Jack our server was fantastic- really lovely guy and made us laugh. He was super kind and was fantastic at his job. The food was great also, will definitely be coming back!

We had Paulo as our waiter. He was very professional and polite. Gave great service and explained everything very well. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our meal. I had steak and my girlfriend had chicken. It was so succulent and mouth watering. Exceptional and excellent service. Would defo recommend 😄

Altough there are other choices on the menu, this is a really good restaurant if you are a steak lover. We'd eaten here before and so we knew what to expect. The dining area is a decent size with a well-stocked bar. The tables are simple and not fussy (which I like), and waiters are attentive, but not in your face. They are also very knowleagible about the food and are happy to give advice, if requested. When we went, there was an à la carte menu and a more limited lunch menu. We opted for the former and started with the trio of dips (tzatziki, hummus and guacamole) served with warm pitta bread. We decided to share this because it was a fairly substantial plate of food. All of the dips were very tasty and not swimming in olive oil which was a definite plus. We ordered the 16oz ribeye steak and an 8oz sirloin, both cooked according to the recommendation on the menu. These were accompanied by salads and some garlic mushrooms. We couldn't fault the steaks, as they were cooked to perfection, as were the mushrooms. This is not a cheap meal, but you do get what you pay for, and although it costs a bit extra compared with prices at other restaurants, it's definitely worth it for a decent, reliably cooked steak.

Well it's OK. But it's a bit like anything written by Lee Child: interesting at the time but after finishing it you wait a few days and forget everything about it. The place is clean and tidy and modern. The staff (broadly singular at the time of our visit) were/was fine (but read on). The menu was varied. But it was like so many other places both in terms of décor and style and what was on offer. As such it was pretty unremarkable. But the food was, in the main, cooked well (my broccoli was underdone and my wife's steak was a little tough, but neither enough to warrant taking action over). Everything was presented competently but with no great flair. Service was a little dilatory at times, probably due to the number of staff available. Prices were slightly higher than competing establishments. Overall better than those similar places offered by the big pub chains (M&B, Fullers, Greene King) but not sufficiently better to warrant the price differential. But this place is, I suspect, seeking a different clientele. A point in their favour was the fact that they didn't sneakily add the often ubiquitous “discretionary service charge” on the bill; this only appears if there's six or more of you. Overall a marking of 'average' which reflects TA's scoring system. It merits slightly higher than that but not enough, in my opinion, a 'very good'.

We were in a bit of a rush, but the staff was considerate and helpful. We got our food pretty fast and made it to our next plans. Food was excellent, we had chateaubriand for two, and fried squid and prawns on toast type of starter. The starter was a bit odd but it was tasty. The steak was absolutely delicious, we like it rare even though it's recommended medium rare. I think rare was perfection, melts in your mouth and lots of flavor. Already planning to come again.

We had a lovely evening, I had a very good steak, very tasty, it came as I asked, my daughter had a rib eye brilliant and my wife had a 3 course with some fish , dessert and starter. It is not cheap but is worth it all the way, It was amazing 🤩

Robbie gave us a lovely experience by being friendly and welcoming. We had the Ribeye steak and Sea Bass fillets which tasted amazinggg! Defo recommend.

From start to finish, our experience at Golden Bull was nothing short of exceptional. The rib eye was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and bursting with juiciness. Every bite was a delight! The service was outstanding, Jack went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Went here on a lunch whim for our anniversary and very pleased we did. The food isn’t cheap but everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection. The calamari starter was better than any I’ve had before, and somehow even the grilled tomato caught me by surprise with its flavour. The chef we had, Marcin, apparently really knows how to season his dishes. Jack, our server, was pleasant and welcoming too. We will definitely be going back, and recommending to friends and family.

I ordered the Beer Battered fish and chips, the fish was immensely large, moist, and well seasoned. The chips were crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and again, very well seasoned. The one thing I’d change about the meal was that the peas were a little flat in flavour. Our server, Robbie was very friendly and offered a polite, friendly service. He did his job well as he even performed the “upsell” on one of my family members. The environment is very welcoming and extravagant. With its dimly lit atmosphere and its blended wall colouring, it is a very unique and well thought out place. For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Brownie. Absolutely would recommend, with its warm interior and crunchy, chocolatey exterior, the chocolate flavour really pops out. The decadent ice cream also adds to its flavour, contrasting the temperature between the two desserts. Its vanilla flavouring was very present. Also, I must add the plating was very good, even swirls of chocolate drizzle, symmetrical style when plating. Overall, very pleasing to the eyes on both courses. I highly recommend the Golden Bull, even if it is a tiny bit pricey 9.7/10 :D

