Fryers Delight in Haringey

The Fish and Chips were pretty good. Nothing very special but for that price it's a wonderful find and tasty! I can only recommend them. The fish was oily but that's to be expected with fried food. It was a good amount for two people to share.

Just had cod which was great but have to say chips were terrible hard and some were black had to throw them away

I would have been attending here for years and I remember they tried to swindle me out of 5 pounds. Essentially what happened, is that I gave him a 10 and never gave Me change, for reference what I had ordered came up to £5, when I said he owed me the £5, he argued the fact that I only given him a five. Because my mother lives relatively close, she had to come out and her dressing gown to argue with a man, and immediately as soon as she came out they offered to check the cameras, and before they did he immediately just gave me the £5 back. For the young people who want to go to this restaurant, I will totally say stay clear since I feel as if you took advantage of the fact that I was young, and the fact that it was out.

Enjoyed a quick bite to eat here. The chips here are spot on, and I like mine with salt and onion vinegar. Had the fried chicken which was tasty and hit the spot. Fryers delight member of staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant area was very clean.

If the oil had been fresh would be good albeit I got it around 7pm

Fries were a bit soggy, fish was tasty and service was fine. I might eat there someday again.

Chips were not fresh and soft. Also very small in portion. £12.20 for dine-in cod and chips. Fish was ok. Overall wouldn’t return here.

#Closeitdown AWFUL!! Better go cook your fish and chips at home...please Where do I start?....if I wanted hard chips and uncooked batter (too thick), I would have cooked it myself-Blindfold!!!! IT IS NOT HARD!!! Something so simple and delicious, you guys f-up...honestly, if you can't put the effort to cook a English dish...just leave it. Box size container is rip-off... Hard chips and burned crisp part is a NO-NO. Fish isn't fresh...is a sign the owner and staff don't give a f. And customer service is down the toilet. To see the staff laugh as a woman was in distress...is my final straw-Disgusting.

Chips were so so stale unfortunately. Not fresh and soft. I don’t know how that happens unless it’s been pre cooked and quickly fried off when customer orders. Wouldn’t try again. Resorted to microwave chips and that says a lot! Edit: the battered sausage was no better. Very thin coating and dull coloured meat. Texture was slightly gritty. Again looks like it isn’t fresh.

Watch what they charge you, because a £2 portion of chips, a £2 curry sauce, and a £1 can of drink = £7 in here

With name Friers Delight' have a lot to live up to. Even though good don't quite make it. However best in immediate area

I was very disappointed in my food when I got it home. Sausage was not cook properly and chip was warm not hot Never had a problem with them before but this time it was a disappointment as i could not eat none of it and trying to call them was very hard as they don't answer the phone.

Food was terrible, chips were soggy ad wings were crispy as hell. Asked to have food separated to make eating easier and was told if I want that the price changes, absolute joke. Avoid at all costs

Marcos fish & Chip needs to revaluate pricing structure then you may attract customers into (The Fryers Delight) frankly speaking you also need to improve your customer service skills otherwise you will lose customers. (Italiano) cashier was rude not polite or courtesy at all. I sure won't be bck in a jiffy.

Avoid At All Costs had to dispose my food in the bin due to it been totally smothered in some sort of chemical detergent. They are literally prepared to kill ppl.!!!!

Variable quality. Fish pretty poor quality and usually overcooked. Chips not bad. Portions small, served in a cardboard box rather than paper. Never a good sign.

My friend & I had cod and chips in the restaurant and,as usual,the food was great.The waitress was lovely(friendly but not over pushy).I usually get fish & chips to take away and I always get wonderful service from everyone in the shop.Thank you to all of the staff.

Nice atmosphere, but the pizzas are not quality

This is a great little place - such a change for Wood Green. Just fancied fish and chips after going to the cinema and thought we would pop in. The staff were lovely, the food was cooked fresh, it arrived in good time and great portion sizes. Also, it is extremely clean. Four us were full up and happy for £35 - really couldn't want for more - we will definitely be going back. :-)

Stingy portions for a large god and chips and very very expensive. Won’t be back here! My cod and chips didnt look anything like the pictures they use on this site. Avoid!!

Proper chip-shop chips and decent quality pies, scampi etc at sensible prices. Good size portions. Would recommend.

Warm, friendly atmosphere clean and bright. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food...they do a wicked cod and chips. Haven't found any other chippy who can match them. Good variety of food to choose from. Been coming here for years and as long as they are here will continue.

Best fish and chip shop I have ever been too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Cod & Chips with the mushy peas was simply delightful. I will be recommending to all my friends and family.

Very kind and attentive staff. The portions of chips are so big that I could not even close my takeaway box. Thats a good thing. Very fresh. Bit expensive but fresh. Have gone back many times. Yum yum.

*DO NOT GO HERE!!* My girlfriend and I purchased skate & cod with chips from Fryers Delight and it definitely wasn't delightful. The whole of the fish was covered in some sort of bleach/acid type detergent & the smell was really awful. Thankfully, we only had a small bite from the fish. Both our throats and tongues were swolen for a long time and we were very worried for the safety of our health. Make sure you tell everyone not to eat here as it's a very dangerous place to eat. I will be sending part of this meal to National Trading standards tomorrow as I want to ensure this isn't happenning to anyone else!!

The food is good but I wish they'd do something about the savaloys. Absolutely no taste to them whatsoever. I can't fault anything else. Rest is good. Prices are high but not extortionate.

i dont know what has happened to this place. But the last 3 times ive been there i have found the portions to be much smaller than in the past and the price has gone up. i wont be going back. I can find cheaper and better elsewhere.

Good clean eating area always improving the seating section the food is excellent but the batter is thin however the fish they get are good plus friendly service price wise I think I can get cheaper elsewhere

I bought cod and chips but the fish wasn't cod. I asked him twice just to check but when I got home and ate it, i realised it definitely wasn't cod. It tasted nice though but I won't be going back. 😣

I paid for the fish and chip £ 7.20 Fish was bad, watery ketchup. After three hours, I got nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain .. NOT slept all night ... just vomiting not recommend this place ever More !!!
