The restaurant has a cozy ambiance. Food is remarkably delicious. Had the 16oz ribeye and the banoffee pie which are incredibly delectable! Paulo has been so attentive and had very good service from him. He goes way beyond what’s expected and accommodated us really well. This restaurant is highly recommended if you are looking for a high rated place in Camberley. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wasn’t particularly impressed with my food choices (Loaded Nachos - flavourless cheese & my Barata salad was too oily for me) but hubby and son LOVED theirs! Especially the Chateaubriand! Our waiter was sweet if a little precocious - but I am old fashioned !!

I had a lovely mackerel pate. That was so yummy for my starter. Then had rump steak and chips. Chips were lovely but the rump steak was too fatty. Low quality rump steak. I get a better rump steak from Costco but, we had sweet and because the steak was not good they gave us our sweets for nothing which they did not have to do but was much appreciated. All in all I will go back again as the food generally is very good. Very pleasant waitress. Don't know her name but she was very nice to me and my wife. Thankyou. Finally my creme brulee was a bit bland with no taste of vanilla which I've had before but I can try another sweet next time.

I recently visited Golden Bull for lunch and had an exceptional dining experience. We opted for both the lunch menu and the set menu, and from start to finish, everything was delightful. Our waiter, Paulo, provided outstanding service. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and showed true dedication to his job. Paulo ensured that we were well taken care of and maintained the restaurant's cleanliness to a high standard, which added to the pleasant dining environment. The food was nothing short of fantastic. We started with the cream mushrooms, a baked mushroom dish topped with rich, flavorful cheese. It was a delicious and satisfying way to begin our meal. For the main courses, we tried the rib-eye, rump steak, and sea bass. Each dish was perfectly cooked. The rib-eye and rump were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the sea bass was fresh, cooked just right, and free from any unpleasant fishy odor. The dishes were served at the ideal temperature, and the seasoning was well-balanced, highlighting the natural flavors without overpowering them. For dessert, we enjoyed the brownie, crème brûlée, and profiteroles. All three were outstanding—rich in chocolate flavor, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to our meal. Our lunch at Golden Bull was a truly wonderful experience. The combination of excellent service, especially from Paulo, and the delicious offerings from both the lunch and set menus made it a meal to remember. We will definitely be returning!

Steak and blue cheese sauce was banging, as was the after 8 mint cocktail - tasted like mint aero! Robbie was lovely, as was the blonde lady with glasses who took our order.

Some off the food was a little of a let down especially for the prices all a little slow to arrive although clearly cooked to order. The service however was outstanding absolutely first rate

Nice quiet Wednesday evening. Not much atmosphere. Food was limited for vegetarians and the Banofee pie my friend had was odd. Did complain and received another dessert FOC.

It was absolutely excellent all around, from the warm welcome, quality of food and the teams’s authentic and genuine guest service. What a brilliant restaurant you have. You all deserve the absolute best and we’ll certainly be recommending you to everyone we know!

The great reviews bought us here all the way from Brighton. The steak was excellent and the service was exemplary. Such a wonderful place shame it’s not closer to us or else we would be here much more often.

Jack made our evening! The food is great! Steaks were perfect the golden experience was GOLD!!! Yummy Mac and cheese with lobster. Warm environment and great staff and great food. Traveled 80 miles for this steak house.

Great food, meat cooked perfectly. It was about £150 for me and my wife with a bottle of relatively standard bottle of wine, so certainly not a cheap meal out!

My Grandson and myself had the most wonderful meal at the Golden Bull. We had steaks, which were cooked to perfection and my Grandson said that it was the best steak he had ever eaten - which is praise indeed! The ambience in the restaurant was perfect and an experience which we will repeat. My apologies for not remembering the name of our waiter, but he was fabulous - so friendly, but still respecting our privacy. Service was perfect. I cannot praise the restaurant highly enough. Wonderful!

We went to the Golden Bull for a celebratory family meal. Some of the group had already been there and it came highly recommended. What a treat. A very friendly welcome from the staff and the place was spotless. There is lovely decor and the tables are nicely spaced from one another. A couple of the party had special dietary needs - not a problem. All the food was exceptional and a decent portion too. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure our experience was a great one. A fabulous restaurant.

