Best fish supper in a very long time despite them being very busy, and long queue round the corner. Fish and batter perfect as were the chips.

Fantastic Fish n' chips. Portions are fantastic for the price. I had a fish supper, a haddock. The batter was golden, crispy and no bones in the fish. Fish meat was cooked well, not dry and succulent. The chips, well sized, crispy outside fluffy inside. Additional drinks, pickled eggs, onions, gherkins, etc are available. The establishment is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and always busy. Which is a good sign of a good fish and chips shop. Excellent produce.

Will always use the Golden chip. Fantastic food is always served here. Great staff always helpful and polite. Highly recommend.

Stopped off here on Sunday after Church 28/4/24 & it was a sunny 🌞 afternoon. I fancied a special fish 🐠 & it tasted quite nice & asked for a wee drop of tomato 🍅 sause in the corner of the box & you can be the judge, if it was a wee dollop or not 😂 Notice the Rost Coffee café next door 🚪 WELL don't forget to pay them a visit 'cos the coffee ☕ tastes just great AND their cakes 🍰 aren't dry but nice & moist 👍

54 North Main StreetAbsolutely horrendous service appalling staff arguing in the background when we were making the order - waited and hour and 20 mins when it’s 5 min from my address it arrived stone cold and when we phoned to complain we were told “tough” NEVER AGAIN and I’d advise everyone to avoid the place!!
