Glassdruman Lodge in Newry and Mourne

Turned up in good time before a crucial Celtic game, to be told they weren’t open until the actual kick off time. I queried the staff member and asked for the boss as I was sure this couldn’t be correct, but we were asked to come back after kick off time. The nonsense of this was proved by the fact there was a goal in 21 seconds. I pointed this out to the management via messenger and was told they were open 20mins before KO & everyone was in on time. That was it. No apology for the incorrect information or the fact we had to run across town to get a seat. Poor service on the day and worse service after the fact. Costs nothing to be civil & say ‘sorry about that it was just a bit of confusion’ but apparently that’s beyond the management.

Great spot for lunch. Generous portions, excellent choice and very friendly service. We will definitely return again.

Acceptable English pub that serves beer and alcoholic drinks. No food on week days which was pity as we were looking forward to eat something meanwhile having beer. Excellent and friendly service from bartender. We meet locals which was a plus. Quite bar that provide a calm and relaxed environment.

Stopped off myself and a few lads food was unreal best chipper had in a long time

Well what can i say' it took me back in time it was great to meet up with old friends Tony Magee on accordian @ i sang a few numbers' we had the place buzzing on a Sunday morning. OMG its good to be alive.