Jack was an exceptional host who did everything he could to accommodate us. He’s the best server I’ve experienced in a long time, a real credit to Golden Bull and definitely made a big family meal even more enjoyable. Excellent restaurant with friendly service, a nice hidden gym for your steaks and seafood. Our son treated us to Golden Bull before going to university. We have never been (or heard) to this place before, but the service was top notch; friendly and attentive. We've ordered the king prawn garlic and helumi sticks for starters. The prawns were large and muscular, taste was spot on - reminds us been on holiday in Spain. Main courses were steak and seafood, again, everything were cooked too perfection. In fact, 1 of the best steak I've had this year, and will replace our regular (Miller and Carter's) next time we need some nice steaks. Overall, highly recommended restaurant and service was excellent. Well done, we'll definitely be back again.

The restaurant was quiet, but it was 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon - but I like it that way. Food and service was excellent - definitely coming back.

The steaks were very tasty but mediocre quality, unfortunately both myself and my guest had some unchewable bits (mine was a sirloin). The dressing on the salad was flavourless. The barbequed chicken wings were plain and came doused in a barbeque sauce added after cooking. For me they need to be marinated and then cooked. The service was very good. IMO overpriced for the quality.

Robbie looked after us from entering the building to leaving. Excellent customer service. There were issues with 1 steak however Robbie and the manager (sorry didn’t catch her name) could not have done anymore to rectify. All 4 of us left with full stomachs and had a great meal. Highly recommend

Our server, Robbie, was friendly, polite and excellent at answering any question we had and recommendations. He went above and beyond and is a credit to your company. The food was delightful having the award winning 16oz rump steak and the ultimate dirty burger with a lovely clean atmosphere.

We came here for dinner on a whim as we didn’t know where to eat and omg was it amazing! We ordered a Steak and it was delicious and very decently priced. We were served by Paulo who was an absolute star and made our experience even better - literally cannot fault his friendly service. Definitely recommend.

We have had a few meals here now, each and everytime we could not fault the experience. Jack's service was excellent and entertaining, he was especially understanding of the fact we had our hungry children with us. The food was delicious, compliments to the chef. We had the set lunch and childrens menu which was great value for money. We highly recommend!

Popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon and had an amazing experience. We were served by our regular server Jack. Delightful and efficient. Lovely lad as always! Had the steak sandwich and some Mac & cheese followed by some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Very please will be back again!!

Our waiter was Vlad and we had a lovely meal this evening. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and we ordered steak, fish and chicken dishes - all were fab with no issues! Would recommend for a nice meal out, great for birthdays, dates and other special occasions 🌹

Sunday roast, sirloin was excellent

We had a great lunch at Golden Bull. It was kind of a last minute thing, to just pop in for lunch. Our waiter was so welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and we weren't kept waiting. We have been here before and then, like now, were impressed with the restaurant as a whole.

I had a fantastic dining experience last night.The food was absolutely brilliant—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our waiter, a young man named Jack, was exceptional. He was pleasant, polite, and incredibly attentive. Jack's banter and cheerful demeanor really uplifted the energy at our table, making the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, the combination of excellent food and outstanding service made for an unforgettable evening.I highly recommend the restaurant and look forward to visiting again soon.

Had dinner here about 3-4 weeks ago. We were so hungry and were just looking around menus of different restaurants and thought their menu looks good to try. Best decision we made that night. Very delicious chateaubriand steak, which my husband and I shared. Love there cocktails 🥰. Excellent service from our server Paulo. We will definitely come back.

Jack was amazing. It was my birthday and he made sure I was accommodated for! All the servers were fabulous.

The service was brilliant. Shame of the ribeye. Salty and over cooked. Apparently they only know the recommended (medium) We asked for blue and medium rare and both was medium. I really spect more. We left the place very desappointed. Maybe we will try it in the future and see what's going on.

We had the most beautiful steak and sides, the bone marrow was to die for, staff were friendly and professional definitely a must for any foodies! so nice it’s not a chain and the owner takes such pride in the quality.

In response to your comment. YOU BLOCKED MY FACEBOOK REVIEW. TELLING. I WAS NOT OBNOXIOUS....YOU WERE...THE OWNER. OVOID THIS RESTAURANT LIKE GONORRHEA Extremely disappointed with this place. The waiter was absolutely lovely but the food is extremely overpriced and substandard. Upon politely complaining, the man I presume is the owner, basically disagreed with my opinion on the 12oz sirloin that was 35 quid. It was fatty and tough. He was extremely passive aggressive and when I said to my husband do you really want yours either he said " I know what you're trying to do here" and that I "poisoned" my "colleagues" opinion. How rude can this arrogant man be!?!! He's my husband for goodness sake and I haven't coerced him. Your attitude absolutely stank. The food was awful. Thanks for put our night on a bit of a downer. He needs to go back to customer relations school and change his stinky attitude
