Im a wheel chair user, I last my right leg due to being assured, 4 of us went into have a meal as we went in to the door by the counter the woman behind the counter clearly sead ho no a wheel chair, makeing me feel I was not wanted in the place, before I list my leg we use to go every week want be going back

Nothing to do with food as A*** and shame as been going for over 10 years but the boy and girl who work there are so rude! And always cancel our orders on just eat

By far the best food takeaway and sit down for a Chinese in Tamworth great price and would not go any where else

I ordered a Gemini Special Chow Mein takeaway. It arrived in good time. The noodles were thin and just coated with sauce and the prawns, beef, chicken and pork were cut small and were generally tender. This was a very good quality meal and I ate it all which is more than I can say of any takeaway that I have purchased locally.

Food was really nice and a good variety of dishes and was hot rather than most places I've been to where it's only warm when bought out. The menu had individual portions and set meals , the young girl who served us was very polite and attentive. Overall a great place to dine.

The food was lovely, when it came! It wasn't particularly busy, but service was very poor. Waiter had no knowledge of the wine. Food took forever to come whilst customers around us were getting served promptly. Ended up staying for 2.5 hrs as the main took so long! waitress seemed to just stand by the fridge for most of the night! Disappointed 😥

Traditional western Chinese restaurant. Been going for years, always full on a Friday & Saturday night that tells you all you need to know about what the locals think.

Glad to find a dine in Chinese restaurant. We enjoyed the special set menu B for 2. All food tasty and hot, beef chow mein and beef in black bean sauce very tasty. Had a bottle of Bella Lucia pinot grigio which was good and reasonably priced at £17.95, on my A list.

An unusual find; a Chinese restaurant. Individual dishes are rather expensive but the set meals are good value. For example, beef in green pepper and black bean sauce is £12.80 but a set meal for 2 with 2 starters, 4 mains and rice is only £22.80 each. Quality is great, service is great. Overall, highly recommended.

Excellent food and lovely staff. Kung po prawns are the best I have tasted. Restaurant is clean and tidy. Well worth a visit.

Gemini in Tamworth, Staffordshire is by far the best Cantonese restaurant I have visited in the country. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. It was a regular place me and my late partner visited, about once a month but since he passed away in 2016 I have not been able to go back as I couldn't face going without him. I finally did tonight and it was lovely that the manager, Michael, remembered us. I told him that my partner had died and he looked upset as he knew us so well. The service is fantastic there, and feels very personal when Michael is looking after you. And what can you say about the food... outstanding doesn't even cover it. Everything we ate tonight was cooked to perfection. It's a must visit if your in the area, and if your not just travel there especially. Well done Michael and the team 😊😊

Brilliant service and excellent food!

Staying over night in the town. So this restaurant was conveniently near, which was its only saving grace. Four of us ate , all of us ordered starters and main meals with the intention of sharing all the dishes. First the starter meals came in dribs and drabs ended up having to remind them of one missing dish which arrived after we had eaten all the other dishes. We then had almost half an hour wait for the main dishes, which also got delivered to the table in the same fashion as the starters with 10 minutes spanning the time from first to last dish. We had told them it was are intention to share all the dishes but still they asked each time who order the dish as they brought it to the table. Asked for moist wipes after the starters had been eaten, as two of the dishes needed to be picked up with your hands to eat, but didn't receive any till after we had finished eating the whole meal. Leaving us the continue to eat the rest of the meal with sticky hands. I had the miss fortune of being the only member of the party to need the toilets, which at best where functional , with no working lock on the door, taps that rotated in the basin as you tried to turn them on and one solitary paper hand towel left to dry my hands on, which would leave the next visitor with nothing but toilet tissue. All in all the experience as a whole with food that at best looked like a warmed up supermarket meal and a WC that made me feel like washing my hands again, once I'd left them , I will not be returning anytime soon. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, I would suggest a trip to Fazeley, we're you can get excellent Asian food.

This is the best chinese food I've had for a long long time . The king prawns in batter were unreal . Enjoyed every thing we ordered and service was awesome really nice happy guy who couldn't do enough . Were from Manchester and was just visiting but will quite happily drive back to visit again !

This is the best Chinese around, the food is always fresh hot and simply delish...the service is second to none . My friends and I have dined here for more than 25+ years. Yet to be disappointed. Must try Salt & pepper prawns, Yuk Sung, duck & pancakes & ribs. Curry, sizzling beef in black pepper sauce & chow mien & egg fried or special rice...our favorites

This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Tamworth. The owner is so friendly and hospitable. It's been a go-to for my family's special occasions for the last 20 + years. You definitely have to try their Yuk Sung and spicy Kung Pao chicken 'Cantonese style'.

Fantastic food and great service. Staff were very polite. We had a great time celebrating a birthday.

Discovered this lovely restaurant on Christmas Eve 2017, loved it but then it was closed for a while for refurbishment. Went in August 2019 and yet again warm welcome, efficient service and delicious food. So good w took friends there a couple of weeks ago and they loved it too !

Glad to see this restaurant open again. Delicious food and nice friendly service as always. I don’t know what some of the loaners on here are on about. They must just be after a free meal. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten at. Look forward to next time! 🙂

Collected meal tonight part of it was wrong, I ordered beef and mushroom in black bean sauce itv was tasteless and bland and I don't call 3 pieces of mushroom part of the meal. Spring rolls tasteless and greasy. Tried to call to inform of dissapointment but constantly engaged, hence this review. Won't be going back

Great meal as usual with excellent service

Had to give 1 star to be able to even write a review otherwise would of been 0 stars. Food came ten minutes later which is fine however food was cold. Chips cold and tasted of warmed up stale chips from day before and that was the best part of the rubbish that came....highly recommend people don't use this pitiful excuse of a so called Chinese restaurant. Waste of time waste of money

Service is appalling. Mains took 4 mins for all the dishes to come out.

Typical old style Chinese food all ordered the same time but waited ages for main courses. Pleasant friendly staff. But really not impressed.

Absoultly disgusting it was totally in edable, I had chicken chow mein that just tasted burnt no other flavour and an egg fried rice that was a cogealed lump, total waste of money, I will never eat here again!

Almost real Chinese taste, nice personal. Quiet reasonable price. You'll be positively surprised.

Talk about bad customer service Had to wait 1 and a half hours for the food to turn up, kept trying to phone them to ask where my order was and they let the call ring out. Called off my partners phone and they answered straight away. DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!

Never heard of dumplings,told by the manager that is only in china Town! Spent £35,told would be £1.50 charge for the delivery! I have eaten at some amazing places,will not be eating or taking away from this over price establishment! As for the food,house special curry full of cinemon,sweet sour chicken horrible. Dont waste your money on this so could chinese food,better to try a different one.
