Very disappointed with part of my order tonight Ordered large doner meat with chips very small portion of meat wish I had taken a picture but didn’t realise how little there was till we had started eating it and there was so little phoned shop was told nothing they could do as that was the portion. Had pie which was really good Chips a bit soggy not the best but ok Won’t be ordering again

Sorry to say food was very Cold again. Considering the Glentworth Chip shop isint far away from my address.🥲

nearly 2 hours after I ordered food was good & hot but time waiting .

food was excellent as always. only reason it was late was because there was an accident at the end of the road so had to go the long way round

The driver rang when outside the premises,arrived in good time and was polite and gave us a very good service from start to finish .

The food was cold by the time it got here as the driver couldn’t find where I lived and even after giving clear instructions he didn’t listen and was rude. The food was also a bit greasy

Delicious as usual just one thing I ordered large chips which usually is enough for 4 people but today the chips barely went round the 4 of us, but the meal was still up to it’s usual standard thank you guys

driver got lost so must have been first time round here although postcode does bring you straight to the house, so not sure what happened there, but meant food wasn't as hot as before yes we have used the Glentworth fish bar before

Food hot and really tasty. Gone in 10 minutes. Would definitely order again as a treat. Shame the portion sizes have got smaller but didn’t change that the food was absolutely quality.

very small portion size. ordered a large and it didn't stretch to 3 people (children) for the price not value for money. The chips are always nice, just VERY stingy portion.

Good Fish Bar I had a lamb donner kebab, it was hot and a good portion size and the meat was tasty. Only 4 stars because the chips were so soggy.

the fish and chips could've been placed in a box and wrapped up rather than just wrapped up because the oil sticked to the wrapping paper. visual appealing 3/5 but food in general was ok. neither satisfied or desatisfied.

Lovely Cod and chips the cod was nice and pure white in a thin batter, the Mediteranian Kebab meat with chips and salad was also superb great food excellent service. Well done Glentworth.👌

Really disappointed that they didn't read our notes of keeping the sauce seperate to the kebabs and food was only just about warm. Not the greatest

the food was only just warm and needed to be reheated. This is not the 1st time that this has happened from here.

The food was cold ! The fish was the worse Fish I’ve had it was soggy underneath then hard on the top hardly any fish inside ! Couldn’t eat it . Haven’t ordered from here for a very long time . Sadly won’t be again 😢

from the time it said it would be on the app originally they just kept pushing it back and back wouldnt have ordered if we knew it would take over an hr!!

It took over an hour and twenty minutes from order to delivery. It normally comes a lot quicker than that. The food was very nice though and it usually is from Glentworth fish bar.

The time on the app just increased without explanation. When I asked the driver he just laughed and said they were very busy and I should have called.

Ordered at around 6.15 order delivered 7.45. Chips looked undercooked and were very greasy.

food is terrible!!! and I don't want to hear it's due to the delivery drivers that the food is cold or bad. the fish was over cooked and cold all at the same time... will never be ordering from here again, shame it use to be our favourite place to eat

Never received order ,dont pick up phone ,just eat useless.ripped off £17

The courier kept me at the door for 5-10 minutes insisting that i give him a four digit code that was not on my just eat email. i gave him the last four digits of my telephone no. but he continued to wane to see my iphone and ipad entry. Cold food

The time started off between 17:45-18:05 it kept getting pushed back and arrived 18:35

chicken kebab was so tasty would definitely reorder and perfect chips good portions for the price

Always been pleased with the meals from here but I ordered a beef & onion pie, got pastie & normally a regular chips served 4 people generously but we barely got four serving a bit disappointed but either way the food was excellent as usual thank you

First time visit. £7.20 for large mixed meat and chips in a tray. A mountain of food was served up and inhaled quickly after returning home. Delicious in every bite: quality chips, well seasoned meat and fresh salad. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Very impressed. 10/10 will return regularly.

This place is fast becoming one of our families favourite go to places for take away. Affordable and good quality. Staff and management are always polite and happy to chat too. Keep up the great work guys :)

Food was piping hot and delicious

unfortunately the chips were very bity and hard, I have always used the Glentworth, but the last few times the chips let the meal down, very thin and bity needs some improvement, sorry.

always inconsistent. the chips are weird like they undercooked. kind of soft on outside hard on the inside. fish batter was slightly overdone and bland. so frustrating because the first time I ever ordered here it was one of the best I ever had. in nearly 2 years it's been horrible almost every time. they need to sort themselves out.

GREASY FISH, SOGGY BATTER, BATTERED SAUSAGE HAD SOGGY BATTER TOO, CHIPS OK, CURRY SAUCE NICE, CHICKEN NUGGETS POOR QUALITY

Delivery terrible. Driver carried food sideways in warming bag causing grease and food to spill out of container.

Not good chips were horrible and the batter on the fish was stodgy couldn’t eat it,only ate a few chips and hardly any of the fish,won’t be ordering again

When the food arrived it was cold.

Called them up because my large mixed kebab was a couple of slices of kebab in a pitta , also forgot my curry sauce , man I spoke to on the phone who I believe to be the owner was rude on the phone , food was okay , owners attitude stinks

Chips were overcooked & hard and crispy most of them thrown in the bin. Mushy Peas had a funny taste - (Tobacco) - again in the bin.

Not much to say except the chips were a mix of rock hard and rubbery, resulting in one person chipping a tooth and another with a cut gum, probably reheated from the lunch time or previous day, pretty poor considering it's a chip shop.

So, being my local chippy, I had to bustle my way in amidst the 2-3 just Uber eat delivery guys - no offence, but surely a real life customer should take presidency? After waiting 3-5 mins to even being acknowledged, doesn’t seem long but when your own in a chippy, that’s long! And then to be told off! Yes for asking why are they being served before me? Was told to LEAVE by the aging manager! The somewhat short of customer experience assistant stated you’ve only waited a few mins, what’s your problem?!! My problem is that you are rude, ignorant, and devoid of any customer etiquette, and I’ll not be returning, and will encourage all my neighbours to do so too. To survive I get local business go online to support growth, but with your attitude towards real life people in shop??? face fronting customers, and with stink attitude? let’s see how much longer you wrap chips! A very annoyed local resident !

food was disgusting phoned the place and they have spoken to the supplier. food was cold and the chips looked old and dry. nervet order from there again

I thought that I didn't receive my curry sauce but as I was on the phone to a lovely person called Nikki I turned my food over and it, it was there Nikki has great phone manners and a credit to Glentworth.

Very nice food recently moved to the area so took a risk off the reviews and only went for them cos the replies to the bad ones sure did make me giggle haha. Will be our go to chippy now. Thank you x
