ordered Galbitang(short beef rib soup with rice) , fried chicken wings with soy sauce and others. All are fresh and delicious. besides, the restaurant is clean. would come again shortly

My toasties was not cooked enough and the banana cake was dry. Service was not good and I had to wait 5 minutes for staff member to turn around whilst waiting for a toasties to cook. I was just ignored and would not go there again.

The best Korean food in London is here! We are frequent visitors and have returned to GGM countless of times. We come almost every week with our family members. Definitely recommend to everyone we know. The best dishes are seafood pancake, sweet and sour prawn and bibimbap! Definitely give it a try. The staff and boss are very nice and easy going. The place is also very clean and welcoming. Usually we eat around ~£20 per head and the food is enough for everyone.Overall a great restaurant with high quality of food. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Excellent food and service. We visited on a Monday evening and were the only people there which was a shame as would love to see this place full all the time! Everything we had was delicious - steamed eggs, seafood ramen, Korean fried chicken, and Bibimbap. The chap serving us was lovely, and took time to tell us about the ingredients used, and was clearly very passionate.

Brilliant restaurant - wholeheartedly recommend! Very understated on the outside, I wasn’t too sure what to expect but the restaurant was so lovely. Beautiful warm lighting, exceptionally clean toilets and just plain cosy 🥰 Now, the food, delicious!!! Some of the best food I’ve had in such a long time. Flavourful, authentic and fresh. For the quality you get, the price reflects that (around £25 a head). Lastly, the staff were lovely! We spoke to Jacob who was passionate about the quality of their ingredients, how they make their food and how everything on the menu is incredible. I look forward to visiting again - thank you!

I'm sorry, Mom... The green onion pancakes here are better than the green onion pancakes you make. Green onion pancakes and chicken are juicy on the outside and hot and salty on the inside.

The staff was horrible to me. I ordered coffee from the menu and he told me to go to a coffee shop, if I wanted to drink coffee. Then why is it on the menu? Had a really bad experience. Now I know to never have a coffee in GGM.

Best soy sauce chicken in new Malden.

We were visiting nearby and discovered this restaurant by chance. Friendly staff and tasteful food. The BBQ beef was tender and juicy, and well marinated. The soup was rich in flavour though could be more spicy.

I have been searching for the genuine Korean fried children in the UK for many years and I finally found it in ggm. I love the original flavour, so crispy and tender. Definitely yummy! This is the reason I come back within a month and other dishes are also delicious. 5 stars for sure 🌟

My favourite Korean restaurant in London! Run by the loveliest family and you can tell the food is made with love. Freshest ingredients, big portion sizes, and the best flavours. We drive all the way from West London just to go to GGM and it is always worth it. Couldn't recommend this place enough :)

Soondubu soup and Soon dae gug are very plain. The Marinated chicken was ok, but the sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. I ate at lunch time, but the fried oil felt very old. The only side dish(banchan)offered was a little bit of cabbage kimchi. Nobody was there to provide service while we were eating. The owner was in the kichen. When we finished our meal, we wanted pay. So I went to the counter with my credit card, but a young lady(looks like daughter) was just there chatting on the phone with a friend. Even though she saw me, I was ignored. She just didnt care about me, so I went back to the table to push the table button, and then the young lady finally got up. Despite the lack of service, I still was charged a 10% service charge. The only service offered was just take the order and bring the food. They never even come back to see if we needed anything. With high reviews, maybe my expectations were too high, but to me, my experience was not like a 4.7 star restaurant should be.

We ordered Kkanpunggi and 3 ecological baths, and it was so delicious. In particular, the soup of ecological bath was spicy and refreshing. The only regret is that there is only kimchi as a side dish.

Amazing foods, authentic Korean cuisine, the service was quite slow but if you don’t mind waiting for these delicious dishes then this is a place for you! The location is a bit further away from the high street with plenty of free parking spaces

Surprisingly a nice Korean restaurant away from the new Malden high street. The interior is very cosy and inviting. The menu offers wide range of classic Korean dishes. Plenty of free parking spaces in front of the restaurant too.

