We had a beautiful dinner here on Sunday. Didn’t book ahead and the meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were exemplary. Will definitely be back again.

We have been staying in Yarmouth for the week, busy exploring all Norfolk has to offer. After a busy day travelling around and celebrating my birthday, the day was made complete when we decided to dine at Garrods. A perfect end to the celebrations. I had the lamb chops and my husband had the ribs. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. We both cleared our plates and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We stayed for a while after to enjoy the bar area and have a drink. We enjoyed the atmosphere, location and speaking to the lovely staff members. It was the perfect end to a lovely birthday. Thank you to all the team at Garrods! I can say for certain that the next time we are in Great Yarmouth we will be stopping in again!

I was staying overnight in Great Yarmouth for work and made a beeline for Garrods as soon as I’d dropped my bags at the B & B. Walked 20 minutes up North Drive. Arrived at 8.30 to be told they stop serving at 8.15! Pathetic. I was going to have a blow out meal to treat myself with lots of wine. Their loss. 8.15! Have they heard of the “service industry “? 😡😡😡

We visted Great Yarmouth for a mini break from London and we went to The Garrods Bar & Restaurant for dinner. The service was above and beyond, the staff was really friendly, patient and very helpful. The food was made to perfection and we really enjoyed the evening, we cannot thank the staff enough as we was celebrating a special occasion. If visiting Great Yarmouth I would certainly recommend visiting this place for dinner.

We are on a family visit to the area and visited the restaurant for a breakfast. We did arrive a bit late in the morning but that wasn't a problem!! Three freshly cooked, large and good value meals later we left as three very happy customers. Great food. Great service. Great value

We returned today to have our yearly lunch as always the food and service was excellent , everybody enjoyed their meals and comment on excellent service. We will return again and fully recommend this restaurant with its excellent choice of food and service

Christmas meal. Wow perfect .we had the belly pork bites so tender. Then the sea bream with King prawns was 5 but ate one before I rememberd to take the picture. It was so good crispy skin and no bones. And plenty of vegetables. We did not have a dessert as was to full. Compliments to the chef ,and the lovely polite waitress . And the resturant decorations are delightful ,they realy got us in the Christmas spirit thankyou We will be back .,

We had been meaning to visit Garrods for a few years, and at last the opportunity presented itself. We walked in just after it opened for the evening, without having booked, and were immediately given a warm welcome. Both of us ordered scallops with black pudding for starters, followed by liver & bacon. Both courses were first-rate, utterly delicious, and went well with a bottle of Argentinian Viognier. Sadly we did not have space for pudding, but we came away very satisfied by the food, drink and value for money, and charmed by the friendly staff. We look forward to our next visit!

We came to the Garrods restaurant in the hotel and it was just amazing! We were looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner for my Mum’s birthday and after a quick trip advisor search of restaurants in the area, we picked Furzedown Hotel and we are so glad we did. The Owner or Manager (so sorry we didn’t get your name!) was so friendly and attentive. He went out his way to make our experience so enjoyable. He and the lovely waitress even must of heard us talking about my Mum’s birthday and made it extra special by placing a candle in her desert. The food and cocktails were exceptional. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you so much for making our evening perfect.

I have to say the best Sunday roast I've ever had. Fantastic and great value for money. Ate here also the day before. Amazing meal. Great choice great value. Staff are exceptional. Great experience. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere. All staff extremely polite and helpful. I’ve been out recently to other restaurants and I’ve been disappointed with their limited menus. This was NOT the case here. So refreshing to have so many choices. The food was excellent . All my colleagues felt the same. Top tip don’t eat anything at least 3 hours before. You won’t have room.

Old fashioned decor, old fashioned service and old fashioned food. The portion sizes were massive, the menu very traditional, and the staff friendly if not very professional (no fingers in the customers food please!). Not really what we were expecting from the TripAdvisor rating but if that's your thing then you will probably love it. We didn't sadly.

Called in on speck for evening meal, greeted by very friendly staff. We both ordered the 'special', Duck with red berry sauce and Skate with Prawns. The food was outstanding and excellent value for money. Highly recommend a visit. If we are in the area again would make it a point to dine there again.

We live local and had family over from abroad and we went out for a Saturday breakfast to Garrods. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the food selection was superb. The staff are very polite and friendly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a breakfast or evening dinner.
