Great chilled out cafe you can read a book an chill out for a cofe. Cafe is squeaky clean with great staff. Meals are excellent very healthy but nice balance with an English breakfast to choose from too.

Precios agradables almuerzos ligeros y pasteles. Librería cristiana, que también vende tarjetas, etc.

Brilliant food and drink, friendly atmosphere and lovely relaxed feel. If I'm not working, I can usually be found in Glandstones, eating lunch or drinking their superb coffee. In terms of books, what they don't have in stock they'll order in, and they have some lovely gift ideas.

I love this café, food is great, everything reasonably priced, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, BUT the staff above all are lovely and welcoming. It's a Christian café but everyone is welcome and nobody is buttonholed by unwanted preaching !!!! But Christian guidance is there if you want it.

We visited for a late lunch. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, staff were polite and there's quite a good selection on the menu. However, the wait for the food has always been ridiculously long. We've visited quite a few times, and the longest wait was 70 minutes. We were given free drinks, and an apology. This has now put us off, and we will not be visiting again.

What a wonderful little oasis in such a hectic part of the city. A warm welcome to all with excellent friendly service. Spotless clean cafe with lovely fresh food. Highly recommend the Mediterranean salad and cheese on toast. They don't scrimp on the ingredients. Regardless of your religious denomination everyone made to feel welcome..what a wonderful experience in this busy world thank you always a pleasurable treat

Fantastic café in the heart of Liverpool. Went for lunch recently and absolutely blown away! Food was excellent and very competitively priced. Service and atmosphere were both great. Food had clearly all been homemade on site and the menu offered a great range of options. I had a Cumberland sausage bap which was delicious! Couldn't recommend more highly.

Great healthy fresh menu, incredibly friendly staff, really pleasant atmosphere- what more do you want? Gladstones is a café and a bookshop. There is amble seating and a dedicated team of really friendly servers. The menu is varied, the ingredients are top quality and the coffee passes the test of any coffee snob, like myself. Prices are quiet good for Liverpool- jacket potato with two fillings for under £5! I cannot recommend this place enough.

This small, privately-run bookshop/café is just off Bold Street, one of Liverpool's bustling main shopping streets, within a few hundred yards of Central Station. In Slater Street, it serves genuinely home-made breakfasts, lunches and teas, every day except Sun./Mon. Order from a friendly waitress at the counter and your chosen meal will be brought to your table. There is a pretty courtyard at the rear, for sunny days, with cheerful umbrellas over the tables and lovely pots of bright flowers around. We ate delicious soups, attractively served on spotless white plates and dishes, with fresh ciabatta slices and a sprinkling of herbs. Next, we enjoyed paninis with brie, apple and grapes, though there was a wide choice of unusual fillings. Afterwards, with pots of tea and jugs of milk, we couldn't resist slices of home-made fruit cake with a marmalade glaze and an equally yummy date slice, nicely served on plates with individual doileys . Total cost was under £15 for two - excellent value !

Stumbled across this lovely, cosy cafe that’s easy to miss on a wander through town. We sat in for coffee and cake and all said how it was one of the nicest places we’ve stopped for a coffee.
