Get Fried! in Fife

Ordered collection through their website, took my money, and when I went to collect it was closed, not been able to get anything resolved, absolute shambles of a place to be quite fair. Is this place shut down or something?

Been In now twice and got 2 deliveries first time I went in they never had what I wanted and first time I ordered a take away I was all just a bit soggy , second time I went in I could not complain it was really good. But then I got what they called a munchie box it was all there sadly the only tasty thing was the fish and the rest was a bit substandard and I only got about 8 chips which looked like oven chips was saddened as I thought thy Hun upped there game not what I would call a munchie box at all at the price and especially that I was sharing it it all seams a shame if your there ordering it they make sure it’s good but the delivery is terrible

The food is incredible and customer service is always excellent. Wish you were open more days!

So glad we stopped here while we were in Fife. Honestly the best loaded fries and churros I have ever had. A real hidden gem in the heart of Kirkcaldy.

Such an easy 5 stars. Stop what you're doing and go to Get Fried. Had the New Yorker and it was absolutely brilliant. Great portion and the salt beef was homemade and unreal. Best fried pickles I've had outside of the States, cooked to perfection.

This place was pure gastronomic experience during my time in Scotland! Really kind and friendly stuff, untypical menu and off course...brilliant food!

🤓 Takeaway chip shop with two or three tables. Open in the old Koku Shi restaurant. . Good choice of menu. . Value for money. . Open when other chip shops are closed . Will go back again.👌

Had a loaded mac and cheese and some churros. Food was tasty. Reasonable prices. Owners were lovely. Would go back again.

Had the fish supper last night, was honestly the best fish and chips I ever had! Was not oily at all which is perfect for me😍the fish was fresh and the chips were perfect as usual. Couldn't recommend this place more😄

Fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had. Fresh fish, crispy batter. The chips are the best chips you’ll ever taste. Chicken wings with the beer cheese sauce was to die for as well. Will certainly be back.

Sausage wasnt cooked through properly, was cold in the middle so ended up not eating, did not help the chips were horrendously greasy. Girl at the counter was overly friendly so seemed a bit fake.

Popped in this evening and ordered a large fish and chips. Everything cooked to order. The fish was very “ thick” and perfectly cooked in a thin crispy batter. Chips triple cooked and seasoned. Loved everything.

I've been waiting for this restaurant to open, fish and chips has always been my favourite, and the fact that everything is cooked to order was music to my ears. I ordered the haddock and chips and wasn't let down. The chips were crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside and tasted superb. The fish was first class, great taste and the batter was light and crispy. Great value for money, excellent friendly service, I'll definitely be going back. This is not your typical Scottish chippie, yes they sell fish and chips but the rest of the menu is not what you'd expect, I'm looking forward to trying the Stornoway black pudding and Lorne sausage Scotch egg or the smoked haddock scotch egg, but I'll probably end up having both.

Been in a few times since its opened and its become one of my favourite places to eat. Food is amazing, with lots of choice and customisation. Not to mention the 2 owners are so unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Would reccomend to anyone and ill be back regularly

Firstly, the food! A fairly innovative menu, try the battered braised beef ribs on the "baby got mac" absolutely to die for, a light batter and the tastiest of ribs 🤤 (I had the baby got mac and a side of fried pickles with the beer cheese as a dip). Secondly, the staff are lovely!!!! Thanks so much for the chat and I have my fingers crossed for you guys! I can't wait to try more when I'm back in the area. Thanks again for the hospitality

Amazing food, chicken drumsticks to die for, I want to marry the fried pickles and for tater tots to officiate. Seriously, great wee find, great value for money, lovely staff and great choice of options.

Waited an hour for 2 haddock and chips ! Shop had 2 small friers that you could have at home chips were awfull and fish greasy couldn't possibly eat yuk never be back I Love Kirkcaldy and want to see new businesses thrive

So pleased this place is so close to our flat! Finally got to stop in today, and was not disappointed. The corn dog - Fantastic! The chips are nice and crisp. The beer cheese is soooo good. My son got the king prawns and loved it. I'm sure the smoked haddock will be great as well. Everything is made to order, which I also love. Being from the southern part of the United States myself, it warmed my heart to see southern influenced menu items done so well. I can assure we will now be regulars. So tickled by this place, and the owners are just lovely.

Curried haddock and Tater Tot Heaven: the curry spice blend kept me guessing but very keen to keep eating the super fresh, meaty haddock coated in air light, crispy batter. Such a delight to enjoy this twist on fish and chips by the sea (sat in the car at the prom). The staff are friendly, the prices are extremely competitive and I don't have greasy fingers.

What a cracking wee place! Super friendly staff, prices are great for the portion sizes you get and the food was amazing! Everything cooked to order so you know it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp for ages going soggy and sad. Separate fryer for veggie/vegan food and the best part was that they knew the difference between vegetarian and vegan! Even let me know that there was non-veggie parmesean in the sauce I ordered (cheese is my weakness) so extra points for that! Will definitely be back for more tater tots and beer cheese ✨️
