Our experience in this restaurant was amazing! From Paulo, our waiter to the food, everything was great!

The flat iron steak was phenomenal! One of the best steaks we've had, cooked Blue and perfect. Jack was the best table waiter, very knowledgeable and great sence of humour. Even sorted a surprise birthday pudding for my partner. We will be back, what an experience. Thank you.

Jack’s customer service was impeccable, and his charm? Dangerously high levels. He made every guest feel like royalty while dishing out more laughs than a Netflix special. His jokes came in faster than the steak hit the grill—and that steak was cooked to absolute perfection, by the way. Need a refill? Jack's already on it. Looking confused? Jack’s there with a joke and a solution. Considering skipping dessert? Jack will convince you otherwise, and somehow make you laugh while doing it. I'm not saying Jack should run for office... but I'd vote for him. So here's my advice: come for the steak, stay for Jack. This man is a rare (pun intended) gem in the hospitality world. I’ve dined in places with chandeliers worth more than my car, but none have offered an experience as memorable as an evening at Golden Bull with Jack steering the ship. Five stars, a standing ovation, and a toast to Jack—the true golden bull of Golden Bull. Return visitor and once again an excellent meal and service, fronted by Paulo. Had a meal with family, including two teenage boys. Excellent variety of food and drink, served in a timely manner with excellent table side conduct from the team on site. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

Went for a family visit after bowling on a Sunday afternoon. Pleasantly surprised, staff very friendly and attentive. My starter of chicken wings and blue cheese, the blue cheese sauce was not blue cheesy enough sadly, chicken wings were fine. Main course of barbecue ribs was very nice, one person had the Sunday roast which was great. We’ve been let down so many times by rubbish roast and as it was our first visit a lot of us avoided it, but def get it on our next visit. Portion sizes for the roast were large. Dirty burger was monstrous and lovely, onion rings huge and tasty. Two steaks again very nice indeed. Overall positive experience, good service and good food. Defo return for the Sunday roast at least…..

My husband and I went for lunch and weren’t disappointed. We were recommended the steak, the steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth.

Excellent steak and probably one of the best services I have ever seen. Jack is the one who served our table, he provided outstanding services to us. He took care everyone in our table nicely, and cracked some of the funniest jokes in a very appropriate manner. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful meal for mother's Day. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel very special the food was delicious especially the Roast beef and the baklava. The service was brilliant our waiter Jack went out of his way to make sure we all had an amazing time and we will certainly be coming back.

Me and my girlfriend have just moved from Belfast to camberley, and chose the golden bull for our first dinner out. Paulo was extremely good to us, served us very professionally, and made sure our table was happy the entire time. The food was also delicious and we will 100% be back for more, especially since Paulo got us signed up to the loyalty card! All the more reason to return. Thanks Paulo, you were fantastic and welcomed us to camberley brilliantly! Also, the lunch menu with two courses was a great price, and the burger was great!

We had Paulo as our waiter. He was very professional and polite. Gave great service and explained everything very well. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our meal. Altough there are other choices on the menu, this is a really good restaurant if you are a steak lover. We'd eaten here before and so we knew what to expect. The dining area is a decent size with a well-stocked bar. The tables are simple and not fussy (which I like), and waiters are attentive, but not in your face. They are also very knowleagible about the food and are happy to give advice, if requested. When we went, there was an à la carte menu and a more limited lunch menu. We opted for the former and started with the trio of dips (tzatziki, hummus and guacamole) served with warm pitta bread. We decided to share this because it was a fairly substantial plate of food. All of the dips were very tasty and not swimming in olive oil which was a definite plus. We ordered the 16oz ribeye steak and an 8oz sirloin, both cooked according to the recommendation on the menu. These were accompanied by salads and some garlic mushrooms. We couldn't fault the steaks, as they were cooked to perfection, as were the mushrooms. This is not a cheap meal, but you do get what you pay for, and although it costs a bit extra compared with prices at other restaurants, it's definitely worth it for a decent, reliably cooked steak.

