gutted about this place !! Is usually my go to for a nice dessert !! but they have changed the rainbow cake and it was stale … won’t be returning had to throw away 2 cakes… the cookie dough was lovely but it was too much of a waste.

Absolutely amazing, service, food and owner all were the best. Don't be fooled by it's small shop appearance, the food makes it bigger. It is top notch all around and I highly recommend. My taste buds now cannot handle not ordering from Godfather. 100/10

Ordered from here before it was lovely but will never order again now chances blown food was lukewarm at best I couldn’t even eat my kebab so now I’m completely without a meal because I ordered 2 kebabs no salad in the notes I wrote can just one of the kebabs have only lettuce, both came with lettuce and due to my neurodivergence I have adversities to certain textures so this has left me now with no food thanks guys I can’t afford to get anything else no either! Absolutely fuming

Ordered seafood pizza.. they just basically put a lot of cheese on and barely any seafood on the pizza. There was like 2/3 pieces of seafood on the pizza. Terrible

Tasty and hot food. Delivered slightly later than the app advised but the delivery guy apologised and with the food being hot you can tell it hadn't been sat waiting. It's no surprise we keep coming back.

we've been coming here for years, and usually get either a kebab, a pizza, a calzone, or garlic bread, but today we tried the burger and it was absolutely delicious. perfectly cooked, not too greasy, well seasoned

Not good on this occasion. The order was missing the Garlic Bread with Cheese, the fries weren’t cooked and the Pizza was cold. Restaurant very unhelpful at trying to resolve the issue.

Not the best tonight, nan was too hard n shawarma overdone, maybe last night's leftovers reheated? Disappointed as food is normally delicious,bit of a letdown tbh.

Pitta was flaky the naan was a wrap not a naan, the donner was tasteless, the garlic bread was nearly burnt and the nuggets had a weird taste. Chips and mozerella dippers were the only nice thing

Used to really love ordering from here but haven’t enjoyed it the last few times. Ordered both kebabs with garlic sauce, one came with no sauce and the other one came with hot chilli which meant it couldn’t be eaten. The chips were not large and the same as a small and had peri salt on which I didn’t ask for. The portions of the meat and salad were stingy too.

Despite living in the Grove I’ve never ordered from The Godfather before. We fancied a change. We weren’t disappointed at all ! Great food, great Deal, hot, fresh & tasty ! We will be back again 👍🏼

As always food was delicious hot and fresh. Ordered the chicken shawarma as part of the kebab deal.(2x kebab) 2x chips and 2 drinks and was a bargain without cutting out the quality.plenty of chicken on the kebab cooked to perfection. Best kebabs in Stockport.

Food was very good as usual, However the chocolate fudge cake I ordered was actually chocolate gateau, which I was a little gutted about. Overall very good.

First time ordering from here don't usually like ordering from new places defo one of my new favourite places pizza and garlic bread with cheese was by far the best I have had chips could of done with a couple of minutes longer but would definitely be ordering from here again
