loosely!!!!) who answered the phone had an impressive attitude and was patronising and condescending throughput my order. He talked over me and continued with "I'm just doing that" everytime I asked him a question. Most appalling service I have EVER received. Quite a shame considering you are the only Chinese in the area open on a Monday! Will not use and will certainly not recommend....would have given ZERO STARS if I could!!!!!!

The worst customer service ever! I Waited 2 hours for my delivery. 1st phone call they said they were on the way (the shop is a 15min walk away), second phone call (20mins later) they told me the food left 5 mins ago. I called the 3rd time (15mins later - and getting very impatient) for them to say it's on it's way again. Not long after, recieved a phone call from the driver who said he was finding parking, so he'll be here in a few minutes. 4th phone call (15 mins later - I have been waiting 2 hours by now (bearing in mind I was starving, 3 adults and 2 children under 10 waiting)) for them to tell me that because I was angry during the last phone call, they cancelled the whole order. RIDICULOUS!!! Worst place ever!! NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered from the dim sum menu. Even though I was hungry I had to spit most of it out as it was so bad. Never again.

After 1 hour 55 minutes, of waiting for the food, this shop has stopped answering telephone calls. Rip off merchants and cheats, avoid these people