Well it's OK. But it's a bit like anything written by Lee Child: interesting at the time but after finishing it you wait a few days and forget everything about it. The place is clean and tidy and modern. The staff (broadly singular at the time of our visit) were/was fine (but read on). The menu was varied. But it was like so many other places both in terms of décor and style and what was on offer. As such it was pretty unremarkable. But the food was, in the main, cooked well (my broccoli was underdone and my wife's steak was a little tough, but neither enough to warrant taking action over). Everything was presented competently but with no great flair. Service was a little dilatory at times, probably due to the number of staff available. Prices were slightly higher than competing establishments. Overall better than those similar places offered by the big pub chains (M&B, Fullers, Greene King) but not sufficiently better to warrant the price differential. But this place is, I suspect, seeking a different clientele. A point in their favour was the fact that they didn't sneakily add the often ubiquitous “discretionary service charge” on the bill; this only appears if there's six or more of you. Overall a marking of 'average' which reflects TA's scoring system. It merits slightly higher than that but not enough, in my opinion, a 'very good'.

The Sunday roast here is absolutely excellent - its great value in this day and age, the team & service is superb and it is just overall 10/10 and becoming part of the ritual. Can’t recommend enough!

We were in a bit of a rush, but the staff was considerate and helpful. We got our food pretty fast and made it to our next plans. Food was excellent, we had chateaubriand for two, and fried squid and prawns on toast type of starter. The starter was a bit odd but it was tasty. The steak was absolutely delicious, we like it rare even though it's recommended medium rare. I think rare was perfection, melts in your mouth and lots of flavor. Already planning to come again.

We had a lovely evening, I had a very good steak, very tasty, it came as I asked, my daughter had a rib eye brilliant and my wife had a 3 course with some fish , dessert and starter. It is not cheap but is worth it all the way, It was amazing 🤩

Went here on a lunch whim for our anniversary and very pleased we did. The food isn’t cheap but everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection. The calamari starter was better than any I’ve had before, and somehow even the grilled tomato caught me by surprise with its flavour. The chef we had, Marcin, apparently really knows how to season his dishes. Jack, our server, was pleasant and welcoming too. We will definitely be going back, and recommending to friends and family.

I ordered the Beer Battered fish and chips, the fish was immensely large, moist, and well seasoned. The chips were crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and again, very well seasoned. The one thing I’d change about the meal was that the peas were a little flat in flavour. Our server, Robbie was very friendly and offered a polite, friendly service. He did his job well as he even performed the “upsell” on one of my family members. The environment is very welcoming and extravagant. With its dimly lit atmosphere and its blended wall colouring, it is a very unique and well thought out place. For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Brownie. Absolutely would recommend, with its warm interior and crunchy, chocolatey exterior, the chocolate flavour really pops out. The decadent ice cream also adds to its flavour, contrasting the temperature between the two desserts. Its vanilla flavouring was very present. Also, I must add the plating was very good, even swirls of chocolate drizzle, symmetrical style when plating. Overall, very pleasing to the eyes on both courses. I highly recommend the Golden Bull, even if it is a tiny bit pricey 9.7/10 :D

Food is outstanding and meal was very much enjoyed 😋 However, the quality really can’t justify the price. I am a strong believer in ‘You get what you pay for’ when it comes to eating out. Nevertheless, I have had better elsewhere and it cost somewhat less. Even with the set menu, the bill was quite a shock. Beers were around £7 a pint, but still somewhat less than wine and cocktails. All in all, a wonderful meal for the taste buds, but not for the bank balance! 🥩🤩👍 🧾 😳 😢

It was our first visit for my husband’s birthday. We had a lovely dinner. The decor of the restaurant is inviting, cosy, aesthetically pleasing, the seating is comfy, tastefully decorated.