Delicious, authentic Korean food. The Kimchi Jjigae was the perfect remedy after a hard day's work. Filling, warming and nourishing. Egg Soufflé was equally as tasty and I was pleased to see this on the menu as it is not always available in Korean restaurants. A superb offering and all reasonably priced!

Very tasty take away dinner. Not take long to be prepared. Very Pleasant lady served me. I will definitely be going back to try more dishes.

A rather quiet restaurant but the food there is absolutely delicious! My partner and I went on a Monday evening and there was just us and another group of people but even so the service was brilliant, very friendly staff! I definitely recommend this place if you live near by :)

I came here on a friend's recommendation, and as expected, there's a reason why the house is so famous! We ordered one seasoned chicken and seafood pancake and both were really delicious. The crispiness of this world... . The portion was so generous that I ate it to my fill and took it to take away haha. Above all, the owner was really kind and sensible, so I enjoyed the delicious food even more :) Here's a recommendation!

This is my second visit, and the sundae soup was delicious, and the raw fish stew I had yesterday was refreshing and delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

It looks like an ordinary but small Asian store with a good selection of products, including frozen, and some seating in the front. But unbeknownst to most there is a fantastic restaurant in the back, with a private room for a large group and several tables in the main restaurant, this little gem is almost hidden for most. I would recommend it to anyone that loves Korean food and friendly atmosphere. Our food was very good and we even order extra to take home as it was that good.

Since GGM opened here in Malden Manor , The delicious korean have a gravitational pull for me and my friends. Its the most authentic korean food found in London. Once you try , you gonna keep coming back for more.

The food here is authentic and so good! It is such a cute find and its hidden away in a small local area right next to Malden Manor Station. We go here quite often!

Very clean and good ambience. Stands out from the rest of the surrounding shops. The order took a bit longer than it should, but we were a bit early anyway. They did not give us the curry sauce for the chicken katsu curry, even though we paid the extra 40p for it. Apart from that the food was nice and authentic. Oh, and the black pudding dish was not available, even though it was on the menu. Update 2022: everything has changed! The restaurant has been completely revamped and is now accompanying a very comprehensive menu. There are dishes which you'd usually have to go to the likes of Jing Go Gae to eat, such as cold buckwheat noodles. So far everything we have tried is as good as they look. Update 16/03/22: in response to the owner's comments below, I'd just like to clarify that the first part of my review was made when GGM was only just open many years ago, then the update 2022 paragraph was made recently when Google invited me to update my original review. My intention was to show there has been vast improvement since those early days, not a complaint.

So terrible. I ordered dak galbi by delivery. But, when I got the food, all were burnt black, so I couldn't eat at all. I don't understand how they sent this food to eat. It even costs GBP 19 but I couldn't eat anything. So unpleasant.

I am usually not a fan of Soondae but this restaurant makes great ones! We came across this restaurant after some searching and boy are we glad we visited. The front of the place is a shop for prepare food for takeaways and there’s dining in the back. We ordered their Soondae, Soondae Guk (Soup), Galbi (Beef short rib) Tang, Fried Chicken Wing in Yangyeom sauce and original Fried Chicken Wings. Soondae was served over a bed of onions on a hot plate was amazing, not gamey. Soondae Guk was hearty (haha literally, because it had pieces of heart, lung and liver in it) really liked the liver. The fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy. Galbi Tang came with large chucks of short ribs. We left with happy bellies. Happy we’ve found this spot!

We have tried a few Korean restaurants in the area now and this is our favourite. Fantastic food and the most friendly service you will find anywhere.

It's hard to find homemade kimchi in UK,but you can find this here. A warm cozy restaurant with nice boss. Dishes are very natural without MSG

Really really tasty! We ordered one boneless soy fried chicken initially but because it is so tender and flavory, we add a second one different flavour but equally good! They have very wide range of Korean soups and very authentic! Environment is cosy but slightly cold, seat is very comfy, totally pleasant eating ambiance. However the only short side is the long waiting time which was caused by short of stuff.

