Went here for my birthday meal. Best meal I've had all year. The Cocktails were top notch too. Keep up the good work 👌

I didn't think it would be my thing, I was wrong. Great food, we left delighted. Shout out to Jack our waiter, great guy and an asset to the place. We had the beef, chicken sliders, fish tacos and some sides. Look forward to visiting again.

Went for dinner last night & couldnt fault a thing food was delicious highly recommend the whole Dover sole the beef rump , Tempura aubergine, brocoli tendersteams and smashed baby potatoes. Tried a few different cocktails and they were all divine. Eugene was a fantastic attentive host even the music was great ! Will definitely return to this cosy restaurant....

Busy night but the service and food were still excellent. Lots of really good sharing dishes - tried a few new ones this time but stuck with the squid and black pudding (too good but not too!). All really good. Shared a dessert - the chocolat crémeux dish (dark choc crémeux, white choc chips, fresh strawberry with balsamic). Beautiful (with cocktails: negroni & bramble).

Had a bit of everything on the menu, 4 different cocktails 🍸 and everything was perfect. Really don't say this lightly, but in was 5star. Beef short rib tacos 🌮 on point

Our first visit to Gnostic and it certainly won't be our last. Exceptional small plates (that aren't particularly small!), lovely, gentle service, and a great selection of drinks. The cocktail menu has something for everyone including all the classics and some of their own creations. There's a good wine list plus a large selection of spirits and liqueurs, some of which you'll not find elsewhere. As for the food, every dish was packed full of flavour. Highlights were the beef rump, jerk chicken and curried cauliflower. We were too full for dessert, but we'll definitely sample them on our return.

So glad we came across here. Food was absolutely fantastic and great bramble cocktails! We had plates of beef rump, sliders and coley and crab tortellini, with sides of chips and baby potatoes. Very nice decor with a lovely atmosphere. Staff friendly and food nice. However, my main (beef rump) and side (sweet potato) were luke warm and served on cold plates. The white chocolate tart was delicious! Someone who arrived after us were half way through eating by the time our order was taken. The waiter did apologise. Drinks are overpriced (1 pint of beer and 1 orchard thieves cider - £19).

Fantastic experience in Belfast. Warm welcome and a table by the window. Small plate concept allowed us to try many dishes. Nice break from burgers and fish + chips. Would definitely return.

That was another great visit to one of my fav bar/ restaurants! The cod, smoked trout, artichoke, Taylor’s roast spuds was delicious, the ingredients mix, flavours and cooking was top notch. It keeps us coming back.

Our 1st time. Although there was a mistake in one of our plates, the substitute was gorgeous so I didn't mind too much. Staff were very friendly. Menu choice was varied and worked well for a couple where one was vegetarian and one a carnivore. I've already begun advertising via word of mouth. We came midweek so was pretty quiet which suited us.

I had the pleasure of dining upstairs as part of a large group, for a Christmas party. The food was excellent, especially the chips. Small bar with a good selection of drinks, including cocktails. Staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Was there as part of a Christmas work party and it was so lovely . Often as a vegetarian Christmas dinners are boring . But here the food was amazing creative and delicious . The atmosphere was lovely . An all round great time .

What a place! Lovely service, gorgeous atmosphere and the food was UNREAL. The variety on offer is excellent with lots of fantastic vegetarian options (try the miso aubergine- so good!!). I can't wait to return!

Visited Gnostic as part of a large party and it’s the best Christmas dining experience I’ve had. The food was incredible, drinks were great and very reasonably priced and shout out to Valerio and the rest of the team for top notch service 🙌🏻

The food was excellent especially at the price level. The staff were pleasant and energetic so that even in a large group no one waited for their meal. The decor is good however as with every restaurant I’ve eaten in recently the acoustics meant that. Conversations were conducted at an uncomfortable volume. I will go back possibly book downstairs . It is a bit of a hidden gem delighted to know about it.

OK, I'll be blunt. I was getting a bit bored with seeing increases in Belfast places - and I go to London each month and this myth of 'London is so expensive' is wearing thin. Belfast has and is increasing prices outside of local earnings - rant over. Went to Gnostic on a recommendation and it was amazing - plate portions for cost are brilliant - great staff, great food, lovely wee bar downstairs and every table having fun as the barman/waiter was doing his thing brilliantly. Very impressed, my new go to for visitors to Belfast

Be aware that you, probably, might be denied the service after you were sitting in for a couple of hours due to “all the tables are booked” and that is without the preliminary notice. Just as a matter of fact.

