The culinary experience was satisfactory, although it was my initial visit and I was unaware that the kebab would contain chili sauce. The newly introduced Kit Kat dessert was enjoyable. The manager demonstrated attentiveness by approaching our table to inquire about our satisfaction. My son brought to his attention that his dessert contained an insufficient amount of sauce, prompting the manager to promptly rectify the situation by adding more sauce. In my opinion, the addition of a scoop of ice cream would further enhance the dessert. The staff exhibited a friendly demeanor, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable.

Hassan or Hasad I can't remember his name well but it falls in those names at the front desk at the eden street GDK 9:10pm he is really a good ,kind welcoming and hospitable person I really enjoyed my stay people like him will make the GDK the best restaurant in the UK

Very bad service. Unqualified staff. Very slow. Took 20 minutes to prepare two meals order when thercwrre no other customers. Manager was fighting with other Te'o man working and instead of preparing food they talked back to her. We ordered quasadila in gdk Kingston branch and got not toasted wrap instead. Manager Supraja tried to convince me quasadilla is served this way. But it's not first time I have quasadilla in gdk and wrap bread that falls apart with meet falling out is not a quasadilla definitely

First time visiting this restaurant, I ordered a mixed “Gym Box”, supposedly having 44g of protein. As a nutritionist I am very health-conscious, and thought this would be a very good lunch. Nevertheless, when I opened it back home (it was a takeaway), I didn’t find any meat in the box, only chicken skin (see pictures). I took out some of it hoping to find some actual meat below (44g of protein), but to my surprise there was only more chicken skin…no meat at all there, chicken ir beef. I obviously couldn’t eat any of it, and couldn’t go back to Kingston, so I had to throw it away…What a waste of my £7.49! Only now I read other comments and noticed I haven’t been the only customer chested. I wonder if I had sat at the restaurant perhaps it would’ve been different.

Excellent taste , must try especially who love spicy. Good meat quality, big fried potatoes and tasty garlic sauce are my favorite. My family will come back again.

We had a lovely time. We came out for Iftar a few days ago with our family and were looked after by the staff. Our food was very quick to come out and was fresh which we really appreciate as we had just broke our fast for the day. We were served by Ahmad who looked after us during our entire dinner and made our experience better. Thank you for making our evening so lovely.

Customer Service was elite! My favourite meal is the Boss Box amazing for the value. Quality of the food was amazing. I was going to go to McDonald’s and we decided to come here instead best decision I have made.

It was freaking 11:48 pm and we came to order food, only takeout was available I was sitting on a stool near the door until my friends order and a guy came upto me and asked me to stand up apparently the manager has told not to allow people to sit, dude cmon it was just a stool and i am a freaking customer jeez

Good kebab, nice bread that doesn't fall apart, good meat to bread ratio, fresh flavours, nice sauces and a large helping. Only negative is the sauce pot for the chips could have been larger.

The staff are always lovely, but there is always a problem with the meat. After 8 pm in the evening, all that one can order is a mix of meats, because they don't have enough chicken on and are saving it for online and bigger deliveries. This is really ruining the place for me. Last time my food barely had any chicken on it. Yes, it is better to not put the new slab of meat on, and the keep it overnight half cooked, agreed, but either use bigger rounds.of meat, or smaller and use 2 per day. What you currently have on is clearly not working. EDIT: 2nd bad visit in a row. This time they declined to accept a Scottish 20 pound note. Although it says pound Sterling on it, and legally businesses have to accept it, apparently not this business. Apparently too many fakes, so instead of buying machines to check notes, they would rather lose customers. Mix situation was fixed, but you keep letting me down will deffo shop elsewhere if I have the option. Only coming here when everything else is closer. EDIT: 2 months later. There's chicken on the skewer. Yet again I'm told beef or mixed, no chicken meat by itself. Yet, online its available. Never coming back. You are a joke!

Too lazy to bring the food to the table

I was here at 23:50 pm on 27/01/2023 and I just entered the Gate....When Security said...This is Takeaway time....As I am a regular at this time....I said I know....but the security hesitated and said.... I am security and....and listen to me....He Even try to push me and Asked me to go to Mx Donald's....Is this the way GDK treats customers.. Check the CCTV . ...I have attached photo graph of the rude security who's seems to be an Asian.

We used to come here usually but today we got a very bad experience from one of the staff (Jeunice)in the counter she was very rude and not even happy to explaining things. I don’t even understand her accent as well. Only because of this one staff I got a very upset today and I couldn’t even finish my food.

The worst place I've ever visited in kingston. when visited the girl at the tills didn't even bother to serve us. waited for 5 minutes, eventhough we were the only customers on the till. despite that the food we good was dry and crispy instead of tender, we had to change the order twise to get it right. we tried to mention this to the manager, the manager was rude and didn't even care about the customer satisfaction. never gonna visit again and won't suggest to anyone else.

TO THE MANAGER: GDK offers warm food and takeaway meals. Why is meat and chicken prepared, placed in the donner tray, allowed to cool, and then served to customers? I have inquired twice to ensure my meal is served hot, yet it arrived cold. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction, my sandwich was reheated in an Airfryer with dry bread, and a piece of aluminum foil was left inside. Whether you are Habibi or someone else, be aware that this business is at risk of decline. McDonald's provides better service than yours. Be cautious, as next time, these issues may need to be addressed with health authorities. Good luck with improvements. 👎👎

ICE COLD Chips and Meal. The worst two meals I've ever purchased. They charged me £20!!! I decided to order here over mcd and wendys as it seemed the healtier option. However, although the order was relatively fast, the reason for this was that the food was still stone cold!! How can you serve a customer this with a smile?? I tried calling but it just goes to voicemail. I will never order at a German Doner Kebab again. Update: I have emailed you, I await your reply. Update2: They kindly rectified the situation so I updated my review. I went to another German Doner in the O2, the food was nicer, this time it was luke-warm. Ours was the last order before they closed, perhaps the ovens were switched off earlier so the bread and meat are not hot at all. This may be an issue which other customers are okay with, I know it's the same with McDonalds, their chips are terrible now because they are always underdone to get more through the door and get more money from customers.

Callen in last night 3rd December asked for just a Doner meat kebab to take away £7.49, when I got home and opened the packaging I thought they’d forgot to put the meat in it, very little meat in please avoid at all costs shocking

Exceptionally slow service even with the restaurant half empty and no Deliveroo people waiting. After visiting 3-4 times with the same thing happening i decided to time it: about 10 people in the kitchen and still waited 13 minutes for one doner wrap. Food is alright but the wait is ridiculous - not coming back again!

Extremely Displeased with German doner kabab experience I express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service and quality of food I received during my recent visit to German doner I ordered an OG Kebab meal and was eager to enjoy my meal by the window. However, upon starting to eat, I discovered that the beef was extremely cold. Concerned about the quality, I approached a staff member for assistance.To my dismay, the staff member provided a lame excuse about the temperature and refused to replace the dish, insisting that it was "warm enough." This is unacceptable, especially considering I paid for a meal that should meet basic standards of freshness and warmth. The poor customer service and the refusal to address a legitimate concern are disappointing. I expected a more customer-centric approach, and this experience falls far short of my expectations. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also undermines the trust of paying customers. Not recommend
