Always service with a smile. Really good reliably nice chips. Friendly. Small menu too but generally a really good quality chippy 👍

Yesterday I went to try George's as my usual chippy was unexpectedly closed. I wasn't impressed and won't be returning. The chips were overdone, i said yes to salt and vinegar but couldn't taste either. I felt the portion size was not sufficient as I asked for a regular portion not a cone. I clearly asked for a fishcake but recieved a mini fish. First and last time

Just been here for the first time and I can honestly recommend this place it’s beautiful lovely fresh food and was yummy

For a long time, it was fantastic, but the last few times, food was not great. I'm not sure I'll go back, to be honest it's a shame

Went for a family dinner I ordered a pork kebab and various other items, the whole family commented on how all their food was fantastic, my pork kebab was absolutely amazing the best I’ve ever tasted, as a recommendation from a friend you can’t go wrong eating here, the staff and owner are all friendly and great at making our order. Quite simply the best chippy in Coventry bar none. I went again the other day, I’ve become quite a regular at this chippy. I travel 15 miles each way and pass 10 other chippy to come here, because quite simply they are the best chippy in the Midlands bar none. I ordered a well done fish from the boss, just how I like it, the boss was more than happy to cook me what i can only describe as a whale, it was quite simply delicious, the chips are the best in the area of Nuneaton and Coventry and no doubt surrounding areas…. The family had various items and I can quite honestly say the prices are cheaper than most others considering the rising costs of various items. And the family loved every ounce of their dinner quite simply put….. THE BEST IN THE MIDLANDS 👌🏻

Went there, the boss shouted at his staff for giving out too many chips and garded them back out the packet with his hands and put them back in the fryer. Never went back

Let down by one star as had to wait for chips 20 mins after opening. Some of the best chips out there. Very tasty compared to these shops using so called healthy oil. More like dried up and tasteless.

Friday night treat for the kids and they love it. The chicken and donor kebabs are fresh, tasty with lovely sauces and salad, chips are tasty and fresh and crispy, no soggy chips like all other chippies in the area

Great staff members & good food

When the chippy first opened, it was great. Now however, the prices are really expensive and the quality of food is poor. Staff turnover is shocking, and manager/owner has an attitude problem which is why staff are always leaving. Little things like putting salad in a kebab when not wanted and then NOT rectifying the situation when asked, is what's gonna turn customers away. Food is also cold occasionally. Never had a massive problem up until a few months ago and things havent improved so will be spending money elsehwere.

Best chippy in coventry people complain they have to wait but thats because it's always fresh i mean what do you want quick service and stale food or wait a bit and have it fresh i don't go anywhere else.