This place has been here for a few years now though I’ve never been in it, even though it’s only a few minutes walk from the main Cathedral Quarter. A little impromptu early dinner over the Halloween pay weekend meant getting into our usual haunts might be tricky…so our horizon was broadened. Seeing Gnostic’s menu got me quite excited, with an excellent pricing profile to boot. Quite a small bar downstairs, but not claustrophobic, we had a cocktail there and then moved upstairs. We opted for 4 plates over 2 courses and a side of grilled baby gem. Each plate really was excellent, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Our waiter was very friendly & efficient, the place was filling up as we were leaving but we weren’t hurried off our table. I would strongly recommend Gnostic as somewhere just that little bit different, and we will certainly be returning.

A nice little Pub. We had delicious food, good beer and sider. The service is excellent. We like that there it is low noise were we can still talk to each other.

Absolutely phenomenal food. The best that Belfast has to offer. High quality and fine dining but also affordable. Perfect for any occasion or for no occasion at all. Everything was cooked perfectly and cannot wait to return. Fabulous. Words cannot describe!!

Lovely atmosphere, laid back vibe and great music. Tarek looked after us and we ordered 3 dishes between the two of us for lunch. All 3 were excellent, the standout dish was the squid and black pudding but the prawn tacos and duck ravioli also really good. Beautiful coffee and impeccable service. Will definitely be back!!

There is plenty of car parking facilities near here too which is an added bonus in the city center! Perfect place for any & every occasion. The food is truly top class.

We went on Sunday evening and sat down stairs in the bar. The music was fab but not too loud the drinks options were amazing and all made fresh. We got small plates with a couple of sides and the food was exceptional We tried a few different things we wouldn’t normally get and nothing disappointed Tarek our waiter was amazing he was very welcoming and friendly making time for everyone in From start to finish we had a fantastic night

Best food I have had in Belfast. A classy/dark modern atmosphere. Quiet and intimate. It may be out of the way, but I highly recommend. Lamb leg ragu is unreasonably delicious.

We have come from Guatemala to Belfast and this has been one of the best experiences during our trip to the UK. The food is delicious, the owner's service is spectacular, as if you were talking to an old friend. The place is adorable! One of our best recommendations. Lovely place and very good drinks for a good talk. And everything is very well marked regarding food allergies. 15/10! ⭐️

This is a lovely little tapas bar it's a bit out of the way but once you get there it is worth it. Lovely ambience and decor. The service was excellent very attentive pleasant bar man not sure but think you call him Balero. Please forgive me if this is incorrect. The food was beautiful we had 4 plates and two sides all of which were delicious. I will be back.

First time visiting this restaurant and the 4 of us were really pleased with everything about it. The food was amazing, cocktails were lovely and reasonably priced and very well made. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The highlight was the ambiance of the place, we were made to feel at home in the restaurant and we honestly didn't want to leave. 10/10 for this restaurant and I highly recommend it to everyone

Fantastic night at gnostic, the food was beautiful and the service outstanding. We ate in the restaurant upstairs then went downstairs to the bar where the service was equally as good and there was a great atmosphere, the cocktails were amazing too. We’ll definitely be back.

Fab night at Gnostic! Birthday surprise! Rump not cooked to my liking but was returned and cooked a bit more. However it was tough. Tbf the food was ok. The cocktails were amazing and Jack the waiter, bartender and everything else! Was so lovely and couldn’t have been friendlier or do enough for us. I will go back and hopefully the food will be better. As I had heard so many positive reviews, I think I was just unlucky on the night. Upstairs was freezing and maybe that’s why the food was cold.

If you’re in Belfast, you have to go get dinner and drinks at Gnostic. We visited Northern Ireland for a soccer tournament and all of us ended up eating here two or three times over the week. Hands-down, the best cocktails I had almost everywhere in Europe this trip, these guys are true mixologists and they pour heavy. The food is mostly tapas style but they have great dishes across the board. We are all foodies also so I have a pretty high bar. Eugene the owner and Tariq the bartender made sure we had a great meal. Hell, we all felt like locals by our last night there. So do yourself a favor, hit this spot if you are in Belfast.

Ate here rice during our quick stay in Belfast. Highly recommend— get there early or make reservations because they get busy.

