German Doner Kebab in Sutton

So bad I’m unhappy with my order

I paid £15 for a wrap that was supposed to have extra meat inside, and it seemed to me that I was eating only a tortilla, the wrap was big enough for 4 bites, if you wanted to eat a lot you would think you would spend a minimum of £40. I do not recommend it with all my heart.

This is not the first time I have encountered issues with this chain. The food is very tasty, that is why I order from there regularly. I rate it 2 stars because a tasty morsel isn't what you are supposed to get! However, If you try and add extras you are literally setting fire to your money. This company seem to think that this is a cash cow and provide no extras whatsoever. If you look at the photos. In this one order I paid for feta cheese with the donner box and fries. You may be able to see a couple of shreds of feta that were included, but you have to look closely. Cheesy Fries- These were £3.49. It was literally half a bag (think McDonalds normal size portion) with a bit of melted cheese. There were close to 3x the number of fries with the Donner box & Fries order. Why? Because Fries are cheaper than Donner meat so in the Donner box & Fries they fill with the cheapest option. Normal Kebab - For the first time in over a year (having had exactly this experience) I paid an extra £2.99 for extra meat. Absolutely no extra meat whatsoever. Just the normal kebab. It is literally theft! So as soon as it arrived and before we ate, I phoned the restaurant to complain. They did the standard 'Phone Just Eat'. I said it had nothing to do with Just Eat, it was the quality of the food that you provided as a restaurant. OK they said, the manager is in at 9pm and he will call you back. He didn't. I raise a complaint with Just Eat the following morning (c. 12 hours after the order). The following day they say we have a record that your food was delivered and you didn't raise a complaint within 24 hours. Bit of back and forth to which they then say 'Our decision is final, no refund.' and that is that. This is now so standard in the food industry. One company blames the other and the consumer gets ripped off. No comeback, no apology, no anything. Why is this company so greedy! It is expensive anyway let alone when you add on service charges and delivery charges. Just serve a decent size portion and stop being so money hungry! Even though the food is tasty I will go elsewhere now. Once bitten, twice shy, 3rd time you're a mug! Will also stop using Just Eat as a matter of principle as they are just thieving so and so's. I get that they must be subject to a lot of fake claims but treating everyone as the lowest common denominator is wrong ..and actually against the law. However, who gives a damn and who is going to do anything about it. It can only be us, as consumers! Don't buy from GDK unless you are actually in the restaurant. They think that delivery customers are sub-human and can have the proverbial firmly ripped out of them. Thieves!

Ordered 2 times from them . 1 time the food didn’t came at all , after I’ve been waiting 1 hour . 2nd time the food came after an hour , cold , but the reason was that they have to serve the dine in people first . Not recommend at all .

I always order from this place and first time I was very disappointed, as presentation and quality were really bad. I ordered 3 meals and all of them she at least half of normal size and filling inside was very little and bad quality. I ordered mix meat for all items and beef was burned and tasted horrible. Very unhappy

I rarely write Google reviews, but I couldn’t leave without sharing how great this place is. The food was genuinely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. But what really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal. It’s not often you find a takeaway that puts this much effort into both quality and customer care. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

my order was never delivered. why is the courier delivering to the wrong address? they wouldn't have given him the correct code so why did he accept it and leave the order with them?? what a disgrace

Hey, I love this place, tried other branches but Sutton seems quiet compared to others. I tried their new rice box which was lovely, it’s never busy here , quiet and clean environment, ambiance music in the background playing, chill vibes. There so many options on the high street but you can’t go wrong choosing to stop by here.

Most of the time meet is not cooked , speacially the beef one. Guys stop selling that in people kebabs as you send us to hospital and worse long term run that's clear cancer . I will step back from eating your product till you changed the way to cook the meat .

Had Donor Gym box from GDK Sutton, it’s Yummy and Great service by the staff. I’ll highly recommend this place if you are in No-card diet.

I placed my order around 7.34 pm and received it by 9.37! Do you think this fair? And you do not have any contact details to contact you! What should the customers do spend their money and wait like an hawk? I need a proper explanation for your poor service. People order food online specifically dinner is mostly because they are back home late and super exhausted from work and will be super starving and you do not deliver food as promised!

No rudeness encountered here. The person behind counter was helpful and patient. Kebab wrap is really good, I asked for without onions and happily got without onions. Fries didn't have much taste on them though, some flavoured salt might be good? Edit, try the flaming fries, try the ayran drink it's quite unique.

Regular customers but tonight’s food was far from their usual. The garlic dip, chips and the OG bread tasted different, really not nice and none of us ate all our meal. Sorely disappointed and money not well spent.
