Gioia Pizza & Deli in Kensington and Chelsea

Really one of the best pizza I have ever eaten in London. The staff was amazing and I loved the "affettato misto" Very recommended!

If GIOIA means delight in Italian then this place is living up to its name! I had a lovely 4 cheeses pizza followed by fig pudding - a sort of bread pudding with chocolate on top! Also had friendly service! Will go back in to try out other desserts soon!

Es una pena que tuvimos una experiencia horrible con la entrega que no se molestó en aparecer durante 3 horas, ¡PERO esta pizza vale la pena! Cuando los llamé, me dijeron que rehicieron la pizza para que esté fresca y caliente para nosotros. Gran servicio y comida fantástica! !

Used to come here often when working in the area. What can I say - lovely staff, great food, warm atmosphere. I usually have their Cappriciosa Pizza drizzled in chilli oil. Waiters are very friendly and hope to visit again some time.

Today I ordered a Luppolo pizza and received what’s in the photo - which left me speechless for the amount of ingredients and how it compares to what is advertised on their website. Getting this amount of ingredients for 14 pounds is a rip-off (please note that ingredients are potatoes, onions and mozzarella, which are extremely cheap to start). Once I phone the restaurant, they tell me that nothing can be done, I cannot return the pizza and it can’t be replaced with a new one. They even joke saying - well if you ate it and liked it, there is nothing we can do, as if I was looking to grazie refunded for something I consumed. Fun fact, I haven’t touched this pizza and won’t eat it (as I told the gentleman on the phone too). Horrified by the pizza and even more by the customer service!!

Davvero una delle migliori pizze di Londra e non solo. È cambiato solo il nome, ma lo staff e soprattutto il responsabile della pizzeria è rimasto lo stesso della precedente gestione. Impasto leggerissimo, ad alta idratazione, giusta la temperatura di cottura. Decisamente migliore di molte osannate pizzerie romane almeno.