The food was top tier, the plate sizes were very fair with a tapas vibe. I would advise ordering at least two plates per person with a side, this will ensure you feel full but not like a glutton. The service was second to none and I’d like to give a special shoutout to Valerios attentiveness and eagerness to please, he provided an excellent service !

Nice and relaxed eatery and bar. Food was amazing, but even better were the bar staff, especially Valerio. He went the extra mile...friendly, attentive and all the qualities you want facing customers. Great stuff, and hopefully Valerio passed on my compliments to the kitchen team. Entirely average food, often lacking flavour, everything was quite bland other than the potatoes which were very oversalted. Having never visited before, we received no guidance from the waiter about how much to order and 3 plates between the 2 of us was not enough, definitely order 2 each. The BBQ pork taco was particularly underwhelming.

We arrived in Belfast, no idea where have dinner. After a search locally we came across Gnostic Bar & Kitchen. What a find, so glad to have found this great restaurant. We were looked after by Valerio. We had some dietary requests, Valerio consulted with kitchen, nothing was a issue, came back with a list that on short notice could have. So happy with options and the food was amazing. Can't recommend this as a destination for dinner. If we were stay in Belfast longer would be back again.

Wow just wow! A quirky little establishment we found ourselves in after availing of a woucher deal but enjoyed it so much we booked again before leaving. Small plates, amazing sides and cocktails to die for. We were talked out of ordering more than we needed...thank God. Most definitely on our favourite menu now!

This food! I was blown away at how good the food and drinks were. 10/10 for the price. Value was top notch. The vibe was dark and swanky. I wish I had dressed up a bit more. Only downside was that our server was a bit frantic. It’s such a chill looking and feeling place but he was a bit all over the place. Super walk able from AC hotel.

Trust me just get over here immediately, beautiful food, light tasty and full of flavour, great service the lads there were true gents even gave us a shot when we were leaving.

Cosy bar and restaurant tucked away just off Corporation Street. Food was good but be aware that the plates are small, not quite tapas small but you'll want at least two mains and a side each. The cod tacos were the standout dish for us. I was disappointed in the service in the lounge upstairs. Although the staff were friendly, we waited over 30 minutes before one of our party walked over to the bar to ask if someone could take our drinks and food order , and that was with only 6 tables occupied. We also had to keep leaving the table to find a staff member to order drinks as the evening went on.

Food was ok. We did find some plastic in one of our small plates. Good variety on the menu.

Our favourite place for a Sunday drink. We have become regulars, and the bar staff have become our friends. Love the atmosphere and being able to chat without loud music ... I love the cocktails,I think I have tried them all 😂

A little gem of a place - more people need to know this place exists! The food is amazing, and the staff are excellent and over accommodating. The dishes are great for sharing. Recommend the pork belly tacos and the chips, also the savoury donuts (just wow)!!

We visited last week and had Sunday lunch here and it was really gorgeous. The food is elevated Gastro pub cuisine And it’s really delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and it’s a nice bolt hole. Just a skipping a jump from the city centre. If you want somewhere quiet that’s got a nice atmosphere and good food then I thoroughly recommend visiting

Very tasty dishes and delicious cocktails.

Vegetarian selection seems good on paper, but £18 for "flat bread" which wasn't flat at all, it was very dense and difficult to eat mini scones which were very difficult to dip in hummus and really hard to chew, plus a side of tenderstem broccoli, was simply not good enough. This is the second visit to Gnostic that was extremely disappointing - I thought I'd ordered badly on my first visit so did not review. However this is the second time that I've been, and on both occasions felt it was extremely overpriced for the quality.

Interesting menu but no indication of portion sizes to order. In between tapas and starter/main/dessert. I would suggest 2 plates and a side for a full meal. However, every single dish was delicious.

We were a group of 10 for lunch. Tried the prawn, venison, beef and cauliflower dishes- delicious food. Well done- great for groups wanting to enjoy a range of almost tapas style food, but bigger and brilliant

Had a voucher for here and booked for this evening. Arrived only to be asked for the voucher even though I'd booked and had the relevant email. Angered enough my partner convinced me to try the place out. We were asked rather quickly if we knew what we wanted to which I asked for another few minutes. We waited over 25 mins. Had the restaurant been busy I'd have understood but there were 2 other tables that had been served. Server seemed more interested in their phone. Will not be back.

Gnostic is one of our go too spots in Belfast and we always look forward to going.The food and presentation is always top quality and very delicious. Great atmosphere and a really unique setting close to titanic quarter and Yousef always does a fantastic job on his cocktails.
