I normally pick up chips for dinner and am usually very happy. However, on this occasion was very disappointed to receive a measly portion of chips! I normally order a small and this is enough for me and my son but on this occasion the girl serving was really stingy with the portion. Wasn’t even enough to fill me let alone my lad having a few!

AVOID ANGELO'S FISH N CHIP SHOP!! Disgusting food and disgusting manners from the owner! How is he allowed to still use the excellent name of "Fryer Sid's". They were excellent with both the food and the service. ANGELO'S is appalling!!! Save your money!

Had 2 cod and chips delivered and not absolutely sure what type of fish it was. My wife and I were both ill and when we phoned to complain, we were told to "either see the doctor or report to the Food Standards Agency", which I have done. I couldn't discuss the problem with the staff member any further as the phone was slammed down! Incidentally, this shop is now trading as "Angelo's" and trading on Fryer Sid's good reputation. Why can I not give "no stars", which is deserved?

2A Hopefield RoadSo I used deliveroo, lamb chops bland , a pair of old leather boots would have been easier to check on ( binned) Chicken Garlic Chilli, overcooked chicken swimming in oil (binned) King Prawn Rogan Josh , swimming in oil 6 pieces of prawns overcooked tasteless (binned) It seems if your order arrives within 30 minutes of placing it, then all I can say it was not freshly prepared and they used the same sauce throughout . Please don't waste your money on this . I'm worried about my bowel movents. Total waste of my hard earned cash Too bad I can't give this a zero to minus rating

The thali arrived with 2 very small curries, dhal and rice and 3 small roti. Not only was the food completely mismatched (none of the dishes complimented each other… but worst still both the curries had actually gone off!!! Really disappointed!!!