Food is outstanding and meal was very much enjoyed 😋 However, the quality really can’t justify the price. I am a strong believer in ‘You get what you pay for’ when it comes to eating out. Nevertheless, I have had better elsewhere and it cost somewhat less. Even with the set menu, the bill was quite a shock. Beers were around £7 a pint, but still somewhat less than wine and cocktails. All in all, a wonderful meal for the taste buds, but not for the bank balance! 🥩🤩👍 🧾 😳 😢

Golden Bull is the best thing to happen to Camberley in a long time. Not only is the food exquisite, the decor is so stunning and the service is top class. Our server James was absolutely brilliant. Taking time to make sure the kitchen was fully updates with my little boy's intolerances and his attention to detail was great Thank for a lovely time Golden Bull and wishing more well deserved success

It was our first visit for my husband’s birthday. We had a lovely dinner. The decor of the restaurant is inviting, cosy, aesthetically pleasing, the seating is comfy, tastefully decorated. Our friendly server, Andi, was professional, warm & attentive. Meals were served in good time, well tastefully prepared, presented & served. I felt like I could sit for hours enjoying the ambience. I have visited on a number of occasions - really nice restaurant. Great food and fairly priced for the quality. On one occasion I ordered the fish with a side of greens. The waiter said “oooo, taking the healthy options?!” How did he know I never normally take the healthy option. :( All good fun. Five Stars.

A delicious dinner, we had the golden bull experience, a selection of steaks, with the best onion rings, bbq beef bone marrow, sides and sauces. Coupled with really attentive service, all round a great meal out!

Had NYE set menu and it was fantastic and good value too.The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Hubby is a med cooked guy, I can never get him to go med/rare. He did this time and that is now going to be his cooking choice after being advised by our server Kyle that this was recommended Kyle was brilliant, kept us fed watered and he has a good personality, which added to the overall experience. We will certainly be going back.

I went with a group. I ordered the lamb. It's was delicious. The meat fell off the bone. The prosecco was lovely too, and reasonably priced. The waiter (American) was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

First time at the Golden Bull as we are from out of town and what a delight it was. Warm friendly greating and shown to our table straight away. Drinks and food ordered with Kyle our waiter for the evening and what a nice young gentleman he was and very professional in his duties. Drinks served within minutes and starters not too far behind that were of generous portions and my wife is still saying the garlic prawns were fantastic. The mains didn't disappoint and all steaks cooked to our liking. The venue itself was busy with a lovely lively atmosphere and great time had by all and we can highly recommend at visit to the Golden Bull, Camberly.

Kyle was an attentive and personable server and made sure our needs were met. The food was outstanding and, despite the high price, worth every penny. The fillet steak was a perfect rare and went beautifully with the blue cheese sauce. The restaurant was a little quiet but I’ll put that down to it being a Sunday evening. We booked to go again 5 days later which is as good a review as any!

We went here for my son's 40th Birthday meal . The food was lovely the best we've had for a long time. Our server I think his name was Rob?was so friendly and professional. There were 11 of us everyone's meals were served all at the same time no waiting around for the next meal to come out unlike other restaurants we've been to in the past . Best steakhouse ever !! I haven’t had a good steak like this in a while , cooked as requested medium the sauce was perfect even the starter which was nachos and bruschetta were delicious , the staff all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great first experience there of Sunday roast. Obrigada Paolo and the rest of the team for attentive prompt service. Not a lot of meat on the plate for meat eaters, but that suited me. The veggies and sides perfectly cooked and super tasty. We'll be back.

Wonderful evening at The Golden Bull last night with friends. The atmosphere was buzzing and owner Teo and his team made a great job of providing us with a superb meal to enjoy. Our waiter Paulo was charming and extremely attentive adding to our enjoyment so thank you. The Tomahawk steak we shared was absolutely delicious served with equally tasty sides of thick cooked chips, mixed salad, onion rings and garlic mushrooms all scrum-my. Cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Obviously washed down with a couple of bottles of delightful red wine. Our friends had the Chateaubriand and it looked amazing too! How very special to find an independently owned steakhouse with such brilliant staff. Well done Teo your hard work and fantastic team have given us a real treat and made lovely memories for us to look back on
