German Doner Kebab in Kingston upon Thames

I visited GDK kingston yesterday for having meal regarding my fasting,i order rice bowl chicken and when i received my order it's added only salad which was also not fresh and only some portion of rice with out proper portion of chicken, i paid 8.49 for this kind of food totally waste of money very disappointed from service, serve us food as you shown on screens....

Very rude behaviour with the drivers the person name is Hassan he as doing harassment with the drivers like he own the restaurant if we say anything he doesn't giving order to us and saying do wht ever you want to do no one can do anything for me please IAM requesting to the management of gbk Kingston help for drivers and stop do harassment to drivers thank you I hope so you will take this as seriously to that person thank you from the Kingston drivers

Saturday night come 10pm, tables up and ready to go home. No ambience or staff presence. Let me order food and told me I couldn't eat it there due to licensing. When challenged the serving staff had to call the manager on the phone as no presence on the shopfloor, I was eventually refunded and left accordingly. The souvlaki 1 min walk way is much better, save your money and time!

Ran for a bus so didn’t check order until I was home in which it was too late to go back. Ordered a wrap and got given a pita, completely missed my two chicken spring rolls and paid for feta in both meals and didn’t get any…

Looks like I cut my foreskin and grilled on a bbq, absolutely horrendous I ordered beef and chicken and ended up getting only beef foreskin

Drove all the way to the shop to find out they ran out of meat options. If you're open late, you should be able to provide food. It seemed like staff members needed an excuse to start the cleaning process early. Not happy with the shop management at all!

I asked the girl who could of been a bot for chicken , salad and HOT chilli, I got a nod and smile and nothing what I asked for. I got chicken red cabbage and no hint of chilli sauce. These multi million congromaites think £9 is nothing. Well it is everything now as that's the last penny you will get off me.

Usually great chicken doner kebab , not tonight I politely asked for soft meat and not burnt , the lady from the till says this to the chef 👨‍🍳, but this one being rude and superficial, just laughed and gesticulated like … go on it is fine , It was not , had a bitter taste First and last time I bet it is hard for the place to have regular customers Thank you

I do not recommend… went yesterday evening around 9pm, The service and cleaning of the store were very bad, seems they do not even great the customer, my experience was really bad.

Tried the new Veg style Kebab, was decent enough, good option for vegetarians however salad in the kebab was shocking, hardly any, soggy where it was drenched in the sauces, this needs to be on the meat not lettuce, chips were stone cold and tiny portion. Tried as it was 50% off a £20 spend so worth it, no way worth full prices.

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, the worst service ever! I’m really disappointed. I’ve dine-in and taken a takeaway there is very less chicken in my wrap and sandwich, only onion is wrapped. Not worth the money!!👎👎

cheese sauce is nice on meat and chips but portions are awfull even if you pay extra for extra. Dont bother here if you want something filling. if ya want something worth the money go somewhere else.

I go always to Kingston branch and I choose dine and put table number but the person on counter didn’t bring the food on the numbered table . He said I have to collect ! They don’t bring it on the table all I am worried something’s designed for a reason when I order on the pod and put my table number they should bring it on my table am I wrong !!! ? Managers and owner ! what is the rule ? do they have to bring it to the table or I have to collect it from counter as dining ? The tables are not get cleaned on time . Update: quality of the food was mediocre, visited about 11pm on a Friday night and little care was given to my kebab, not an even mix of ingredients or distribution of salads at all and sub standard compared to the kebabs I’ve had from here on a good day. For the price they charge and the fact they’re a chain restaurant I think they can do better at peak times on a Friday. Clean and welcoming store, I’ve ordered vegan kebabs on ubereats before and they were amazing. Tonight I went into the store in Kingston and was served by Aftab who walked me through the options and made sure I had the correct customisation so my order was fully vegan. Very friendly and great for vegans, big thanks to Aftab :)

#Rude Manager #Bad Smell #Poor Food quality Today, I visited GDK Kingston between 17:15 and 17:50. I ordered the OG Meal and was disappointed to find that the meat and bread were served iced cold. I politely brought this to the attention of the manager, who seemed unfamiliar with proper customer service etiquette and lacked the expected professionalism for a brand like GDK. Even the manager expected me to eat like that. My overall experience was quite disappointing, especially given the time, around 17:30.

