Cello's in Falkirk

Very good fish and chips!! So much better than the one I had in Oban in a restaurant, the fish crust was so thick, oily and hard, and the chips were frozen, but here homemade chips and the perfect fish batter!!! 👍👍🤗🤗

Great fish and chips. Good portion, batter is crisp and taste great. Best chip shop in area. I have also had the pizza in the past they are really good too.

Very very very good chippie has a good selection of food it can be very fast depending on what you order,Sausages are decent.

I ordered a paneer saag and it was the worst I have had by far. Really tasteless and bland. I wasted my money and will not return

Cello’s provided pizzas for our P7 leavers disco again this year and as always it was fantastic. The kids loved the pizzas and chips with very little left over. Much appreciated!

Popped in for a fish supper and a white pudding. My wife got a pizza Amazing . Worth the drive from west Lothian. Great service and food.

They sold us a totally burnt-in-the-bottom pizza, something not healthy and disgusting to eat. They check if pizzas are ready, precisely checking the bottom, so there is no way they did not notice. Instead of doing it again, they preferred to sell it to us. Once contacted, they just replied, “sorry, it shouldn’t have happened”. Did not offer another pizza or any compensation. Really no forward-looking; they lost five loyal customers. It’s probably their standard.

Fantastic chippy! Every supper we've tried has been great - very tasty & we've only recently tried the freshly baked oven pizzas which are delicious too! We've moved away from the area & really miss not having Cello's nearby any longer, but we were back at the weekend & made sure to stop off at Cello's & again it didn't disappoint! Would highly recommend!

Best chippy in the area. Do a really good traditional pizza too. Always busy!

If you like fish and chips,patoto fritter or any other chippie food you must try from Cello’s.Food from them is always fresh,delicious and crunchy,you dont taste any oil,its made so good and taste amazing,i could eat food from them every day,best chip shop ever

We got a fish supper and a sausage supper tonight at around 7.30pm, the sausage had obviously been lying for hours, the batter was solid, the fish was the same, it was disgusting, how they even served that food was beyond belief. £15 thrown in the bin.

Worth the wait as food is always cooked fresh and very tasty. Decent prices too.

Worst takeaway I have ever had. Fish cold batter hard chips full of grease. Had to wait for over 30 mins for food. Young girl unpleasant. Will definitely not be back.

Well to start with asked for a cheese and onion pizza crunch ... only to get a cheese only .... was as dry as a stick ... worst pizza crunch I have ever gad in my life ... if I didn't stay so far away I would have taken it back

Queuing system unfathomable. 4 people who ordered after me were served before me. I had to wait on a special fish but the person 3 behind also ordered a special and was served well before me. No excuse given. Wont be back!

Fresh made and good sized portions, I do hope they keep it this way nothing worse than food thats been sitting in the heater for ages drying out. Food comes in a box, staff are friendly.

Every time ive been, its been over a half hour wait for nothing but a bag of bloody chips. Rude workers aswell, always staring and laughing at there literal customers. Food may be good but the wait most definetly isni.

Fish supper. Fish cooked to order. Good fish and chips. Nice and hot. Didn't have to wait too long but was worth it. Fresh fish 🐟 nicely battered. Go try some. They have chilli haggis. I'm gonna try that.

When you collect, there is nothing better out there. It'll be busy, because it's good. So make sure you've got time to wait and an empty belly

First time we have ued cellos very impressed food was hot fresh and high quality will certainly order from here again .

Beat Fish and Chips in Falkirk!!

Had traditional fish and chips. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and generous portions. First visit, but will try it again to see if the standard continues.

Ordered two bags of chips and the girl said it would be 6 mins. Stood outside in the cold for 25 mins. Terribly disorganised and woefully understaffed. Will be going elsewhere next time.

Fish was awful. Grey colour tiny and tasted of nothing. Chips chewy and overcooked. Horrible and waste of money.

Was so looking forward to a lovely fish supper tonight but was left so disappointed ☹️ Such a shame as the fish was lovely but it was completely wasted with the hard chewy chips that were with it. Definitely tasted like reheats !!!

Clean and modern style.staff friendly. Chips were chewy and not so pleasent unfortunately. Steak pie good quality but rather dry. Maybe just unlucky with timing?

Usually a very good chippy,last night bought two fish suppers,when I got home and opened it chips were cold and stodgy, fish not much better...others in area better..

Told half hour for delivery over a hour later it arrived asked if it was still hot and told yes just out of shop must of been sitting on pizza oven for 45mins was hot at bottom of bag rest was cold and greasy this was the best chippy when it opened now you can’t get fish none left can’t get pakora none left what we do have is cold and past it’s best very let down

The best fish and chips in a long time

I’m always excited to get dinner from Cello’s. The food is fresh and delicious, prepared to order. The staff are delightful and deliver some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Prices are great value and the place is always packed. I’d put their pizzas up against Paesano’s. Really impressed and I highly recommend eating here.

Has been great for months however the past 2 weeks using cheaper fish not haddock and its not as good.

Never fails to disappoint, best fish and chips in the area and the haggis fritters are awesome! Thoroughly would recommend.

So disappointed, was leaving my boyfriends house at half past 10 and was craving some chips and a slushie but as we pulled up at 10:35 the shop was closed already on a normal day.. extremely annoyed.
