German Doner Kebab in Peterborough

Stone cold food. Bags delivered in aren't secure. Called and was told to come pick up myself when I said I can't do that no other option nor apology.

Ordered today online, usually buy in the shop. The service size was very different, a bit of meat and a bit of salat in the Gym Box. I would say half of the normal service size. Very dissapoited

It's way over priced lately. Food is ok when they actually manage to cook it properly. Sometimes all chips and meat are just soggy barely cooked unfortunately.

Popped in Saturday lunchtime, loved the food, and the service was very good. Helping us pick well and then bringing the food to our table when ready. Will be back when in town for the footy.

Rubbish. Me and my boyfriend went there last week and was served by someone wearing a covid mask( bit ridiculous). After placing the order, my boyfriend realised he had left his wallet in the car and went to fetch it, the man with the mask was ok about it. He was polite at first and then after a while, starts shouting at the staff. We both looked at each other in disbelief. He then went to the toilet, by now our order had been taken 15 minutes and still no sign. He then came out, never even washed his hands and started preparing the food. We politely declined and left premises, taking our business elsewhere. Never going back to this shambolic establishment.

The food of course was mouthwatering. Can't say the same about service. Bit slow...bit unprofessional ( employees chatting between themselves, instead of providing service). Cleanliness was 50/50... Guess they didn't have time to clean because of the life important chatter.

The food is dry and no have no testy. And also they charging for the suace they should close down never open for this

Food was 🤷 nothing special, handful of wafer thin beef doner +handful of very starchy fries 😏 had my little boy with me and the background music was full of swearwords so felt awful -this was lunch time so definitely inappropriate music, definitely will not be going back

Food lacked any sauce inside the kebab

Classic "European" style kebab with crusty bread. If you are bored of wrap kebabs, this is the place for you. Unfortunately they're always forgetting about fork. It's impossible to eat without it.

Last order was shocking, paid for extra meat and got this. I have contacted the Company but was only offered a discount for in store purchases, which I'm not able to use so a waste of time really.

Overall when you eat in store the food is fantastic and me and wife have been in twice and the quality is so high. So much better and tastier than anything we have ate. Word of warning the restaurant are having problems with Deliveroo and Uber Eats delivery drivers. As they are not picking up deliveries on time and are doing 3 jobs at once and by the time your meal comes to you it is cold. This happened to us but the owner when I spoke to him was nice and explained the situation and gave us a 2 meals free the next we come instore. Always brilliant instore but due to delivery problems with external companies you run the risk of your meal being cold but this can happen with any restaurant provider. So don't complain about the restaurant on deliveries complain to Deliveroo, Uber Eats or JustEat directly.

Visiting from out of town. When we passed earlier in the day the place caught our attention & menus in the widow looked really nice & different. We called in on way back, placed an order & sat down. My wife said we had been waiting a good 20 mins for our food to arrive. In that time plenty of just eat, Uber, etc drivers seemed to get priority. Our food eventually turned up and it was very underwhelming. My wife’s kebab looked nothing like on the menu, it was cold in the center & had no lattice finish on the pitta like on the photo. My wrap was cold to slightly warm. We upgraded to a meal deal and the spicy chips had a small amount of chip spice on them & the pots of yogurt sauce that turned up with each order were proper tiny. Probably enough to fill up A couple of thimbles. No need for cold food when you’re sat down in the restaurant. I’d avoid this establishment again regardless of what city it’s in. Can of Diet Coke was ok though.

Tasty food but did pay for extras in my kebab that either weren't put in or if they had been the quantities where that small you couldn't tell.

The food was abysmal it was cold and had no care. The chip were just pathetic they were made well but I thing they gave me chips that were of the warmer for 2 hours, and they were hard I am disappointed the food here has been amazing in the past but I will be wasting my money if I come back.

Food used to be decent when this place first opened. Now, it's like a different doner. Nearly every order is cold and salads are always day old and soggy. Today I got a really bad one....old lettuce that looked grey (sign of going off). I won't even mention the tomatoes that were definitely off.I won't be ordering from there anymore. That closed the deal for me. I wouldn't recommend.Waste of money.

It was an amazing experience and it was my first time there.

Phoned to complain that half our food was missing ! No one in charge until 7pm lady on phone most unhelpfully and blamed driver then blamed drivers son! Food was cold and when the rest of the food turned up driver blamed the restaurant staff and the food was stone cold ! Lady at the restaurant was not having none of it and argued down the phone that it was nothing to do with the restaurant! She then hung up ! We contacted just eat but have tm wait!!! Chippy it is then!!! Absolutely shocking £51 😲 for cold and missing food !

Ordering 2 time a week for collections.. so far I didn't had any issues. Today I was surprised my gym box is half empty.. what happened? Disappointed 😞. The collection was for 3.25pm.

Great tasting kebabs and doners. Has many good meal deals and overall the rates are reasonable given the excellent quality and quantity of food. The lamb doner and chicken doner is a must try. It's also HALAL. This particular branch is a bit small though and may get crowded especially during weekends or holidays.

Not Giving all the food and not pick up the phone

This place is such an unbelievable mess, the supervisors should be sacked - it has taken over 30 mins to get basic food, and - get this - there are duplicates of the order numbers so the staff often don’t know what to do! German in name only, there is no efficiency.

When it first opened the food was nice and the portions plentiful. Now it’s half the size and costs more! I got about a spoon full of chicken in the ‘extra large’ donner wrap which would just about fill up my 4 year old! Id hate to see the ‘normal’ portion size! It would basically be a wrap full of salad

On saturday 14.10.23 so currently I ordered doner krunch burger and 1xdoner wrap and 2xLarge doner wrap. Food was ok not so good like before, but weight beetween large and normal was 15g.I paid £2.49 for large doner wrap and weight was 416g when normal one was 401g. So is like one bait costing you £2.49. Sorry but no, thanks. Owner don't read my opinion I don't enjoy food I paid more for large option when regular was near same weight.

Ordered on uber eats and called restaurant to confirm part of the order and the person on at the restaurant was very rude

Visited as recommended by a friend. Excellent quality meat presented very well in a box. 3 different tips came with it. Perfect combination. Will visit again with friends and family and will try other items!!

I’m a regular customer here and definitely recommend it. The food is amazing as always. I usually have the mixed kebab with fries and is my favourite. You can’t go wrong with this place To be honest. The taste is totally different with others.

GDK is a great healthier and tastier kebab, you can taste the quality. Only qualm is if I order online I can’t customise enough for myself as I’m not always a sauce fan and it can be hard to get this across when you call to make changes

Gets a bit too hot inside when eating but apart from that everything is amazing.

Food is always served fresh and hot, staff are always friendly essentially Harry top shop :)

Mixed meat Gym box with extra meat is my winning combination.... Always ask for 3 hot sauce to help it along..... Love GDK always quick too.....