Bad quality! Cold Food! Rude manager! Ignorant manager Disappointing Experience at German Doner Kebab I had high expectations for German Doner Kebab, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The kebab itself was dry, and the meat temperature like it had been sitting out for a while. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food or decent service. When I drag manager's attention on cold food he reacted it's normal and became rude, never apologize. Instead another staff(girl) said sorry when pasaing by, not the rude manager.

I went to the restraunt today and half way through chewing my kebab spat out a piece of material in the meat. The manager didnt apoligise, told us that is what just onion but refused to bring out an onion put back to show us. He had no apoligie and he shouted at us and threatened us for calling him out infront of the customers. He refused to tell us his name but we managed to get a picture of him being shown the object as he refused to give back the fourign material to take to the council and we struggled to even get him to give us a refund. Have previously given this restraunt a 5 star review but now have told everyone to avoid and get a kebab fron somewhere else. Their is much better in kingston now a days and the lack of proper customer service is a reason to avoid. I will await to see what they have to say for their poor food standard safety and their poor customer managememt.

Absaloutly Terrible. highly doubt not recommend Do not try here at all they absaloutyl have terrible packaging, squeeze everything together. Give you. Drinks hotter than the sun, and forget your food. Never order from here ever in your life. Also 20 percent of the good reviews are his family.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this branch as i went there not long ago. the staff used to be very helpful very kind understanding and never had a bad experience like this. There’s a guy with glasses very rude very arrogant he doesn’t know how to treat customers he was so rude to me as i have done something to him. I than even asked him why he’s being so rude towards me he than responded that that’s how i am and I don’t care if you like it or not order or get out. I than told him not to put chilli sauce in my wrap and guess what it was full with it. I went back and spoke to him about it and he’s telling me that there’s nothing he can do about it everybody makes mistakes and no one is perfect like this is not how you should act like working in a environment like this if you can’t handle it change your job mate!!! German donners manager or a higher authority needs to speak to this guy because he’s really letting your customers and the services down. Please guys if you go in there and see a guy with glasses dont even bother ordering anything and walkout as there’s a lot more food places around there where they treat their customers with respect. German doner Kingston fix up your staff please!!!!!

Mix Doner kebab is served more with fries than meat . Meat quantity is very less . Dirty tables . I will say it's not a kebab shop it's looks more chips or veg shop .Not recommend.

The food was not like other shop and service was really bad ! The guy is not even smiling and I have asked can I get one garlic sauce along I was willing to pay if it’s chargable also but he said it’s in there .! He mean it’s added in the kebab that I know that’s why I asked .!! Since we are the regular customer of Epsom store I expected same standards here but disappointed ⚠️

Hello, I would like to share my experience with you. When we arrived at the cash register, the manager didn't even speak to us. He turned his back and went to the kitchen. At that moment, everyone disappeared from the kitchen. A few minutes later, a person appeared at the cash register. I greeted him, but he didn't respond, just waited for the order. After that, we had to repeat the order three times, luckily we could see on a monitor what he was entering into the system. The food is good, but the service is terrible. I do not recommend leaving a tip.

OG kebab: the meat and veg quantity was of good standard, but the bread itself was not toasted properly - cold and hard to eat

Great, friendly service, really useful and sensible advice about what to order, with absolutely no ‘hard sell’, got a delicious takeaway, of just the right quantity, and at a very good value price. And open ‘til late late late! I think this could be a very very successful restaurant chain in UK - it gets so much so very right.

I've ordered two doner box with fries and I received less than half full boxes. With the amount of food inside I couldn't be able to feed my cat. Unbelievable to charge full price for this

I recently visited German Doner Kebab and had an exceptional experience thanks to Asad. I initially ordered a vegan kebab but realized it contained soy, which I don't like. Asad noticed my hesitation and approached me to ask about my preferences. When I mentioned I preferred something with potatoes, he promptly brought me a delicious potato kebab free of charge. His attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond truly made my visit memorable. Highly recommend this place for its great customer service and tasty food!

We love this place. The staff is considerate, especially Asad. He went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements. A kind and considerate soul who wants you to not just eat but enjoy it to your fullest. It really is surprising to find such warm souls in this fast- paced world. Great food. Portion sizes shrunk a while ago but now back to their normal selves. Manager Afrac (apologies if name wrong). Was curious and knowledgeable and could show you the best offers and options available to make the most out you experience. Best kebab you get from a take away around these parts

We ordered 2 chicken doner box salad and fries. It arrived has an over fried chips and less less less chicken with so much skin in there. I am a regular customer there and this is the second time bad experience so had to write a review to the manager to be aware of that. Feels disgusted!