I am sure that this restaurant's chicken is the best quality and taste in the UK. 🍗👍 I decide to give up making chicken in my home any more. Thank you for delicious food and kind service😀

I popped in to pick up some ingredients for cooking and was informed that this is one of the best restaurants in New Malden. Safe to say I was sceptical. Returning for dinner we were suitably stuffed with delicious food, the fried pumpkin, tteokbokki and chicken bulgogi were all as billed… phenomenal. Some of the best Korean food I have eaten, and the service was exceptionally welcoming. Will be coming back soon!

This is possibly the best korean takeaway for stews i've come across in New Malden. Its well package, large portions, seasoned very well & always arrives piping hot. The delivery times vary, we live close by and sometimes it is super quick ( within 20 minutes ) and sometimes takes almost an hour. So i think its just how busy they get for deliveries in the evenings. Nonetheless, excellent stew quality

I also highly recommend the vegetable kimbap~ Needless to say, the Jjambbong is also delicious.. If you have time, there is a mart, so please come and try it~~ 🙆👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

I don't know because I haven't tried anything else, but the fried dumplings were delicious and the taste of the tteokbokki wasn't as good as the one I made. ㅠㅠ Try adding a little less red pepper paste, and if I tell you carefully, don't use red pepper powder, pepper, and salt. Just mix the soy sauce, sugar, and pepper better and use anchovy broth. I was wondering what it would be like to try it with oden soup... I salted it a little too much... The fried chicken was soggy rather than crispy, but the seasoning was great!! That day, I really wanted to eat tteokbokki and chicken, so I ordered it because the reviews were so good, but I was a little disappointed. I'm grateful to hear that you have a great missionary mindset, but I was a little disappointed compared to the quantity and taste. Still, I'll try the other menu items next time because they have good reviews. Fighting!! I won't order tteokbokki again, but I might order chicken once in a while. I can’t wait to go to the restaurant and try it in person.

If you go inside the market, there is a restaurant. I enjoyed the sundae soup, galbitang, and pork cutlet. However, the side dish, kimchi, wasn't that tasty, so I deducted one star (the interior of the restaurant isn't pretty either). However, it's nice to be able to go without a reservation when New Malden seems to be crowded.

This is my first time writing a review. The real food is delicious and they are friendly. The chicken is better than what you get in Korea!! The oil is clean and doesn't smell like oil. I think you won't regret it if you go, except for the slightly bad location. It was the best Korean restaurant I've ever been to while living in the UK.

Fantastic hidden cafe in the back!

My son Jonathan, took me to eat at this small reasonably priced family run restaurant, just to the rear of their supermarket shop. Lovely freshly cooked Korean food. Staff very friendly & helpful with the menu if needs be. I wish I lived locally, (like my son & his wife), as I would eat here more often. They also sell non alcohol, & alcoholic drinks. This will now be a place to relax & eat whenever I visit.

1st visited this restaurant about a month ago for a take away not knowing they had a restaurant at the back. The shop is at the front and sells all sorts of Korean goodies. The restaurant is quite chic and quirky and the food is great and at good prices. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. It can get quite busy in there at times but seems to make the atmosphere all the more appealing.

Fantastic Restaurant. Had a very tasty meal there this evening. Great tasting food, good beer and better price. The venue is original and quirky. Great please to try some great food.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. It may just seem like a convenient store from the front but it is work the visit inside to the back of the shop for the food itself.

A new shop that has been in operation for less than six months. It provides certain types of Korean food items including instant noodles, cooking sauces, dumplings and drinks. The owner is extremely friendly, and said all along his business has been focused on wholesale which he now would like to extend to retail. This is good for the small community in the vicinity for items that are not available in other convenient stores. At the back of the shop is a small family type restaurant that serve hot Korean food.
