Great night. Especially the Phyllip sisters, lovely singers. 😍

The bridge bar don't do food so I scored 5 for that. We will not be going back here as the security on the door are highly rude. My daughter (23) and her partner (22) said they didn't want to go with us here for one drink because the security at the door were very rude. We told them that being with us would mean there wouldn't be an issue, there was. The main guy on door stated using his torch to look in my daughters face to check her ID and then give off to her boyfriend about not having his ID with him. My wife asked him about the way he was talking to the two of them and his words were 'in not talking to you, just go in'. We spoke to the owner, but I don't know if he will deal with the security issue as he is losing out on custom, creating a poor reflection of the bar and creating the feeling of negativity to younger (and I mean over 21s) people going out in Newry. It was not our first experience with this guy but I will be going to other near by premises when I'm going out in Newry from now on.

1 absolute cheeky and rude bar man , thinks he was being smart in front of ppl. Such a rude person. Obviously hasn't got the personality to do the job ,either that or he was trying to be a big person in front of his friends .

We had a recent trip to Newry and this bar was amazing. The atmosphere was great the staff were brilliant and we couldn't have been happier with the service. Highly recommend a visit

Bouncers pure knobs, no hello, no thank you, all business no talk, I joked about him making me feel young as I'm 30 and was asked for ID, pure muppet, wont be back.

Was at an organised engagement party out the back open area, It was a really nice place Beautiful decorations and a great setup for comfort, large gas heaters would keep warm on colder nights The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, bar staff were very friendly and was easy to start and hold a conversation with.

Have visited this Bar on several occasions .The Bar staff seem very stressed , understaffed and on more than one occasion can be aggressive . Drinks are of mediocre quality at an upper tier price range and I did not see any menus or food being served . It is not a venue enthusiastic about music or sports .The toilets are relatively clean however a lot of water on floor and no signage which is a possible safety hazard . The Beer Garden at the rear of the building has a separate bar which is hardly ever staffed .Was waiting to be served and the Barman ( Manager ) was outside looking at his phone and left bar unattended . He returned and seemed annoyed he had to serve customers . I left and was on a video call with a friend . I was 10 yards away from the bar on the footpath and the Bar Manager came from behind and snatched my phone from me and would not return it and was very physically aggressive. I was shocked at this unprofessional behaviour . The Bar Manager apologised for his actions when questioned by the Police . The Bar probably could be good but at present I think it has a paranoid personality and I wouldn’t view it as somewhere which will still be open in the long term . At the moment it just seems to be a signpost for tourists to go to their Sister Bar/Hotel , The Whistledown . Wouldn’t return as just not that great a place .

All craft beers have been removed, they just have Brewdog Punk IPA and other big brewer beers instead

We went there twice. The first time was good but the second time wasn't. Waiter assisted people that came after us, th. and the cocktails are very decent

Called in late afternoon, very impressive beer garden but instead of playing music through their speakers they had daytime reality tv programme, zero atmosphere so had one pint which was ok and left.

Dropped in tonight and had a few drinks with my siblings and relatives. Excellent atmosphere with two styles of music for the various ages present. Very enjoyable night, good time had by all!

Great bar, they have brewdog punk ipa on tap but the bar staff will lift your specialist wiskey glasses even if your not finished your sliver of drink, they see a half empty glass as one they can dispose of.

Packed - really difficult to get a seat - we got one: at the bar. Fantastic atmosphere- the Irish pub is still alive! It's called the Bridge bar

Here for the champs league final you go in it looks small but go further down the back you come to smoking area with bar and plenty of seats. I thought the place was funky and comfortable. Nice pints too

Not enough bar people on to handle the number of people at the bar. Bar staff don't seem to follow any kind of order when serving people also, seems if you're mates with the staff you get served first even when there are other people ahead of you. Mens toilets were filthy in fact at one stage some girls came into the boys toilet asking for toilet paper because they had none in theirs. Music was all right, atmosphere was nice

Great atmosphere in the well laid out beer garden. Sit in the sun or the shade while have having a sample of their fine choice of beers. Staff are friendly and make a genuine attempt to make your visit more enjoyable. Can't fault.
